Could you at least tell me what chapter your on?

Yeah, I wrote that prologue LOONG after I wrote the first chapter, I meant to make it it's own post but I'm a bit to lazy to go back and edit everything down one.

I read this a while back - I could have sworn I commented on it then.

It's good. You know how I can tell it's good? Because I must have read this first time round about five/six months ago, and when I started skimming back through it I immediately remembered who everyone was and what was going on in the plot. The best thing about it is that your characters are unusual - they're normal, they have ignoble prejudices, you don't glamourise them. Even if you wrote the prologue later, it's a nice touch - we want to know about the relationships and events that led to it.

I remember seeing some bits and pieces that could be tidied up, though I can't quite remember where now. If you like I can try to find time to comment on your most recent version - though with the new semester looming on the horizon I can't promise it'll be done quickly. (Even my stuff and other people's work I'm already committed to reading isn't having much done on it right now.)

One last thing - up until recently this guild was pretty slow. People always have a lot of stuff going on in real life, particularly during term time (considering our average age group), and I know I don't often feel like I can pick up much more than I'm already doing. So don't get disheartened if people aren't responding, because it really isn't anything personal.
