And the seasons, they go round and round Abby sat at her desk and read through each binder. She happened to be one of those wicked advanced readers that could read an entire Stephen King novel in a day. These binders were no problem. 'Mini-spies. mini-spies,' she repeated in her head as she drummed her fingers on the desk. 'Mice into cats...mini-spies is the best us they can find? Another raid tonight will be enlightening and I intend to join in on this one myself.'
She closed the binders and hopped down from the large chair at the desk. She flattened out the ruffles in her skirt. "Caleb!" she called as she walked out the door. "Get another team, a new one, together. Tonight we are going for another raid and I intend to get much more than the binders," she said as her little shiny black shoes clicked on the stone floor.
"Sorry? If we steal any more from them they'll know we've been there!" the blond boy followed behind Abby and got a worried look on his face. "If your intending to go on this one, I'd advise against it."
"I know you would. However, I intend to accompany my pack all the same. They probably already know we've been there too. Security will be raised in that case. I cannot sit at that desk and wait for news of my pack's probable slaughter," she turned down the hall to her room. She rounded the corner and turned the knob of the very last room.
Abby knew none of her clothes would be ruined by changing forms. She only took a brush to her hair and took off the jewelry she wore. 'Wolves have no need for rings. No need to give the keepers anything to pawn off anyways.'

Felincia looked around her lab, satisfied with a job well done. She had moved her file cabinet from the main corridor into her own lab, and had hidden in inside a large metal cabinet, which was inside an oaken wardrobe. All three were locked with five different locks: fifteen locks all together. All of them were opened by the same key, but each required that the key be inserted or pulled out in different ways. The file cabinet even required the key to be slathered in liquid nitrogen in order to be unlocked, but if the other ten locks detected nitrogen on the key, they would not open. Of course, this would mean retrieving her notes would be a pain from now on, but it was an inconvenience she chose to endure. After dragging the cabinets into place, designing the locks, making the key, and installing everything, she had practiced locking and unlocking everything until she knew it by heart. The entire process took several hours. Then she had taken out all three remaining binders and re-written her notes, making them far more cryptic than before. "Mini-spies" turned into "mn-sp", and so on. More importantly, she removed her records on the ingredients of her formula altogether. These she would keep on her person at all times. Around one the lanky lad came to deliver her lunch - the lab heads were afraid she would faint from hunger. Felincia thanked him, bit into a banana, and continued scribbling in her new notes. "Mn-sp re sless. Wll cndct nw xprt. Hv nprtn..." "Are you... sure about this?" the lad asked incredulously. "I mean..." Felincia waved her hand, cutting him off. "Do me a favor and send that form over there to the janitor, please. I want a ring - better make that two rings -of keys made. Keys that don't have any corresponding locks. I'll hang one on the wall here and keep another in my pocket." "What for?" "So they'll think one of those keys opens the cabinets, stupid." She stopped. "I'm -" "Don't say your sorry." "But -" "You're upset. That's reasonable. Deal with it." "Fine. Just give the janitor that form, please." The lad left with the slip of paper, and Felinicia set about finishing her work. When this was all done, she would fulfill her promise to herself and inject yesterday's concoction into a mouse.

And the seasons, they go round and round [[most roleplays require characters to interact with each other...]]
Abby was running sprints behind the mansion. She had gotten very good as using trees to change direction. She did not even notice she had company until Caleb tapped her as she sprinted past. It was only because he was a werewolf that he could time it. A human, even a keeper would have a hard time catching her. She changed back into her human self and yelled, "DON'T SNEAK UP ON ME CALEB! YOU KNOW I CAN'T HEAR YOUR FOOTSTEPS!"
"Sorry," he held his hands up in a gesture of surrender. "You might want to think about getting ready to go before you tire yourself out doing this for a fifth hour," he advised.
"Right," she sighed and shifted back into a wolf so her shiny little black shoes would not get wet. When she entered the mansion she rounded up all the wolves she was taking with her and they set out, as humans, into the city to where they knew the keeper's lab was hidden. She had brought her cleverest wolves, the ones who had helped design some of the most advanced security.

Despite her parent's cold accusations that she was abandoning her family and becoming a workaholic, Felincia refused to come to dinner that night. An interesting development was happening with one of her mice-cats, and she wanted to observe it. She took a nap on a chair in the corner for a couple of hours, then rose to secure the lab. In case whoever took her binders returned, she kept all three locked up in the cabinet, placed the liquid nitrogen on a shelf filled with other liquids, and tied the key securely around her neck. It was decorative enough to look more like a fashion statement than a high-security research project. She also kept the false ring of keys in her pocket. Strapping several weapons of her own design on her wrists, she decided she was safe and began to conduct her experiments anew. She sent a form to the lab heads, requesting rabbits, then turned to her mouse. A leg that had been a cat's leg two minutes ago was a mouse's again. Before her very eyes it was changing back to a cat's. Interesting...

And the seasons, they go round and round The part of the pack that was infiltrating the lab entered through a passage they had found. When they were all in the guards took out some real guards and their uniforms. "If your coming to the real part of the raid, come with me. Tyler, take the rest of them and make some real looking raids on different places in here. Try not to get detected. We don't want to make them think you guys are a diversion," she said giving the much bigger people orders.
Her group did not become wolves like the others. They instead ventured down a different hall and came across a boy sitting at a desk like a receptionist. "Hey! You're not allowed to be here!" he hollered at them. One of the biggest men changed into a wolf and pounced at the boy.
"Would you like to save yourself?" Abby asked the boy as her long black hair fell forward. she had bent down to speak to the boy who was pinned on his back. Her eyes studied his lips waiting for a reply.

Felincia heard the lanky boy holler, followed by a thump. With a jolt she realized there could be three things happening: one, some human had done something stupid in the middle of the night. Two, and much more likely, vampires had come to raid. Three, and just as likely, werewolves had come to raid. Come on. It was practically midnight. How many options did you have? Felincia ran to the door and locked all three locks. Wishing desperately she had thought to add a few more, she scrambled away, grabbed all the weapons she knew she could handle at once, and crawled on top of one of her laboratory tables. If someone wanted to get at her experiments, they'd have to get in and past her first. She glanced with anxiety over to the cage she had left on the table. The mouse whose leg kept changing shape had died, but it brought some interesting questions. If she lived through tonight, lab heads better give her those rabbits.

And the seasons, they go round and round They had killed the boy. He was not their concern. Abby quickly changed into a wolf and Swiped her paw across the padlock, breaking it and damaging another lock. She looked up at one of the others to begin picking the third lock. Within a minute, they were in the lab. Only the one who had picked the lock was still in human form.
Abby saw a girl standing on top of a table. Her much older sounding wolf voice asked, "Do you intend to beat all of us?" She stood there with her long fur draping down her body.

Felincia almost panicked. Why did you need so many werewolves just to raid a lab? Wouldn't that make it easier to get caught? Crap! 'These are brutal, prehistoric monsters,' she tried to remind herself. 'They're not ready for your weapons.' She had already fired one. The silent missile had nestled itself into the fur of one of the werewolves; he wouldn't notice it, seeing as it didn't do any bodily harm. Now she was prepared to use the next weapon. Her index and middle fingers poised on a button, she aimed for the eyes of the werewolf who had spoken. She was sure that the beast would be able to dodge it, but it would hit one of the monsters behind her. "Actually, I do intend on it." Click. Two tiny missiles the equivalent of vampire fangs sped in front of her. Without waiting for the result to happen, she hollered at the top of her lungs. "Werewolves in Lab F! Werewolves in Lab F!"

And the seasons, they go round and round Abby swiped her paw at the little missiles. They fell to the floor with a little ting sound. She jumped onto the table and growled her most ferocious growl. She hoped the other wolves would keep the Keepers at bay. "Get the notebook! Don't worry about the keepers, the others will hold them off!" she shouted. Her wolf voice sounded like someone in their early to middle twenties and rang with much more authority than her nine-year-old body could.
"If you would like to live and ever try to complete some of your research, I suggest you give us those notebooks," Abby snarled at her and swiped her paw at a set of flasks and beakers nearby, smashing them into tiny shards. She bared her teeth and looked at the woman in front of her. "Consider carefully."

'Dang.' Felincia had never been this close to combat before. Her lack of athletic abilities had led to her instructors losing hope in her long before. They hadn't counted on her weapons. The impact of a gas-compressor releasing spontaneous combustion blasted the werewolf a few feet away from her. It was dazed, but unhurt. Still, Felincia took the opportunity to scramble away and dash to the window. She was opened it, slid out, and slammed it shut. She looked two stories down at concrete. 'Come on...' She turned to the window and prepared another weapon. They couldn't let her jump - they needed her alive to get the binders. She wouldn't let them come and get her - the window space was too narrow for werewolves to try and reach her without getting within reach of her silver missiles and other weapons... 'Crap!' When they finally pried the window open and came snarling at her, she screamed, "I'll talk!"

And the seasons, they go round and round Abby gave a skeptical look, ready to play to any weakness she could find, and jumped into the narrow little space. "I suggest you get talking then," Abby called from just inside the window. It would be a tight fit as a wolf and her human form was not her best option if she could avoid it.
"Lay down your weapons and we won't hurt you. Werewolves may not be the gentlest of creatures, but we are fair. We keep our word," she said referring to a battle that had resulted because some Keepers had promised to stay off certain territory and a conflict that arose and claimed many lives. 'Still dangerous, still a threat, any weakness,' her thoughts were slightly disjointed from one another as they always were in the midst of a fight. Instinct is stronger than ration.

Felincia took a deep breath and spoke clearly. "Let me walk outside of the building - have me escorted by werewolves, if you must. When I'm out, I'll page you and give you the instructions." She clipped one of the traceable pagers from her belt and threw it at the wolf.

And the seasons, they go round and round Abby didn't know what exactly hit her head, but she let out a soft little whine as it struck her. "How about you open the locks now and then you can leave unescorted by any of my pack?" she replied from inside the window. "I'll even have all of the others turn into human forms, much less powerful than wolves," she offered sniffing at the pager. "Who still carries a pager aside from doctors?" she asked, remembering when everyone once had one.
"As a sign of good will, I'll even be in human form if you wish. Then you'll know who the leader of the Blacks is," she said leering at the woman's mouth. It took quite a bit of effort on her part to read lips, particularly as a wolf when she could not mouth them back nearly as easily.

Felincia couldn't help it. She replied hotly, "That pager is of my own design! You won't find any doctor with one of-" The wolf reminded her of their present issue with a glint of her eyes. "I'm afraid that won't do," Felincia replied, trying to sound calm. "You see, I can't actually open the locks. I know what you have to do, but it takes some of the stronger Keepers to do it. When I come in every morning they do it for me. Just let me leave, and I'll give you the instructions. Once I give you the instructions," she added, "my escorts will have to join you inside, and you have to let me go unharmed." Her mind was racing. What had she done with the first notebooks?...

And the seasons, they go round and round Abby bared her teeth again. This girl was like a cub to her, new. "How about you take my offer. I doubt that you installed all of these locks, just after out last little visit, and are incapable of opening them yourself," Abby gave a sly little wolf-smile.
"I'm afraid you overlook my common sense, built up over several centuries. I'm not a stupid little pup," she told the Keeper girl. She hated Keeper's ignorance of werewolves and, she made a sour face mentally, vampires. They lived for eons compared to these humans. "How about you can call in two of your pals added to my offer, refuse that and we will simply wreck your lab until all your notes are burned or you finally open the safe up for us," she paused a moment, "if your not already dead that is."
