Her mind was wavering as she continued listening and not wanting to move and attack him; no matter what, he was just a kid, and he didn't seem to want to inch forward to attack her. As long as he wasn't attacking her or attacking someone, it was alright, wasn't it? Perhaps someone like Astraea would scream at her for it, but it almost seemed like he wanted to not fight her, to escape from this predicament they got themselves into.
Sigh. She wanted to escape too.
"Alright." Sailor Flora finally said. "I'm late for a meeting anyway." With this, she did not say any more but ran past him, ran towards the movie theater where poor Toby was probably waiting for her. Really, having these responsibilities sucked.

He could have kissed the ground (just not that dead body area, sanitary issues, y'know) at his sheer luck. It had worked? Maybe he wasn't so helpless after all.
Granted, he hadn't actually done anything with the senshi-in-his-face problem, but he had escaped unscathed right? Might as well leave the fighting to those who reveled in it: other than bruises and an almost-trip to the hospital, Torbernite had never gained anything from such struggles either. All he justified was that, one day, he would have a battle to his advantage, and THEN he would show them. Really. One day.
Not bothering to look back to see if she was still there, he pretty much shot past said senshi not unlike his escapades escaping school after a Friday afternoon detention. Freedo- crap! The movie!
