I hate to say this, but I find this utterly stupid.
There goes my Beatrice cosplay, too.
Isn't Gaia supposed to be PG-13?
Then why would we have a ban on that? They're just items. Most of us just put them on our avatar because we like how they look, not because they actually mean that we drink or smoke.

So what gaia is telling me is that because my avi holds a cig in its hand I'm gonna be like "hey, let me blow 8 bucks a day and pick up a habit!"? Is that is?
Cuz that makes sense to me! I always sat around my room with 10 bucks everyday, wondering "hmm, if I could only pick up a habit endorsed by a pixilated character I created from my own imagination and have modeled to be what I thought was cool, from exactly what my parents molded me to belive was cool, I wouldn't be wondering what to do with my money right now"

I agree in some respect, but not if they are going to make people sell their tobacco items. I don't think they should show cigs, etc, as cool, but they shouldn't ban them either, because that to a child is like saying "You can't have these because they're too cool for you talk2hand " Am I right?

I mean, sure Gaia can say they don't want to make tobacco/what ever the ******** they want related items, but they really shouldn't remove existing items. Unless they got sued or something. Which I doubt.

Gaia's been sued before, over the "THIS WEBSITE SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR YOUNG CHILDREN PROMOTES GAMBLING!" and they took the casino down for two weeks because of it while they were going through legal hoops. And then won.
