He listened quietly to Azi's reply, taking it in slowly. So she did want to have another litter of her own! That made him elated!
He looked at the beautiful, silver lioness next to him. To think that after all she's been through, she is still so maternal and nurturing. He nosed her affectionately, "Age doesn't matter when they would have a good mother like you. I've always wanted a family of my own ever since I was little. I lacked a family and wanted to experience that," He blushed brightly against his pale fur, "But...I'd love to see...our cubs running around, one day."

Azi smiled, nuzzling his maw back in return, enjoying this moent immensely. She didn't want the night to end. The moon was high in the sky, but the return of the sun would signal the end of the night and the end of this moment. She knew she'd never forget the words that had been spoken, but she wanted to cherish this moment, here with Kaja, for as long as she could.
She knew age didn't matter - something so trivial wouldn't stop her. His blush was noticeable against his pale fur and she let out a chuckle, nuzzling his neck fondly, "Someday, Kaja. Someday in the future. Right now, though, Jesenya needs my help with her children. But someday soon, I promise."

He purred softly with her as he nodded. One day, and that day would be something he would cherish forever! But for now, he was content with the love he has for Azi. "I would like to...help out the next time you cubsit for Jesenya. It could give me some practice at being a father, and all." He had never really had too much interaction with cubs before and he has got to start somewhere!
He looked back up at the moon. The silver moon that shared the same color as his mate, Azi. And he would be the bright star that accompanied the moon forever more! He licked her cheek, "Shall we head back to the den together? I am sure we will have sweet dreams tonight."

He'd like to help? She smiled - it would be nice, having someone else to help her look after them. She was sure they'd love Kaja, probably more as a climbing frame than anything else, but if he minded it was no trouble. He'd just have to tell them quite seriously that he was not a climbing frame. As Azi herself had had to do. "I'd love for your company," Azi smiled, nudging him affectionately, "And I'm sure Jesenya wouldn't mind. The cubs will love you."
She felt his warm tongue on her cheek and purred, nodding in response to his suggestion, "Yes, I think that's a good idea," she purred, licking his cheek before beginning back towards the den, a smile on her face. She, Azriell'Kyupe, had a mate. Something she'd never so much of dreamed of except as a young, naive cub. But now it was real, and she'd never been more grateful. And so, heading back to the den, she knew she'd be having a veyr happy life with Kaja from now on.
