Fanta yawned, arching her back to stretch as she lay in bed. The girl blinked slowly, letting her eyes adjust to the bright light that sifted in through one of the windows, and then let out the softest of groans as she pulled herself up, the sheets falling down around her. When her feet hit the carpeted floor, she sighed and pushed herself up, stretching her arms above her head until her shoulders and spine emitted satisfying cracks.
Then, Fanta decided to trek downstairs to the kitchen.
She slipped on her slippers and shuffled down the hall, spiraling down the staircase, and then finally made it to the kitchen. On the kitchen counter was a note:
Hope you're enjoying la casa! Remember, if we show up in your backyard, just ignore us as we bury bodies there! Lots of love,

The girl rolled her eyes, crumpling up the note and tossing it in the garbage.
Capofamiglia... Mafia Bosses... silly Cesare... she would hit him upside the head with one of their shovels if he and his group of mobsters dared to bury bodies in her pretty gardens.
Pouring herself a cup of mocha cappuccino, Masque settled down in the living room, mildly wondering if anyone would visit today.
