Evelyn Evelyn sha-shayed into the Sanctuary, a giant smile on her face. She twirled around in a circle a few times, giggling, before realizing that she had an audience. Lorika was in the room and had probably seen Evelyn's strange dance. She stopped abruptly, blushing madly. "Lorika! Oh! I'm so sorry! I was just overwhelmed by...well, by the joy of knowing the Overseer still lives in our hearts. I just...couldn't contain it any longer." Evelyn curtsied repetitively multiple times, looking down.

Y'know, I buy all the presents I give out in aquariums.. Lorika glanced around, smiling.
"Good morning, Evelyn. Yes, indeed, the joy of the Overseer makes me fit to burst as well." The hint of sarcasm in her voice was unmistakeable, though perhaps not to such a cheery soul as Evelyn. "Do you have any plans for today, aside from prayers as usual?"
...I have the receipts to prove it.

 Evelyn Lorika’s sarcasm was not lost to Evelyn, but she chose to ignore it. Her hero was talking to her!!! “Well, the thought of approaching Mr. Panda alone quite scares me, so I thought I would wait for Bakar. But other than that, I thought I could just…well, follow you, High Priestess. Find out what exactly it is that you do. It rather fascinates me…” Evelyn grabbed her right wrist behind her back, in an attempt to ease the throbbing. She had sprained it a few days before playing a game with Bakar and had yet to treat it. She curtsied again towards Lorika, hoping that she was showing the right amount of respect. {{OCC: Sorry for disappearing! I just got back from Thanksgiving at my auntie's...}}

Y'know, I buy all the presents I give out in aquariums.. Lorika finished gathering up the candles she'd been collection from the shelf, and turned back in time to catch Evelyn's final curtsey. She smiled kindly, as she often did.
"You look like an Animated jack-in-the-box, all that bobbing up and down."
She approached the younger woman, on course for the hallway and stairwell. "Bakar is a sweet child. I only hope he's not being a bad influence on you - do you have no plans for meditation and training today? ...Though I suppose following me around will be equally as boring, hm?"
Her eyes glinted benignly, and she shifted the candles in the crook of her arm, which had been gradually sliding from her grasp. ...I have the receipts to prove it.

Evelyn Evelyn was not sure if she should take offense to Lorika’s comment, so she chohse to ignore it, smiling. She followed the High Priestess with a slight skip in her step that she couldn’t repress. “Following you is anything but boring, High Priestess! And I have tried to train, but when I went to the Practice Hall, Mr. Panda had disappeared.” Evelyn noticed the candles slipping from Lorika’s grasp and had to stop her self from reaching out grabbing all of them. “Do you need any help with those, High Priestess? And Bakar isn’t that bad of a kid. He’s just…energetic. It’s endearing.” Evelyn realized what she had said and how it may have offended her High Priestess. Her eyes widened in fright. “I’m sorry! I mean, I find it endearing, but, of course, whatever you see it as is what it must be. I’m so very sorry, High Priestess! Please forgive me!”

Angelique, better known as 'Kaos' by most, entered The Sanctuary. She always felt great calm and peace when she did so. It was almost time for prayers, so she wanted to arrive early.
She stopped in her tracks through, when she noticed the High Priestess Lorika, and another girl she's seen before a few times. Angelique barely socialized, since she was really shy around people.

Y'know, I buy all the presents I give out in aquariums.. Lorika remained completely unoffended, as per usual, and watched as the girl struggled to please her with a sense of melancholy more than any other emotion. She almost pitied the girl for being so struck with her. She was, after all, nothing special.
"Oh, I'm sure Panda is around somewhere. He's probably holed up performing some sort of experiment that may or may not result in the entire eradication of the Or-"
A huge boom racked the Temple, and Lorika, jumping in shock, dropped half the candles.
"Overseer preserve us...! What in his name was that?!"
Her shock quickly evaporated as a sense of irony hit her, and she very quickly composed herself, bending to pick up the candles. "Perhaps I was right on the money with my assumption." ...I have the receipts to prove it.

Evelyn At the sound of the explosion, Evelyn paled, fearing an attack from S.I.N. It was a survival technique she learned through the war. Her first thought was to protect the High Priestess, who had dropped her candles. Evelyn was about to jump in front of Lorika, when she realized that there was no possible way an attack could be taking place. They were in hiding, weren’t they? S.I.N. couldn’t have found them.
After hearing Lorika’s explanation, she relaxed. She began helping Lorika pick up the candles, catching sight of a girl entering the sanctuary. She knew the girl looked familiar, and couldn’t help but smiling. She waved to the girl with her good hand, straightening up. “Hello there! You’re name is Angelique, isn’t it?” Evelyn silently applauded herself for remembering the girl’s name. She had a horrible time with remembering such things, but this name stuck out for some reason. Perhaps it was the innocent nature of it…

Angelique yelped when she heard the big explosion. For a moment, she was tempted to take her trident and shield and run outside to protect the Sanctuary from an incoming S.I.N. attack, like back in the war; until she remembered that the war was over. She sighed and placed a hand on her chest. "What in the name of his Clamminess was that?!" she muttered to herself as she glanced at the Sanctuary entrance.
She was distracted from her thoughts though, when the girl she thought was familiar addressed her. The girl even remembered her name, and Angelique felt stupid for not remembering hers. She was so familiar... maybe she was one of her followers... or one of the people who Angelique followed... then again, Angelique followed a LOT of people. "Yes, hello," she said and waved. She walked over to the girl and helped her pick up the candles that the High Priestess had dropped. "I.. um... sorta forgot your name though..." she admitted.

Evelyn Evelyn giggled at the Angelique’s response. “It’s no big deal! I’m surprised I remembered yours! I’m Evelyn. You can call me Evie though, if you want to.”Evelyn hoped her smile looked warm and friendly. This girl seemed like she needed a friend, and Evelyn would love to be that friend.

Angelique smiled at her too. Really, she seemed like a very friendly person. "Nice to meet you, Evie!" she said, with a smile. "You can call me Kaos... Angelique is such a long, boring name," she said. She has never liked her name, it sounded too girly.
She walked over to the High Priestess and gave her the candles she had dropped. "There you go, High Priestess!" She said.

(( omg, it's bedtime you gaiz. Just pretend Lorika went to give a sermon or something to a nearby school of clams. XD edit: uhhh...))
The High Priestess smiled again, accepting the candles from the acolyte. "Thank you very much, and I'm very pleased to see you again. Now, if you'll excuse me I have some preparation and meditation do to before servicing prayers... If you'll excuse me. Evelyn, have fun with your new friend. Don't worry about me."

Evelyn Evelyn handed Lorika the candles she had collected, smiling. She regretted losing Lorika, but wanted to stay with Angelique as she had requested. She waved to the High Priestess as she left before turning back to Angelique. “Nice to meet you too, Kaos! How are you on this day that our great and benevolent Overseer has blessed us with?”

"Oh, Alright High Priestess," she said, and with a slight bow, she watched the Priestess walk away.
She turn turned to face Evie, and smiled slightly. "So, so... just slightly... worried," she admitted. "So, you're an acolyte too?" she asked her, curiously. [[Baiiii Lorika! <3]]

Evelyn “What? An acolyte? Oh, no. I’m a spellcaster. Well, not a very good one. All I can really do is…well, let me show you.”Evelyn closed her eyes and thought of light. It was the only thing she knew, but she knew it would always be her favorite. A sphere of light sprouted from her fingertips and soon grew larger than her palm. She smiled, instantly falling in love with the sphere all over again. [Light] She toyed with the sphere, making it fly around the pair.“And what are you worried about, Kaos?”
