Sin had only taken a few steps before he felt a presence. He turned and saw a young man emerge from the shadows. He sighed. There are too many shadow walkers here. He thought. Least, too many for my tastes. He turned and watched the small group. Might as well, watch this scene. I've got nothing better to do. He slowly strode up and stood next to the boy. He looked at him and studied the boy before him. A lycan-like boy. He turned his head again and stared out into the snowing world. Unnatural winter... He thought, closing his eyes as he reminisced about the old world before the world.

Upon hearing Indrids call, he simply nodded as he stooped down onto his haunches. The rope ladder was already coiled up next to the entrance within reach. A simple clipping of the hooks into the rings, he let the ladder uncoil down to the ground, coming to a stop just before before his eyes saw the Halfbreeds wings. As much as he was detached from most of the members and rarely surprised by much, he couldn't stop his heart skipping a beat when he saw them, and was enough for him to close his eyes as he stood back up.

"Thanks!" he yelled, climbing up the ladder. He didn't want to go inside because it was cold, but because, well for some reason he felt like he was being watched out here. He didn't know why, but he felt like it.
After he got to the top, he nodded to him. "Are you cold?" he asked loudly. So damn hard to talk in the storm... thought to himself. Even without receiving an answer Indrid made the air around him warmer. Any snow that came within him melted immediately.
"Look, its like my own little rain cloud." he said laughing.

J'Valia landed lately on the edge of the entrance, and shook her self slightly in an effort to dry herself off. Slowly, her wings retracted. She focused on herself, feeling reality as it was, shifting, changing, never stable, and bent it to her will. Suddenly her clothing was dry, and she noticed the person who had let down the ladder. "Hello." She said conversationally as she waited for the others to accend the rope ladder.

This was much better, escpecaily with the storm building out there. She turned to Indrid "So are we gonna stand here or further inside, where it's nicer and much more cozey?" She asked. She blinked, over come by slight dizzyness. She had a forboding feeling. But shook it away.

He eyes looked the halfbreed over as she was no in full view. He had to admit to himself, wings or without, she was very attractive, but in the back of his mind, he reminded himself that he should not search for such things. Simply nodding to her salutation, he reached down and helped Indrid up onto the loft and looked down as if to see if Marcus was following, ignoring the joke of the rain cloud as the snowstorm gave way to rain.

He nodded at her. He could see her more clearly now. It began to get hard to think. He knew Marcus would be all over her. The thought made him chuckle. He sat down, the cool air around him making him smile. He looked down at the people ascending the rope. He thought he would make conversation.
"So they are massing?" he said, rubbing his chin. "What do you think they are up to? Should we go in and investigate?" he nodded toward the portal off in the distance, barely visible through the storm.

Sin's little touch pad began to chirp. He tapped on it a few times and a camera and sound sensor came onto his display. 'Should we go in and investigate?' He heard Indrid say over the system. He sighed and shook his head. You can't investigate. He thought. He closed his eyes and focused, his body then abruptly disappeared in a cloud of explosive mist. He reappeared a few feet behind the group. He put a hand on Indrid's shoulder and shook his head.

"I say we investigate some more. It never hurts to look ." She sadi seriously. "When ever you want, sir!" She aid standing up strait. Then she startyed to giggle. "Sorry Indrid, I'm not trying to be rude or anything. I just feel sort of off... But in all seriousness, whenever you're ready." She pulled her hair back and brushed thruough it with her hands so it fell behind her back. The flying had messed it up a little, but as long as she brushed it later she'd be fine.

"Alright, well here's what we can do." He said looking at the portal. "Seeing as its so far away, and this storms bad, we can walk over there, or you can each take turns carrying us over there, J'valia." He shrugged. "You're the only one that can fly for a while without stopping, unlike us."

Upon hearing investigation, he knew he could not remain silent. Standing up, he sighs lightly before speaking his mind. "If we are to investigate further, we must first decide who is to go. The demons are ruthless, the devil even more so. We must keep an investigation team small and capable of blending."

Indrid nodded at Alastor. "True, but if we run into some trouble, we need people to be able to fight.

Sin sighed and walked forward to volunteer to go. If we must go, I might as well. I'm tired of being cooped up in the base. He thought. He looked around at the others to see who else would volunteer to go.

J'valia looked over at Indrid. "It might take me a mnute or too, but if you want I could just make the storm go away until we reach the portal." She shrugged. "And then we could walk. And by the time we reached the portal any jet lag I would have would be gone." She looked at the groop." But I agree with him," Here she nodded towards Alastor. "We need to know who's going frist."

Within a minute of his arrival at the entrance it seemed everyone had arrived there as well. Sin explained the situation to him, which was very odd as he was pretty sure it was the first time he'd ever heard the guy speak. Another demonkin stepped out of the shadow he had been using to ascend to the entrance and lowered the ladder for the others below. More and more people arrived, one of which sported two pair wings, each pair a different color. She was the last known halfbreed alive, that much was obvious. Stepping out of the way, Khalim watched the crowd grow and kept out of the way.
