I definitely believe in them.

I slipped in the shower once. I actually saw my feet come completely off the ground. Then I felt something grab me under the arms and it set me back on my feet.

[this one is probably just luck but it came to mind so....] When I was like 10 I was at the very top of a tree. I fell and somehow I caught hold of a branch to slow myself down. Then I kind of 'floated' to the ground.

Sky Blue Faerie
Instead I bounced off and slammed back into the face again. I am firmly convinced that some one pushed the car away from the cliff. Some one pushed me back into the mountain face and saved my life.

Something like that happened to me, too. My boyfriend at the time was driving and he took a corner too fast on an icy road. The truck went in to a spin and should have gone off of the road. We hit something that kept us from going off of the edge. When we got out to see what he hit there was nothing there. No trees, rocks, mounds of dirt...nothing. The dent looked like a foot print. The funny thing is that I wasn't scared when we were spinning out of control. I knew I would be alright.

Why must we be alone?

I don't know whether or not I have one. I like to think that I do. When I was 16 I was diagnosed with a chronic condition. A month after my diagnoses my disease flared up and I got really sick. The first day that I was really sick, the first day I stayed home from school, my mom told me that my grandma had died.(She was very close family friend that was like a grandma to me.) After I recovered from my flare up, in December, I kept noticing that sometimes, when I would be in bed ready to go to sleep, I would feel a slight pressure on the quilt and this breeze like thing fluttering over the top of it near my feet. It happened sporadically, never every night. It used to scare me, but now, it is comforting to me every time it happens. I like to think that it is my grandma watching over me, and protecting me. What is really odd, is if I have had a bad day or I am hurt or something like that, I will feel it.
Well it's real love...

Thanks. It used to scare me at first, but now, it is comforting. Anyone know of anyway to contact them?

I had a similar experience. My best friend died when I was about 8. and a few weeks late I was in a pool with my brother when he jumped on me (I didn't know how to swim, I didn't have the desire to after my best friend drowned.) and I stayed under and I remember looking up and the sky was pink and then I heard the words "Told you I'm your angel", and it was in Ryder's voice (Ryder = best friend) and then I just floated up right after I heard that.

So yes I do believe in them because he's the reason why I'm still here on multiple other occasions then just that one my mom has also saw her's at the edge of her bed. So they must exist =)

Gender of guardian angels is very questionable. If you think its a guy, he probably is. I believe that they are matched according to wavelengths, so that they can respond and protect you with...efficiency, I guess? I recently succeeded in making contact with my guardian angel, and I am so glad that I have. His name is Rhys (said Reese), and he died in WW2. It was really not that difficult to make contact.

Try meditating and calling him to you. If you have the right amount of concentration, he'll come, and the relationship between you can expand.

They can also walk as people for a short amount of time, so don't assume it was always just a stranger that saved you. I was pulled out from in front of a car by a man in his mid-20s a couple of years ago. When we made eye contact, I could tell that he was actually my guardian angel. that was my first direct contact with him. If it's them, you'll know. Trust me.

Nothing's happened to me at all. Does that mean my guardian's uber-efficient or something or are people just scared of a seven-foot Native American glowering at them over a short pasty kid's head?

I think your angel knows what it's doing. Almost everyone I've ever talked to has had a close to death experience. If you have not experienced this, then I bet he was a planner in his life, so he knows how to prevent, instead of swooping in like a hero to pull you from danger at the last second. Feel lucky that you feel safe as you are.

As a Catholic, I was raised to believe in guardian angels and even worked in a prebedtime prayer for them to watch over me. 3nodding I never saw or spoke to my guardian angel, but when I first started to drive I got into some minor accidents that could have been deadly if things were a teeny bit different. So I always never drive faster than my angel can fly.

Well its obvious! If you haven't had a near death experience your angel must be really careful of you. Or it probably thinks you have an important meaning in life!
