Hikari: Bit distracted, gains back into focus as the realization of Myou tugging at his arm caught his attention. "Ye...Yea, sure.. See ya later Ankoku."
Marik: "Yea sure.. Hope to see you guys later, I have to go edit my deck anyways.." Starts to turn away into the boat, then quickly turns back "Hey, you guys think we can duel tommorrow, I'm not sure, test each others skills, give us an idea of how powerful we are? Im not much of a duelist.. But I would like to try, It wouldn't be tournament or anything beside the fact it hasn't started yet..."
Hikari: "Uh.. yea sure, we will see Ankoku" Leaves off with Myou.

Myou shivered once they were out of sight of Ankoku. "there's something off about him... His aura is the darkest I've ever seen. Well pretty close to yours anyways but a bit darker, whatever happened to him in the past really screwed him up.." she said quietly "and whatever you did altered your path quite a bit." she took her item out as looked at it curiously.

Smirks.. "Yea.. but it wasn't like my path wasn't headed down..... Hey?" Glances at rose. "Thats a pretty rose.. where you get it?" Ignoring the aura comment, He was too use to stuff like this happening. "But beside that point..." Glances off toward the boat while still walking "Your right that we have to watch after him, make sure no trouble happens, Im going to duel him tommorrow, lets see if hes any threat in that area." Why walking bumps into someone.. "Oh sorry....." Looks up and its a blonde with purple clothes on... "Hey I know you....." Eyes widening with shock "Your Mai Valentine, One of the finalist of Duelist Kingdom."
(He He brought in your character.. also do u mind if we actually act out the duel, I find it fun)

"an antique shop..." was all she could get out before Hikari bumped into Mai Valentine. she then rolled her eyes and became very silent.
"hey W-...." she caught herself before smiling at the male duelist. "why yes I am. I'm flattered that you recognize me." Mai smiled and put her hands on her hip "and who might you and your....friend be?" she glared at Myou with daggers, clearly remembering the girl.

"Hey Im Hikari, and this is Myou..." Stopping for a bit, realizing that Mai seemed a bit angry. "Hey.. is everything alright?" Looking back and forth between Myou and Mai. Then ignoring it, moved on "So Mai, are you participating in the upcoming tournament as well?"

Myou just laughed as Mai glared at her "don't mind her, she's still ticked from our last duel Hikari." she then stretched calmly "well i'm going home, I have a deck to rebuild plus a pile of homework from the cruel overlord teachers." she waved as she walked off alone towards her nearby apartment. She snuck in quietly past her drunk and passed out father and up to her room. she bolted, locked and barred her bedroom door before plopping on her bed and started her math and science homework. "I wish i didn't have to live with at cruel man." she mumbled.
Mai watched Myou walking away before looking back at Hikari "yeah, and I guess you and Myou are as well?" she asked curiously. After all she needed to know potential opponents as well as ones to steer clear of during the tournament.

"yeah, just modified a bit. you'll learn more if you see me duel or duel me yourself." Mai said confidently and with a cocky smile. "I've grown stronger since Duelist Kingdom."(same ><)

"Is that a challenge?" Starts to take deck out from case on his belt. "No strings attached, Just a duel to find each others skills, I just got one of those duel disks at my house." Pointing at Mai's arm, there was a shiny, new duel disk provided from the kaiba corp industry. "We would just need to stop by there quickly so I can get it, so we can have a real duel."

"a real duel is showing your wits, not holographic monsters and playing cards." she stated calmly "but fine we can duel this way too." Mai said calmly and followed Hikari. (btw i don't remember all her cards. i don't have her deck either.)

(this is our roleplay, as long as u have cards like harpie lady, and all that other stuff, you can subsitute some other cards, and remember, no being cheap wink )
Soon after they got to Hikari's block, he gathered his duel disk and ran outside, "well, it doesn't matter because fact of the matter is, Kaiba's tournament only plays by holographic monsters and playing cards." He smirks and activiate's his duel disk and sets his cards in the duel disk. The meter on top reads 4000. (should it be 8000 like tournament rules state?) "It's time mai valentine... TO DUEL!"

(Mai runs a Harpie Lady Deck, occasionally with several other female-related cards included within. During Duelist Kingdom, her Deck focused mostly on multiplying the amount of Harpie Ladies she controlled via cards like "Elegant Egotist", while another tactic of hers boosted her Harpies' ATK with cards like "Rose Whip" and "Cyber Shield". On occasion, her Harpie multiplication strategy would serve toward strengthening her Harpie's Pet Dragon. During the Battle City tournament, she included Amazonesses in her Deck, as well as several of their support cards, like "Amazoness Archers" and "Dramatic Rescue". In her Duel with Yami Marik, the multiplication of her Harpie Ladies would serve the purpose of Tribute Summoning Marik's Winged Dragon of Ra (although she did not know how to release it from its Sphere Mode at the time). During Waking the Dragons, her Deck still focused on the multiplication of her Harpies (using a card called Nightmare Tri-Mirror), but it had changed to a half Beatdown, half Burn theme, focusing on "The Seal of Orichalcos" and cards like "Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation" and "Sparrow Formation". )

(Alright forget the duel then, Ill do the duel between hikari and marik, or Myou vs. Marik if you wish to join later, we can pretend like the challenge never happened)
"Oh my god! I cannot believe I am actually talking to..." Realizing how weird it must of been for mai for this estatic duelist to talk to her, he regained control. "Mai Valentine, So.. What are you doing out at this time, the Tournament doesn't start until a couple days from now."
