 To Deceive the Eye!
Cherry continued to smile. "No more than the usual." She said, waving a hand at the woman at counter. She immediately came over, eyes staying away from Cherry and trying not to stare at Cory. "I'm just hungry, its been a long day."

Cory Lei Sannin | Leaf  His head jerked to the side, looking at the woman that had just came over. He thought, and knew what she was doing was rude, and what he was about to do was quite not necessary for the situation, but he felt it must be done.
His mouth stitches came undone once again, and a large storm of tendrils erupted from his lips. The tendrils forced the woman to look straight at his mouth.
"I suggest you look at Cherry's eyes when you take her order... It is quite rude, and I don't think you want to make me angry."

Cherry's eyes softened but she shook her head, not even bothering with looking up. "Don't, Cory. She has every right to be afraid. You're only making it worse for the poor thing. So put your tongues back in your mouth." There was humour in her voice, thankful for Cory's efforts. "She only knows what she is told." With that, Cherry gave her oder to the woman, ignoring the shaking in the waitress' legs and hands.

Cory Lei Sannin | Leaf The the tendrils let go of the girl's face, and went back into his mouth. Whilst keeping eye-contact with the woman, he made one of his eyes go lazy, spin around a bit, then go back in it's normal position.
"I'll have a veggie and sushi ramen please, with one of those little leaves on the side that make it all fancy."

Cherry felt her lips twitch in amusement once more. "You always so 'hands-on' with the people who serve you?" She joked, eyes soft, the pink irirs no-longer dull. It had been a long time that she had felt so... in place before. Like she was meant to be sitting there.

Cory Lei Sannin | Leaf Smirking, he cracked his neck as his mouth was stitching itself up again.
"It ultimately depends on if they are rude or not... Or if they forget my fancy leaf" he explained, pounding his fist on the table comically.

Cherry's smile suddenly grew larger, fuller, actually real and her shoulders shook twice in silent laughter. "Oh, yes," Cherry said, filled with joy. 'Where would we be without that fancy leaf?" Her voice was lighter, held more cheer, ultimately sounding more human.

"Yes," Cherry agreed. "They do. But they can never properly substitute meat or fish." She countered. "But are you telling me that the lack of a fancy leaf could be the ultimate trigger to a zombie apocalypse?"

"Hmm..." Cherry thought for a moment. "The Chef forgot to add the leaf, you become enraged, kill a few people, a bottle of weastachier sauce is broken, its contents mix with the dead bodies and revives them into the living dead. Tey then go, eat a few people and the epidemic spreads. Yes?" Cherry hypothosised, sounding serious, even with the smile on her face.

Cherry heard the silence of the small building in reply to Cory's outburst and once more her shoulders began shaking. She placed a slender hand over her mouth but what came next surprised her and the rest of the building's occupants; she laughed. Other times she laughed it was out of morbid amusement;no real joy in it all. But this was light and airy, filled with stacatto scales and obvious cheer. Cherry was laughing and it hurt because she hadn't smiled a smile that big in years.

Cory Lei Sannin | Leaf He was glad that she was laughing, let alone smiling, seeing as how the air around her felt like sadness most of the time. Now, it was a good air about her now, and Cory leaned back in his chair, the woman from before coming to their table to put their food in front of them.

"You are..." Cherry spoke between the giggles, calming down. "A strange, strange man. I like you." She said, smile still big. "I'm glad we met." She finally looked down at the food, pouring herself a cup. "Would you like one?" She asked, holding it professionally, having grown up in a traditional family.
