"Yeah," said Elke, nodding. "Sometimes me and Voirrey's breaks don't line up right, and it's so annoying to talk to Maman and Papa about kid stuff. I get it."
Her face fell a little when Yvette declined, but right away there was another smile. "If you like, I'll bring some by your room later. I always overcook." Apple cake was also coincidentally one of the very few things, other than cookies, that Elke could make reliably well. She was no Fallon, but practice made perfect! "I should probably put the books back now, though," she sighed.

This was a pleasant surprise for the shy girl. She glanced back to her email, then back to Elke.
"Oh! That sounds nice! A-are you sure it wouldn't be too much trouble?" She once more glanced to her computer monitor, as if signaling that she now wanted to finish this email quickly due to the promise of apple cake. It was almost childish in a sense. It took Yvette a moment to realize she was acting a bit foolish. She calmed herself down and looked back to Elke. Not wanting this girl to get lost with promises of cake, she offered vital information for her momentary companion before she fled.
"Th-thank you. Umm... m-my room number is WEA-74... it's on the third floor..."
Shyly, she offered an even tinier "...thank you..."

"Of course it's not," said Elke earnestly. "WEA-74! I'll remember." With a big smile, she hurried back to her table to pick up her books. On her way back to the circulation desk, arms full of books, she waved and called, "See you later, Yvette!"
This, of course, was met with a very loud, library-wide SHHH, but by then Elke had already vacated the library.

Yvette offered a small a shy smile, offering a few wiggling fingers for a wave. She giggled her itty bitty gerbil laugh as Elke basically disturbed the quiet of the library, but then realized she'd be doing the same shortly.
Her email wasn't going to write itself, and last she checked, she still typed so loud that you could hear it on the opposite side of the library. Sighing slightly, she got back to work. There was no way Yvette would miss out on apple cake!
((OOC: Fin and maybe start another RP? surprised ))
