-For a moment it looked like it was going to work, she flinched. But the end was written out as soon as he saw the screen change, banging the controller against his leg as it let out a oh so loud "UGHHHHH".
And just as he would have in her position she turned, rubbing the win in as he glared out her for a moment, grinding the cocky aggression out on his teeth.
'Nice game' was something an opponet would never hear coming out of Lucas' mouth. But finally after a moment of grimacing and moaning under his breath, she got the next best thing, him muttering unhappily.- "Alright. What do you want then?"

She did have a little bit of human self-control, so she reigned herself in. The arrogant, gloating smile stayed firmly in place. Best two minutes of groping in her life, yeah right, not on her life. Only she didn't quite know what she wanted from him yet; she did want something, though, something... permanent. A figurative lightbulb went off over her head.
"I want you to tell them. On your forums," she said, specifying, one hand out as if scolding. "That you lost to a girl, even though you cheated at the last second." Pause. "And we'll have a rematch in two weeks. If you're not too scared?" She got up to put away the controller and retrieve her memory card. This had turned out so much better than she'd expected it to, it really had. Fffft! Soul Calibur IV was her game. How could she have ever thought she would lose?
Ffft. Ridiculous.

-He was waiting for it. For whatever punishment she'd pass onto him. What was offered was worse then anything he'd guessed however. His face showed his absolute displeasure at the idea too.
It wasn't THAT bad to admit he lost. But to admit.. in such a whipped way.. on the board full of people who acted as though he were some god walking among mortals.-
"Alright." -He said begrudgingly, probably only because of the promise that was attached to the end of it. He had to play by the rules if he wanted a rematch with the game girl. And eatting humble pie.. as much as he hated it.. could lead to eatting something far more delicious in the future..
Tossing the controller towards the system, he stood behind her, trying to dig up a little of his dignity.- "Can't keep away huh? You got it, rematch in two weeks."

Just desserts, Tate thought, her smile a little wider, hands on her hips. He wanted her honor, well, she'd take his. Just in a slightly more public fashion! "Sure, I haven't had such an easy win in years." Okay, that was a lie, she'd trounced some girl named lotusmechanism a couple days ago, and that had been too easy. The girl was playing Tira, christ.
"Two weeks from today, so... That'd be about the tenth of December, wouldn't it?" She cocked her head. "Same time, same place?"

-He seethed, absolutely bristled. Had they been like.. in one of their rooms he might have shouted, demanded a rematch NOW. But making a scene wasn't really on his agenda for the day. His fists clenched for another moment, before he finally soothed his shirt, heading towards the door as he lifted a hand in a wave.- "Check the forums later tonight, alright."
"And see you soon." -He was already grinning, idea running through his head.-

"Today I had the pleasure of challenging Tkonstantin to Soul Caliber IV this afternoon. I regret to say that she beat me in the end (even after a valiant effort to distract her), but worry not boys and girls. Miss Tkonstantin took 'quite' the beating afterwards. And is begging for another round in two weeks ;D "
