"Yeah, Zee, why don't you tell me now?" Stasia said, her tone sugary sweet as she crossed her arms, smiling at him. Not a good sign. "And that would be appreciated. Thank you, Averi." she said, just oh-so-politely. Poor Zee. He was in for an earful.
Ae smiled, cooing and babbling as cutely as she could. Ah...he had power. She could almost taste it, and she hadn't even started feeding yet. She gripped his hand as firmly as she could...which meant she held his hand loosely. She gave a contented sigh as she "nibbled" at his energy. Yummy.

Averi went to go sit on the bench Zee had been sitting on just a few moments before. He watched the couple eagerly, as he had done several times when Zee and Thali had argued. He loved trouble. Especially romantic trouble. He kept his word though, he made sure all the children were in his sight.
Zee could sense danger from a mile off; and Stasia wasn't more than a few feet away. "Look Stasia--I was planning on telling you. I was... I was waiting for the right time. I didn't think now would be the best, because of the new baby and all..." Besides, was he supposed to read her mind? How should he have known that Stasia was curious about his past? She had never asked about it.
Howl was getting tired; though he didn't know why. He had already taken a nap. He leaned against the stroller. "I thleepy, baby," he said, yawning.
