Why are you upset that you aren't having a baby? Seriously.
Because like most stupid pregnant teenagers, I WANTED THE CHILD.

I hope you realize that irrationallity tends to create problems that might go beyond this.

You should consider making decisions on a cost/benifit analysis only, and completely disregard your emotions because they are terminally wrong.
But you need to understand that emotions do have value for some people even if they don't for you.

Was I talking to you?

Does it matter if you were talking to her?
I trust and value her opinions.

It's not like you had to acknoweledge her response if you didn't want it anyways.

If I were nice to people who were being dumb, it creates more dumb. It's really not that complicated. Market forces govern most everything. Do you understand what an incentive is?

Are you planing to die before your benefactors do? Because that's the only way that your short-sightedness would be a good option.

I was giving advice to you, and she immediately assumes that I'm directing my criticisms to general public. If she weren't so emotional, perhaps she wouldn't have seen seven layers of meaning in my post, and violently overreacted.

rolleyes Sorry for creating drama in your thread Katie.

And Cathl I will always point out advice I see to be in error for the benefit of the poster. The more opinions they have the more informed a decision they can make so if I see something I disagree with I say so.

I have other options.
I mean, I'm pretty wealthy. And my benefactors will still be alive in three years time unless they're involved in a freak accident. If I had the kid, I could stick it in childcare when it was old enough and work during the day.

But I'm not having kids anytime soon anyways, so it's not like it matters anymore.

One thing you said really bugged me and I thought I should put in my two cents, even though others already have. I'm probably saying nothing new to you or others in this thread, but anyways . . .

You stated that you were protected just becuase you were taking the pill. The pill, even when used 100% properly, which you admitted you didn't take it properly (and nearly 60% of woman who are on it think they are using it right but they aren't), still is not 100% effective on it's own. Your partner still should have worn a condom. Becuase you skipped some of the pills and (I assume, which is dangerous of me, lol) your partner was not wearing a condom becuase you thought you were protected enough, you might as not have ever taken birth control. Under the circumstances you put yourself in, it's like you were never on any birth control and therefore left yourself wide open the possibility of getting pregnant again.

I didn't read all the responses in this thread, so I probably missed some inprotant info that would make this presponse seem stupid or void. Oh well. Here's something else you most likely already know: No one hear can tell you if you had a miscarriage. Please seek a doctor asap! If not to find out if you miscarried, then to atleast adress the super heavy bleeding even though it stopped already. That kind of bleeding is not healthy on or off birth control of any kind.

*finally read the rest of the thread*

That's good you are going to a doctor when you can. Chalda is right too. Meeting up with guys and having sex soon after you meet them is no way to form a relationship. How long you want to wait (or hold out) for sex is up to you, but meeting up with strange guys off the net is not very good. I know we all secretly hope for that romance story (sleepless in seatle) to happen, but it is very rare and hard to come by.

Why not look around you or atleast get to know someone in person before jumping in bed with them? There are always risks, but waiting and getting to know them first will help you decide if you really want to be with them, have their baby, and so on.

On another note, even if you want the quickies, you should still ALWAYS have them tested first. True, it is one hell of a mood killing formality, but it would better protect you.
