It was hard to rise up with your eyes closed, and so he had to find his hands first, puling them to his side and pushing off. He tittered, before rising. Finding his balance was one thing, and it was good the ground was soft. The threat of falling was there, but was moving away with time. Remi’s hands stood out as his sides as he held his position, waiting for gravity to decide what to do with his body, before he righted himself out and stood on firmer feet.

When Remi got his balance Azzo nodded, but of course that's why he had the chair. So it'd been easier and less likely to fall. But whatever.... "Now then, I'd like you to walk forward, slowly until I tell you to stop."
Azzo walked backwards infront of Remi watching.

Walking was altogether more difficult than standing. Remi couldn’t see the ground and predict where it was, and when he moved, he paused to catch himself before going again. It was robotic at first, with a lot of jerking movements, before he started to become more sure of himself. His pace even started to quicken to the point that if Azzo didn’t say anything, he was going to crash into some chairs.
Wind up Remi. Give the order and watch him go!

Azzo blinked, "Turn left." He said quickly grabbing the chairs and folding them. "Pause please."
He looked at Remi and pondered. What he was going to suggest next would prolly kill him. "I want you to go kiss Melody."
He grinned and ready to follow Remi.

A little bit away, Elke Arma (who looked nothing like Melody except in that they both had tan skin) sat under a tree reading Shakespeare. It went kind of slow, since she was translating from Olde English to New English to French, but it was for a good cause! (Like Elke ever did anything that wasn't for a good cause, but really.) If she was going to help Sebby with his homework, she had to know what she was talking about!
She did have a headache, though, so she closed the book and began to pack up, intending to go sit with Avery or Giselle for a while.

Remi, who never had a good memory with names, and never connected the right one with the right person, stood up and set off in search of HIS version of Melody. Azzo should have know the moment he had to hypnotize the writer into remembering his name that sending him off to find someone was never going ot turn out for the best. Even worse, they had already established that Remi would kiss someone. Either Azzo didn’t believe him or wanted to test it out, Remi was already licking his lips and wondering if he had a mint.
It was only Elke’s poor luck that her tan skin made Remi associate her with the name Melody that the poor walked awkwardly and with half-open eyes over to her. His expression was that of someone who was sleeping and was going to have a nice make-out scene in his dream. With a smile, he approached her and set his hands upon both her shoulders. There was no hello or soft foundling to warn her of his intentions. Straight to he point and straight for the lips, he pressed her into a deep kiss, and not just any kiss. Shakespeare wasn’t the only thing that was being changed into French.

She saw him coming, but unfortunately remained clueless to his intentions until it was Too Late. "Oh hi, Remington," Elke had started to say, which... didn't end well. It took a minute for her to understand he was kissing her. Kissing. Her.
Then she shoved him away, pulled out her book, and hit him over the head with it as hard as she could. In this case, it was very hard. Just for good measure, she whacked him with the book again. "I thought you were a nice guy," she was saying as she wiped her mouth and tried not to cry, "but if you're macking on every single girl you see without even asking for a by your leave clearly you're as bad as Luc and I don't like you anymore."
When she was done beating him up--it was only two hits with a book, really--she put the book away and pulled out her lipstick. With a huff, she set about redoing her makeup; every line in her body was screaming 'you are a jerk and I am not talking to you again'.

Azzo had the OH ******** s**t expression on his face. He was suppose to snap Remi out of that before.. damnit.
"Sorry Elke" He called and ran over ready to get the s**t punched out of him. Had he been quicker her could've ******** tackled the guy. He chuckled, "Heh.... it's my fault..."
He looked at her with those oh my god... "He was suppose to be looking for Melody!" Azzo glared at Remi, "Serves me right for doing that without double checking who he thought was Melody."
Azzo looked at Elke, "If there's anything i can do to make it up to you.... even um stand here and take a few hard smacks with a book if you want... Ugh I'm really sorry, all my other assistants normally flick right out of it."
He was trying to look Apologetic, though how hard he was succeeding was another question.

Kissing didn’t shock Remi out of his hypnosis. A thick edition of the Riverside Shakespeare DID! While Remi was working his lips and trying to find Elke’s tonsils, he was hit right across the head with the book. Hitting the ground, he broke out into a reality filled with white lights and pain. “AHH! WHAT THE HELL?!”
Gripping his skull, he was then hit AGAIN by the book and failed, hands out and trying to keep any further pummeling at bay. While Elke stopped, Remi kicked back and scooted away, holding his head and scrambling a few feet off as he collected his bearings. His dignity however had been left back near the chairs and the writer turned over and started to roll on the ground, holding his head and hissing through his teeth. Pain was not something he experienced every day, and he made a show out of a paper cut. “I’m gonna die! I think I have internal bleeding!!! Quick, call 911!”
While Elke and Azzo talked, Remi cried out for medical assistance.

"Azzo," said Elke darkly, who very suddenly felt rather sorry for poor Remi. Presumably he was still a nice guy. She'd give him the benefit of the doubt. As for the stupid hypnotist prodigy--Elke hefted her book and hit him with it, too, right across the face.
Luckily there were no teachers around. Papa and Maman would be so sad to hear that their little girl was beating up rapists with her copy of Shakespeare. That was why they had given her Mace, except she hadn't thought she'd ever need it. A big book was a good enough weapon. She knew this now. Maybe she'd bring Shakespeare with her on most of her explorations. "You better never ever pull that kiss thing again," she informed Azzo. "It isn't right to molest girls, you know it isn't if you're smart enough to be here."
She looked down at Remi and knelt next to him, yanking on a lock of his hair with a Very Serious Face. "I only hit you twice," she said sourly.

Azzo looked at her, and winced as the book hit however he was no where near making the fuss Remi was. "He was suppose to snap out of it." He reassured her. "It's never gone wrong...."
He looked at Remi and sighed, "She's right, at least it wasn't a sword or something trying to eat you."
He had this 'well I never' look on his face, he was still thinking. "Fine how about Friday I take us out to eat, Mel included since she was suppose to be the victim here..."
He watched them both, he wanted to smack Remi a few times himself, see if he couldn't start remembering names a bit better with a few more blows to the head.

It seemed that sympathy was in short supply around these parts, and Remi gave up, laying on the ground with his hands out. “It still hurt. I could have had a concussion.” Shakespeare had always done a number to his head, but now it caused one headache he would never forget.
Quick to recover, he sat up and looked about, glaring swords and maces at the hypnotist he had entrusted to only do basic tests. “You said you were just going to make me walk around. What kind of friend sends a guy off to kiss some chick without warning him first? I already TOLD you I would probably do it. I mean, look!” He held his hands out to Elke, displaying her as the hot new item of the year. Any boy given the chance to pucker up to pretty cupcake that was Elke would do so, especially at Remi’s age. That and he was sort of in a dry spell in the love department.
“You know, just because YOU have a date doesn’t mean you have to go around making my life hell.” He rose up, patting off his pants as if they hadn’t been dirty to start off with. “Azzo, you’re a d**k. If you want to send guys off to make out with other girls, just do us all a favor and read porn in your room like normal people.”
Turning to Elke, he gave his most innocent and deeply pained expression that he hoped would leave her thinking he was still a great guy. “I hope you know, this was all his fault. I would never kiss you. I MEAN, like that and all. Unless you gave your full consent.” There was no hoping to try and talk to the girl now after this whole incident, and he could only hope that word didn’t spread that he was jumping girls out of the blue.
“Laters, expect for you, Azzo. No Laters EVER.” With that, Azzo’s ex-assistant marched off towards the dormitory building, trying to force his memory to give him a glimmer of what kissing Elke was like.

"You should try different tests," she emphasized. She was very, very unhappy but at least he'd know better than to do something dumb and mean like make someone kiss someone else if they didn't want to or couldn't say no. Right?
Elke shook her head, frowning. "I'm going to the movies with my boyfriend," she said. "So you can go with Melody, IDC." She put away her edition of Shakespeare and gave Azzo an affronted look. It looked like she wanted to say something else, but instead she said in a passable imitation of her normal Elke cheerfulness, "See you."

"Fine..." Azzo watched as she left to... his mood slowly became rather gloomy as he went to pick up his stuff and walked back to his room. whatever.... it had to be done, I needed to see if it was cursed... obviously it is...
He gave a sigh as he reached his door and went inside trying to figure out something he could do to give his place a little more pep. He'd lost an assistant and a friend apparently. Remi'll get over it... I'll just have to go bother him again.
