"Yeah you do." Forney quipped. "Especially ones as stupid as yours." He started for Lind but Epsilon stopped him. When the redhead tried to break away, the teen slammed a foot down on the pastry chef's instep.
With Forney grumbling in pain, Eppi steered the conversation back to lighter things. "Really? You should have brought a friend that would have made waiting more fun." He replied optimistically.
"Oh yes, I completely agree." Tian put in. "Forney dragged me out today. Thankfully Eppi came too. However, now that you are here Lind, we can be gloomy about the errands together."
"Not if I kill him first." Forney muttered.

"I don't have to explain s**t to you," he snapped, not even bothering to look at him. Besides, probably has the same look like someone shoved a pile of dog crap underneath his nose.
"Heh," here was a snort as he shook his head. "They all have more sense than agreeing to that. They'll end up as pack mules." And no one really enjoys that. So he was left to suffer endlessly under bags upon bags.
It wasn't really that bad, really, but still. It's the principle of the matter.

"That is so true!" Epsilon gasped, nodding in understanding. "Well, since Forney only needed the chocolate, we can stay here and help you." He offered with a grin and Tian nodded in agreement.
"Like hell I'm helping him with his shopping!" Forney interjected.
"Then perhaps you can just go home." Tian said coolly. "If you can find it that is."

Hey. Maybe Forney should take his own advice. Because if he just shut up, then Lind wouldn't be having to get all snarky back. Besides. Don't give it if you can't take it in return."Only if you ask nicely," he all put cooed, batting his eyelashes, pseudo-charm dripping from his words.
"If you want," he said with a shrug, glancing at the shop window. Still talking to the person. Might be here for a bit longer. "Won't be too interesting, but hey. Company's always welcome."

"Alright then, it's settle--" Epsilon's comment was cut of at Forney's shriek.
"I'm gonna kill you!" The pastry chef shout and launched himself at Lind. By luck, he manged to knock the male to the ground, getting ready to punch his face in.
"Stop it!" Epsilon gaped in shock, trying to pull Forney off, only to be pushed roughly to the ground. Jin Tian was at the male's side, not sure what to do. Forney had just snapped and he didn't know why.

Awesome! Company was generally preferred on such things. And something was going to be said, but it was cut off by the fact that he was suddenly on the ground.
Well, s**t.
"What the <********> is your god damn problem?!" He tensed up, ready to, you know, not get punched in the face, but was stilled by a voice that seemed to cut through the chaos.
"What is going on here?" A tiny woman stood in the door to the store, hands on her hips, looking down at the group with a look that would freeze water.

"You're my goddamn problem you ********>!" Forney shouted, hands tight in Lind's shirt and shaking him roughly. He too stopped at the sound of the woman's voice. He turned his eyes to glare at her, baring his teeth angrily.
Eppi was still on the ground with Tian kneeling beside him. The teen was holding his arm out, blood dripping from a rather nasty scrap on his elbow. "F-Forney's crazy!" Eppi stuttered to the woman. At the sight of blood splashing to the pavement, he paled, lilac eyes brimming with tears. He couldn't stand blood and promptly burst into frightened tears. He was going to die! The teen continued to cry and Tian was still at a loss, tentatively bundling Epsilon into his arms, looking ready to kill Forney himself.

The woman surveyed the scene through narrowed eyes, not even the slightest bit deterred by Forney's look.
There was a slight sigh as she turned her attention to Forney completely. Well, well, well. A few steps were taken, and one arm reached down, fingers firmly grasping the man's ear, using that to pull him up.
"You and I Need to have a talk, young man." She said. There was a brief pause, and then added "But first you apologize."

Forney squealed in alarm and the sudden pain in his pulled ear. "Ow! He whined. "Lemme go you hag!" He was on his toes, trying to lessen the pain in his ear. "I'm not apologizing at all."
Eppi's tears stopped and he sniffled, watching the woman manhandle Forney. Tian curiously watched too, as he paused in the mopping up of Epsilon's bloodied elbow. What would happen now?

"Young man," she said, pulling his head down to her eye level. "I have dealt with enough kids throwing tantrums that you can't say anything to let me go." The look she gave him would probably stop a rampaging bull in it's track. "Now, if you don't apologize I can take you back to whoever is taking care of you, and not only you won't enjoy it, I won't as well, which will make it significantly worse."
Lind sat up, wincing slightly at a wing that was awkwardly squished under him. Subo glanced over at the rest of the group, making sure there wasn't any serious injury before continuing. "Or you can apologize to my son and your companions, and we can continue on with our day."

Forney whined and gave halfhearted pull. He thought about hitting the woman with the brick of chocolate, but decided against it. This woman was scary and reminded him of his mother. That and he didn't want Basil to know about it.
"Okay okay!" He relented, though still trying to squirm away. "I'm sorry!"
While Forney was learning how to apologized, Jin Tian had wrapped Eppi elbow in the handkerchief as firmly as he could. After he did that, he moved over to Lind to fix the bent wing. With a gentle hand, he smoothed the speckled feather, putting them back in their place. He glanced at Forney. Even after the apology, the Herald's pink eyes were still cold.

Subo sniffed, clearly not pleased with the apology. So she tugged him around to face the people on the ground, briefly relenting her hold on his ear so he could do it properly. "Tell them, not me."
Lind twitched slightly, not quite used to people touching his wings much, but he ended up relaxing slightly, finding it rather soothing. "Thanks," he mumbled, giving the other Herald a slight smile.

Growling angrily, Forney shifted to face everyone completely. "Epsilon I'm sorry for pushing and Lind I'm sorry for jumping on you. You too Tian" He had the urge to ask the woman if that was okay, but held his tongue.
Jin Tian blinked and Forney and Eppi gave him a small smile. "Apology accepted, I suppose." He replied slowly, returning to Lind's wing. "It is not a problem. Are you hurt anywhere?" Showing as much concern for Lind as he had for Eppi.

She surveyed the group, debating whether or not she wanted to be mean and make them sort it all out, but decided against it. One step at a time and all. "Good. And I don't want to hear anything else about this." She gave Them all one last look before nodding and going back into the store.
Well. That seemed rather miraculous. Especially that he remembered his name and everything. Will wonders never cease. "'S alright," he mumbled, pretty sure that if he didn't say anything he would just get all riled up again. Not worth it at the moment."Nah,I'm fine.

Forney made sure that the woman wasn't watching him before sticking his tongue out a Lind. "Whatever." The redhead muttered, yet didn't say anything else on the matter.
Tian wasn't sure why he had recieved a look from the woman, but he was glad that Forney had been stopped. The Herald rose, offering a hand to help Lind up. "Good. I would have been vexed if you felt otherwise." Tian sighed. "What do we do now?" He asked.
Epsilon seemed to have forgotten about the whole incident as he sneakily dipped his hand into the bag with the broken chocolate from earlier. Happy as a clam, he drew fourth a rather large piece and began to eat it into oblivion.
