She personally wasnt really thinking too deeply into this whole ordeal- being naive and oblivious normally meant that she showed her emotions on her sleeve.. and normally had even harder issues catching up on the vibes from others. Or she mistook them for something else.

Wandering into the store she peered around- looking for her target. A friend of hers was a total gamer- so she figured this would be the best place to find a gift. Not know about games... she settled on the idea of a gift card. She'd pick it up later. Wandering over to one of the sample machines- she picked up the guitar and slung it over her shoulder. She did not know about too many games... but this one she knew. She had played this one before. Turning on guitar hero- she picked one of the easiest songs on beginner mode (hey never said she was good!)

"Where im from?" She pressed the keys more- only missing one or two here or there. "I grew up in destiny city silly! My parents are hardcore Christmas buffs. Well, my mom is. We always decorate the house." More pressing of the buttons- she was really rusty at this. "Its pretty- lights, ornaments, wreaths, and we even get a real tree!"

"My dads normally not home at all- even Christmas. I only see him normally once or twice a year..." A sour chord was struck as she mentioned her father.

Almost on cue- her cellphone made a familiar little twingle. It was her alarm to tell her that it was getting close to her curtview. Looking back on her new friend- Beth practically leaped into his arms and gave him a tight hug. "I need to be going- thanks for shopping with me today!"
