"Bargath, Noktal. Glorious day isn’t it." Grathrym slowly trotted next to them. Seeing as they were two of the other Devils he treated them with some respect. "Soon my two trusted warriors. Soon we will be strong enough to take the fight to them. The Light will fall. You sense it do you not? The time is coming for our forces show our truest and most extreme strength." He looked over at the training demons and felt pride but otherwise hate at the demons. He felt no compassion seeing them as only lives and stepping stones to be used for his ultimate victory. He turned back to the powerful Devils. "I will need your help as well to crush and exterminate the forces of the Light, as well as those Pathetic humans and those Half-Breeds, Cambions, and even the weaker half demon half human Nephilim." His rather short temper had begun to get the best of him. Black flame began to sprout from his hands and head. "You will be there to destroy them right?"

Appearing through the portal, the lycan stood back up properly, shivering as he could easily feel the darkness int he place. There were plenty of shadows to hide, so long as the shadows themselves didn't hide the demons themselves. Looking to the rest, he looked down and away. "Sorry to keep you waiting..."

Indrid nodded at the wolf-like demon. "Alright, everyone's here. Let's go." he said eagerly. Not eager because he wanted to get close to those damn demons, but the corpse.

(So I guess you know where I'm getting these pics from don't you Zacheriah? lol. What server are you on?)

Feeling Indrids enthusiasm didn't fill him with any himself. Following his lead, the lycan stuck close to the shadows, his red eyes darting as he sniffed the air quietly. The place stank of sulfur and brimstone...no, more than that, fear took on its own smell here. Death and rotting mixed in the air that made him cringe each time he took in its scent.

"I don't think you'll need to worry about using the shadows." Indrid chuckled and as he got away from the corpse, he was happier, but then the dread returned to him. He sighed. "We're still a while away from the fortress, which is where I think we're going. And I think the demons are done here." As he stepped onto a rock he saw everything. There were more corpses on the ground then ground. It was terrible.

Coming up to Indrid's side, his eyes grew wide. His past, the one sin he had carried...this was nothing to the sight he saw then. It was much worse, and the feeling of seeing it was more than a punch to the gut, it was as if his insides were torn from the demons who did this to each body that lay on the ground before them. He doubled over, heaving as his lunch came free from his mouth. After a few moments, he got control of himself and pushed the feeling aside, gasping heavily for breath.

Indrid looked at Alastor and back at the carnage in front of him. He looked back at everyone else. "Come on guys, let's go. But it's not pretty." he said stepping down from the boulder and onto a corpse. "Ughh." he moaned. The corpse was so old his feet actually went through it. He forced them out and his human side couldn't take it anymore. He threw up.

J'valia followed the two up onto the rock, and looked at the carnage around her. She had seen worse... Much worse... but this was still a rather gruesome sight. She shuddered, and turned to Indrid. " I hate this. Everytime... Everytime it just gets worse and worse... I ...."She stopped, and turned back to the carnage. Her eyes watered, but she refused to cry. Not here.. They had more important things to do.

She wiped at her eyes with her sleeves and followed indrid down, minus the stepping on the corpse. "Ready?"

"Y-yeah.." he said, wiping his mouth. He didn't look down. "Just take us to where you found them massing and let's get the hell out of here." He began walking forward, trying not to step on any corpses again. He wanted to use the wind to push everything out of the way, but he didn't want to disrespect the dead. Especially not here.

Soon. Soon enough. It wasn't the first time the demon leader had said that. Each time, it never happened. "Grath, why would you ask a silly question like that?" Bagarth asked sarcastically. Rhetorical question. To ask the question was almost insulting, but the demoness shrugged it off. Grathrym wasn't one to think about how others felt... much.

"The quickest way, but not nessicerely the safest way, to get there is to fly. If you don't mind running again, that would probly work best. But we're heading towards the fortress. The closer we get, the more deons you will see. Be careful, and please! Do NOT be seen. I am your back up plan. Stay together. If anyhting goes horribly wrong, I will create a temporary portal. Now follow me."

J'valia moved forward, heading from boulder to boulder at a steady pace

"I'd rather not run." Indrid said, trying not to look back at the corpse behind him. He followed J'valia, really close, he suddenly became paranoid and stuck as close as he could to her. "Let's just hurry."

Not saying anything, he simply followed them, keeping close to any shadow he could see. He knew she meant well, but he could tell the halfbreeds fatigue each time she used her powers. Even if she held great power, without the full heritage, they would always drain her. In case she couldn't, he would have to be ready to memorize any shadow he could. It would drain him more than doing just himself, but anything is better than falling prey to a hunt.

Helgron rose from his quaters to do his daily rounds . He went about his daily routine, thinking about this war, which was nearing its conlusion. The humans had been Halgoths key all along, they were easily corruptible, and that had led to near extinction. An absolute obliteration of earth was easy because of the lights arrogance and faith in humanity. The light had stood by for too long, and now were too weak to stand the might of thier armies. He walked out to the main courtroom, and then out to the grounds where Grathrym stood." we will slay them like the dogs they are" Helgron said as he aproached him. "Our legion will crush eany oppositiion, you have my word on that."

Sin just watched the scene unfold before his eyes. He smirked a little when Indrid stepped on the corpse and threw up. He had an odd, twisted sense of humor for a half angel. A half angel , half human cambrion, mind you. But half angel nonetheless. He disintegrated into mist again and slowly started following them. But he soon took the lead, going in front of J'valia. "I'm going ahead." He merely said to J'valia. His voice sounded wispy and low, like a whisper, and went off. He got to the fortress gates and slipped into the fortress through a crack in the stone block walls. He materialized and knelt, folding his wings into his back. He was inside a dark chamber. Or it might've been a closet. Either way, he'd infiltrated the fortress. Never thought I'd be in here again either. He thought. He gently opened the door a crack and looked outside. A demon passed by casual. The fortress seemed practically empty. Which mean't something big was happening. He got out of the room, and flipped up the hood on his cloak. Sticking out like a sore thumb...not good. So he decided to re-mist. So, he turned to mist and hugged the ceiling, following passageway after dark passageway. Then, he noticed a gathering a courtroom. He figured he'd stay and observe this meeting to see what the meeting was about. So, he hugged the ceiling of the dark corridor in his mist form and watched with intent.
