Sabidan thanked him. "But still, The Purge would destroy everyone in the Universe except us, so if the things continue the way they are, the only way we'll end this war is if we kill every demon." He looked towards the ground, he knew that was very unlikely. "Or us.." he mumbled softly.

"Well when the time comes, the time comes and thats all we can wait for. It may be now it may take another milenia. Just know that we will be by your side." With that Rachdarmos walked around to the other soldiers giving slight adjustments in form and commenting on certain faults in slash moves or other attack moves.

"Degial knows what we need . . . I have faith in him. As for the recruits, is that not their task? To beat back the darkness with light and destroy all that stands in our way? The Light requires it of them, and we must not fail." Despite his calm and patient persona, a hard edge comes to his voice at the last words. A heavy a burden this war places on him, as hard as all this has become for him, Rael channels that hatred into a single laser-like focus. He must succeed. Humans were meant to be the ultimate success. Instead, they proved his failure. Light does not fail, therefore the failure was his own . . . and he won't be that naive again. That thought burns in him, and as he says the final words, his wings flare with passionate anger.
Still, the passion fades quickly, as he refuses to take out that anger on those undeserving. Sabidan is his closest advisor, and greatest champion. He does not carry this mantle, and needs no more burdens. Still, to the task at hand. As they meet the soldiers, Rael remains quiet and smiles warmly to each soldier. While Sabidan and Rachdarmos 'chat,' the king of the Light mingles with the lower Celestials. Here and there he offers a shift of armor, or adjusting the grip on a weapon with nothing more authoritarian than a warm smile.
When he works back to his general and the master at arms, he catches the jist of what was discussed. "I assure you, the Purge is underway. What must be done will be done- there is no other choice. A progression of Light, one that will succeed." A sideways glance tells Sabidan that the doubt won't be tolerated. He won't reprimand him publicly for his doubts, but he also won't allow this to become something to undermine the Purge.

Sabidan looked up. "The Purge is underway? Since when?" he quickly led Rael aside, not wanting to worry the recruits. "When did this happen? When did we decide? What will the council think?" He remembered what he thought earlier. So many questions and no answers. Every thought seemed to come back to him. He shook his head, as if doing that would make the thoughts leave.

Rael looks to his friend with a slightly confused look. "Have you not paid attention, General? We have had skirmishes and battles. The Earth is now a wasteland due to our war. The battle has been underway for some time, granted not in the brobdingnagian push that we are planning now. The war is ongoing, and is required ever since the humans refused the Light. Only now we begin a more aggressive phase." The king smiles warmly and begins to walk away from the training grounds over to a memorial wall. On this wall, he himself has etched the names of every Celestial lost in this war. The polished stone like a mirror marred only by names. A marble wall of lament. Rael often comes here to remind himself that this is the right path and lead him onward. Looking to the wall, he speaks softly. "We will not fail, and you are not forgotten."

Sabidan's eyes fell. Wiping out an entire species was one thing, but two? I mean granted, the Demons were vile, wretched, soulless beasts but wiping out everyone of them with just a click of a button? It made him feel..strange. But whatever the King said, was the word. Obviously now, the council was out of the question.

Rising from his reverie, Rael's eyes seem darker. Almost as if a person had not slept in a few days, but Rael does not sleep. Instead, his eyes seem harder, colder as he walks with the same pace as before, moving towards the chambers used for planning. Again, he notes his General's mood, but says nothing. Sabidan knows his word is both valued and heard, if he ever chooses to say it. If he chooses to remain silent, then so be it. The Purge requires his attention. Troop deployments, maps of area held, and any news of current skirmishes await him.

Indrid shook his head again. "Just deal with it." he said to himself walking up to Rael. He tried to remove his mood from his face but it was too hard. It went away slightly, he hoped Rael couldn't see it, but he knew he could anyway.

Degial let his wings take him a couple of meters again, to the balcony. His eyes followed the figures of his two superiors. But Degial was not paying attention. He let his arms spread across the balcony railing, and put his head on the gilded surface. He let his wings stretch out above him, and reflected a pure white radiance, the prisms of light taking the colours of the rainbow. Around him, feathers fell onto the balcony and surrounded him in snowy white. Some of them passed through the ground into what he knew was the world of humanity, falling into the hearts of the creatures that dwelt there. A place of beauty, of Eden... Degial thought, his mind forming images of the world below. Degial sometimes doubted whether perfection could be achieved there, when there was so much vice. Yet, his visions remained clear, he would not be swayed by the seeds of doubt planted even into the eternal lands of Sarra.
Degial would succeed. He would create another Sarra in the land of humanity. A replica of the perfect world of ideas, even when using imperfection to construct it. There were limits to that replica, but as long as evil was eradicated, the dark selfishness that the demons bestowed upon humanity could be erased, and in its place, a sense of faith and awe would still. Slowly, Degial raised his head to look up at the brilliance that was the sky. His face illuminated in the sun was radiant and inspired hope in even the most hopeless of battles. Degial stretched his wings again and took off, flying down to the soldiers training.
He would find a land that he would shape into perfection. From the world of chaos, a tiny bit of perfection would be formed. Beauty and innocence had exquisite power that the demons did not know. It was possibly more awe-inspiring than sheer force. The subtly of such things required an angel's guidance. It was one of the most ancient forms of magic. The devils were blind to disregard such notions, and Degial knew that it was their downfall.

Sabidan looked up at the Degial, and smiled. "It's almost complete." he told Rael, his mood changing instantly. He was noticeably happy, more happy then he'd been in months, or was it years? He lost count.

Degial frowned in confusion, "What is complete?" He wondered if he missed a part of the conversation. Yet, Sabidan looked pleased, which in turn pleased Degial. Perhaps something good was happening. Degial had almost forgotten the last time it did. It would be a welcome change for once.

Sabidan's swift mood change strikes Rael a bit odd, but at the same time being happy is better than sad. In either case, he is more interested in what is happening now. There seems to be a lull in the combat. Pointing to a held position on Earth, Rael nods in recognition for the gleeful comment. "Then it is time we gave a good test, isn't it?"
Pulling his rod from the sash at his waist, he smiles faintly at it. This ornate handle is the core of his arsenal. With his energy and will, it becomes a mace, sword, scythe, shield, anything he wills it to be. Formed of material very common in Sarra, it is a piece of home he takes with him. This ordinance is fairly innocuous on it's own, but well known to the Celestials as his tool of choice. Rael is ready for an excursion. Leaving the hall where his plans are laid, he moves to the area where portals are made and maintained, determined to go to Earth and begin.

((Ah worst timing ever. I really have to go to bed now, it's nearly 1 and I have to get up at 5:30 tomorrow x_X))
Degial watched as Sabidan and Rael left the realm of the angels into Earth. He would not follow them now. There was much to do. Instead, he had to find his brother and bring him down to the Earth with him. Together, they made an entity, inordinately powerful and strong. It would be ideal to have his brother with him, when they left for earth.
The wind of the movements caused his hair to blow. With a last thought, he reached up and plucked two thin strands of hair, the color of wheat, out of his head. He blew them towards Rael and Sabidan, knowing that it will inspire hope and passion in their quest. He gave them a small smile, a reassurance that he will join them as soon as he was able, knowing that they would know the reason of his lateness.

"Well I... I feel the same way. I must be off now training and what not." Rachdaros walked off. He scratched his head. 'I know that Rael is the ruler of all the light. I am as well very proud to work under him. But the power seems to be going to his head. Some of the demons in the legion were once humnas. If I am correct so were some of the lesser angels. Does this not mean some of them could be converted. And what of the Cambions, they are partially beings of light. They can also join us. And what if we search for a way to only purge the demon side of the half-breeds. I know this must be a stress on the Archangel but still.' Rachdaros was extremley careful not to voice his opioion to anyone while he gave other recruits advice.
