Sukai had spied the gardens from her window in the Girls' Quarters, so from there she ended up wandering about the palace trying to find her way around. She got lost a couple of times and ran into a couple of people accidently. Finally, after all of those obstacles she finally reached the garden in its entire warm splendor. Though she couldn’t feel the heat or the cold very well, she could only assume that it probably felt good judging by the scenery and the plant life that had grown about the area. It wasn’t busy, and one could easily see that they could become loss in all of the nature. That didn’t bother Sukai though, getting lost for a couple of days was just fine, though she doubted she could ever get lost. So as she wandered she moved in thought, she observed the plant life and the people that were moving about in the garden, from the people who maintained it, to the people who were simply just enjoying the beauty. She then had come across a guy who was just left by a young lady, who moved towards the palace or so she assumed because the girl was going back the same way she came. She stared at him for a little and then smiled lightly acknowledging his presence.
"Hi,"she greeted awkwardly, "Um..were you just ditched...?" she asked.

Austin stared at Joy's back with a cold feeling in his gut, as she walked away. It wasn't the first time a girl had treated him like that, and he was sure it wouldn't be the last, but it still didn't do anything good for his self-esteem. He sighed softly, feeling a weird wave of emotion rolling over himself suddenly. He reached for a cigarette in his robe when he heard a voice calling out behind him. 'Hi' A girl? No way. Austin turned his head first, slowly, before allowing his body to follow. 'Were you just ditched...?' 'Heh, might as well have been, as awkward as you were. Smooth moves, Ex-Lax.' Austin shook his head again; That damn voice was back. When the voice said nothing more, he looked at Sukai, observing her for a second before removing his hand from his coat to answer. "I guess, something like that. I don't really know her." Austin looked around for a moment, and noticed that besides the gardeners, they were the only ones around.
"And, if you don't mind my asking, you would be?..."

"I guess, something like that. I don't really know her." she heard him say acknowledging her presence.
Sukai could only chuckle light as she noticed him pull back his hand out of his coat empty handed. She watched him glance about them doing a quick head check to see if anyone else was around. Sukai had already taken account: 2 gardeners who seemed to just continue on with their work, totally ignoring that they were there, and no one else aside from them. She breathed in Austin who was already rather tall compared to her from where she was standing, which wasn't very close at all to begin with. 'It seems like everything just got a little more quieter,'she thought which made the situation more awkward from when it first began. 'What am I doing here anyway...'she thought to herself totally confused again as to what exactly she was doing. "And, if you don't mind my asking, you would be?..."
These words snapped her out of her thoughts and she looked at him dazed for a quick moment at a loss for words. Sukai then quickly recovered and smiled lightly.
"Isn't it suppose to be that gentlemen introduce themselves before asking about the lady?"she said softly.

"Of course, how rude of me." Austin turned a bit on the ball of his foot, and walked slowly over to Sukai. When he was within acceptable parameter for conversation, he took a small bow. "I'm Austin Gonzales." He gave a small, earnest smile, then calmly motioned to Sukai. "Now, can I ask your name?"
Austin wasn't generally rude, and he tried not to be, but sometimes he hated it when people demanded his name before giving their own. It seemed selfish to him, in Texas, if you asked somebody their name, they gave it, and if they wanted to know yours after, you would give it. Shizz was on a strictly need-to-know basis. And that was kinda how Austin liked it; but he didn't mind giving his name first this time around, because this girl didn't seem snippy or short tempered.

"I'm Austin Gonzales."
She took that name into memory. It wasn't going to fade anytime soon. She acknowledged his bow and took note of his smile.
"Now, can I ask your name?" she heard him question.
She curtsied lightly before offering her name, "Sukai Sakaki" she said with her soft alluring voice.
Sometimes she couldn't help it. Being a vampire didn't always have the best perks, or what people would consider perks. Having a voice that could sound almost seductive every time she spoke was not really a blessing in her mind. She had to face palm herself in her mind for her voice. Her voice was the only reason why she often didn't talk the way she did around men.
"So what brings you out here into the garden? Are you on the field trip too?"she questioned unsure of what else to say.
She face palmed again in her mind for speaking. Sukai was never this bugged about her voice, but for her first encounter with another male student in school that looked and seemed about her age she was definitely bugged. 'WHY DON'T YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR VOICE?!'she scolded herself feeling embarrassed. When this reflected outside she was happy that it was unnoticeable that she was embarrassed due to the fact that she could never blush anymore.

Austin repeated the name in his mind. 'Sukai Sakaki. heh...alliterations.' Austin observed her mannerisms carefully, wondering what she could possibly be thinking at the moment. Her body language was neutral, though she seemed to be a bit nervous. Why would she be nervous?.. He noticed her voice was rather alluring. A thought crossed his head as quickly as stars fall from the sky, and all he saw was a flash of an image. It was enough to make him pop his thumb, as he habitually did to re-focus himself. when she asked about the field trip, he nodded slightly. "Yeah, I came on the Airship like everyone else. By the way, while we're on the topic, how's the gravity treating you?" Austin was struggling to find a point of conversation; the image that had flashed in his mind was popping around like an annoying gnat now, and it wouldn't leave him alone.

"How's the gravity treating you?" she heard him ask.
She looked at him kind of confused, then jumped up and down a little bit to test the gravity. Sukai then felt her toe dent into the ground slightly as she put the rest of her foot on the ground.
"Just fine," she commented noting the stronger gravity, though the gravity thing didn't bother her too much, because of her super strength and super speed.
Sukai acted like the gravity didn't effect her movements at all. She still attempted to move like a regular human did on earth. Sukai wasn't used to talking very much at all. She too struggled to find a point of conversation with Austin.
"How about you?," she asked him throwing his question back at him not sure what else to say. She felt bad that it almost seemed like the conversation might not go anywhere further, but she decided to press on.
"I suppose its rather harsh since the teachers described it as having 20 pounds extra on every part of your body,"she commented taking a seat on a bench that was by a bunch of roses.

"It's not a problem at all, really; I have these nifty antigravity tags." Austin lifted his legs up from the ground, and he actually floated in midair as if he was in space. "I was just wondering if you needed any, it makes running around here and handling the stairs much easier." Austin had no clue that Sukai was a vampire; he didn't get that vibe off of her. To him, she seemed like a simple girl, with a bit of an outgoing nature. This was an agreeable trait for Austin, because he was outgoing too, and that said alot to him. When she took a seat, he followed her to the bench, and motioned to the seat next to her. "May I?" (gonna assume here) Austin smiled when she said yes, and calmly took a seat, sweeping the tail of his robe out from beneath his back before doing so.
"So, Sukai, why did you enroll at Ria, if you don't mind my asking?"

"It's not a problem at all, really; I have these nifty antigravity tags." Sukai watched Austin as he lifted his legs off of the ground floated in midair and was amazed.
"You could very well fly with those,"she said pointing out the fact that he was floating, "well more like swim through the air..."she corrected herself smiling lightly so she wouldn't bare her fangs.
"May I?"she stared up noticing that he meant to sit next to her and she gave a light nod, being unable to blush through her pale skin. 'That smile again...'she thought looking at his smiling face before he sat down next to her. Sukai liked that Austin was such a gentlemen, there weren't many of those in this day and age. Sure, there were plenty of vampire men that acted as such, but human men? No, there were not very many.
"So, Sukai, why did you enroll at Ria, if you don't mind my asking?"
The question itself caught her off guard, not many people who she had come across had asked her this simple question. Sukai was at a temporary loss for words as she thought of an answer. She was sent here by her family because all of the covenant's children were suppose to be elsewhere for sometime, but not at home in London. But, she couldn't very well say that now....or could she? Just recently through her meeting new people, she found out that the vampire population in the school was not something kept secret, vampires at Ria roamed freely with their peers knowing full well of who they were.
She looked at Austin again finally coming to a conclusion as to what she was going to say. "Well, I was sent here by my parents because of some pressing family matters that they did not want me to be associated with even though I know full well of what I am capable of doing. Still this wasn't enough for them, so they sent me to Ria to protect me and to allow me a better education to hone my proficiency in my skills and arts," she said finally seemingly breathing in a breath of air.
"What about you? Why are you at Ria, and what skills do you possess?"she asked looking up at him from under her lashes, she truly was intrigued about this person. No one had tried to get to know her by asking her simple questions like this in a while. It was...rather refreshing.

"I see. Family can be a bit frustrating at times, I understand, but they care enough about you to put you somewhere they feel is safer than being in their protection, and for a parent, that's a hard thing to admit from time to time." Austin crossed his legs, resting his ankle on his knee casually and leaning back into the bench to answer her response. "Well...I'm a wind manipulator, and i know a fairly decent amount of martial arts.." Austin held his right hand open in his lap, and some air visibly swirled into a ball in his very palm. He released it, and it rolled limply off of his lap, across the ground, into the water, where it popped like a balloon. A small splash of water shot away from the edge they were facing, into the rest of the pool. "..But I still have to keep sharpening my skills. They're like a sword; the less it is used, the more it dulls. So I guess that's why I'm here at Ria; To sharpen my skills. I need to be able to do bigger things with my abilities.." Austin looked off in the distance slightly, seeming to stare 1,000 yards off into the horizon. After a moment, he turned his head back slowly, looking at Sukai calmly. "Hey. Did you have any plans later?"

Evie almost giggled at the sight of Lucien's elaborate bow. She stooped as well, pretending to curtsy in response and tugged lightly upon an invisible skirt. She kind of wished she was wearing a skirt at the moment though. It would've been more airy and less sweltering hot in a skirt. She wished she'd had time to prepare for such a trip, but she supposed things hadn't gone too horribly yet. Maybe this spur of the moment adventure would prove to be worth it. So her bright smile lingered as she beamed up at Lucien, her head nodding. "Yes, please lead the way..." she responded softly.
Still, she ended up leading them for a moment, until she found herself being puppeted along, his hands upon her shoulders and steering her in the proper direction. She allowed it, turning as if it were the steering wheel of a car. She looked a little blank as she strolled along through the crowd, staring up at of the surrounding people and beings alike. It was all pretty interesting. It almost made her want to branch out more, and look forward to the trip to the ruins she'd said she'd accompany Lucien on. She was even willing to put up with seeing Varon there! After all, she didn't even consider the chance that he'd be here as well.
"Ah~!" she cried, clapping her hands together as they reached the gardens. "Lucien, we're here!" she cried, her stammer gone along with her fear and unease. "...it looks sort of like a desert," she commented, as she suddenly began wriggling about, tugging on her log sleeves to slip the long sleeve shirt from the short one she wore over top. Soon she had it off, wearing just the t-shirt, with the long sleeve bundled in her arms. She let out a sigh, feeling the slight relief from heat already.
Another figure bounded into the garden from a different section. Aki was still clutching at Gabriel's wrist, lightly of course. He didn't want to injure his new friend and partner in crime! He peeked over his shoulder with that same broad grin, his free arm holding the four stolen fruits against his chest. His eyes glanced around the area, and then he turned abruptly, feet skidding a little from the sharp cut. A second later, he'd ducked down behind a patch of plants and cacti, easing Gabriel down before him.
"Success!" he cried, laying the fruits out between them in a little pile as he settled upon his knees before him. "Zexon, are you still alive?" The little kangaroo rat's head poked from her bag, looking disgruntled, but Aki just laughed it off and picked up a fruit, holding it out to Gabriel. "Time to eat up and enjoy our prize!" He paused then, for a second, looking slightly thoughtful. "Oh, don't worry about it though... I'm sure we won't get in trouble or anything. They can just grow more!"

During this time she took his words into consideration and nodded slightly. It was odd, but she didn't expect someone younger than her to teach her something she should have known from the start. She was 222 years old, she's been around a couple of times, watched people move and fade away time after time. This was something that wasn't new. She suddenly felt really annoyed at herself for being so childish over it. Sukai supposed she had quite a bit of growing up left.
"I suppose you've got me there," she stated softly thinking about it more.
She watched his display of his wind manipulation with genuine curiosity. She almost wanted to touch it, when he let it go and it splashed into the water. It was sort of an "awww...." moment in her mind. Sukai then looked down and away slightly.
"Hey. Did you have any plans later?" she heard him ask suddenly.
"Huh?" she asked not sure if she heard him right, she then caught herself.
"No, I don't, why?"she asked unsure of what he was getting at.

"Well, they're having the dinner later, and i'm sure my best friend is probably going to try and show up with a date, so i hope i'm not too forward in asking you to come sit next to me when the dinner does come around, so he won't have any jokes to make later about me not meeting any pretty girls here." Austin had a simple way of summing it up and asking at the same time, though it came off as a sincere request. He gave her the same earnest smile he'd been giving her, then looked off at the plants for a moment. "If that's too much, that's ok with me, i'll manage, but i'd really like to show up with someone as pretty as you, just so i could rub his nose in it." It was kind of selfish and childish, but the truth was, Austin was completely making this up; he just wanted a date from Sukai. A date that wasn't a date at first, but over time, became a date. So as to disguise the developments of the evening.

Gabriel's eyes went wide. "They can just grow more? THEY CAN JUST GROW MORE?! ARE YOU INSANE CHILD?!" Gabriel was suffering from another panic attack. "I can't believe you pulled such a stunt just for four small fruits! They could of been just for the king! Oh no...do you know we might of committed a federal crime or something?!" The poor elf was clutching his head, nearly ripping his hair out.
"Oh, and another thing..." Gabriel started again. "How do YOU know that we won't get in trouble, hm? And how do you know that that food isn't tasty only to just the Treachu people, and other people's stomach can't handle it? Or better yet, how do YOU know it's not poisonous?!" Gabriel started clutching his head again, still shouting at the poor alien child. "I'm not going down for something that wasn't even my doing, Aki!"

Aki blinked, staring up at him in mild surprise as he started going off at him. He looked genuinely confused for a moment, and glanced toward Zexon while pointing to himself, clearly wondering why it was he who was being shouted at. How was this his fault? "You said you were hungry. I was just trying to help..." he murmured, expression falling as he fiddled nervously with the fruit. He'd done something wrong? Why would they grow fruit if people weren't allowed to eat it?
"If the king invited us, he must be friendly! And if he can eat it, then so can we! I bet once the dinner starts, they'll have bowls of these just lying around!" Cheerfulness returning, Aki smiled up at her frantic elven friend. He stood, reaching to pat him upon the head, and gently tug his fingers from his hair, or try to. "Now stop ripping your hair. Doesn't it hurt? Here, try this! Or I'll try it first, if you want?" He blinked, and only wasted a second before taking a very large bite.
There was a pause while he chewed, temporarily struck silent. Then, suddenly, his eyes grew wide. He stared blankly at Gabriel, wobbled in place, and suddenly groaned, gurgling on a mouthful of fruit. He swayed back and forth, and suddenly slumped, toppling forward into him as his eyes rolled back in his head.
