Ebby nodded a bit, "And dancing for the show. I like to do that sort of stuff. What do you like to do these days, Zuba?" she inquired, smiling brightly, "Found anything you like to do?"

Wow. Singing and dancing? That was SO awesome! If only she could do that. She paused at the question asked of her, her mind going blank. What did she like to do? "Well....like reading. Art history....yoga...video games. Nothing special. Can cook a little, too." she said, smiling and shrugging. Pretty normal interests, as far as she was concerned. Nothing too extraordinary.

"Those are good things." Ebby said with a smile, lightly squeezing her friend's arm a bit before backing off. "Some of them are practical and others are fun. You have fun doing them right? That's what's important."

'Zuba smiled lightly. She could go on about how singing and dancing were MUCH more interesting, but she decided not to go down that path. She glanced down the path at her original intended destination, then back at her friend. "Want to go see the fountain?" she asked, smiling and motioning to the water-spouting sculpture.

"Sure." Ebony agreed. She'd really been coming from that way initially so she'd already seen in, but she'd double back and look at it again with Zuba. Things like that were better when shared with friends. The cool clear water was really pretty too.

'Zuba smiled. "Race you there?" she suggested, nodding to the fountain. True, running seemed a bit out of place in a peaceful little park like this, but it was still fun. She'd already started walking that way; sneaky headstart!

Ebony snorted and nodded, following behind the girl. She wasn't the fastest of creatures and Zuba had had a head start, so the older girl easily beat her. "Good run, Zuba, you did well!" she complimented, leaning over to hug her friend.

'Zuba smiled, chuckling. "Thanks." she said, hugging Ebony. Of course, that was a total lie; she cheated. But it wasn't an official race or anything; just goofing around a bit. She turned to look at the fountain, a small "oooh" coming from her. It was so pretty! The look on her face was akin to a little kids; eyes wide and gawping in awe. Of a fountain. Of course, the only thing she had to compare it to was the tiny little fountain on their kitchen counter top, which could make a sprinkler look impressive. But that wasn't the point; it WAS a pretty fountain. Especially with the light hitting it. "Isn't it amazing?" she asked, looking over to Ebony. It seemed to take her some effort to draw her gaze away from the streams of water and the little, chubby merbaby statue in the center. So cute and so pretty at the same time!

The pink haired teen smiled, hugging her friend back and nodding. "Yes, it looks very lovely." she agreed, staring in awe up at the structure. "I've seen pictures of huge ones in big cities, but this one's the prettiest I've seen around here. Especially if the light hits it just right so-Look! There!" she exclaimed, pointing at a streak of light cutting through the cascade of water.
The streak hit the ground, but the water broke it into many colors instead of just one. "Isn't it pretty?" she cooed, watching the leaves swirling around it.
