-Ughhhh the pavement hurt like crazy!! She'd had her share of falls iceskating and dancing.. but the kind of damage, let alone bumps and bruises, she got as a senshi was leagues above any of those petty real life injuries. Her hips and back throbbed with pain and like usual, she was incredibly thankful for the fact that her outfit covered most of her tender flesh.
Moaning softly, she attempted to push herself upwards, listening to the promising sound of pained and/or surprised youma yelps. The dots before her eyes stopped swimming, she spotted Magellen going in again for an attack, good girl!, with a stick however.. Hopefully it wouldn't just shatter on her.
The youma looked like it was in pretty miserable shape and pretty freaking angry too. Standing, she wobbled a few steps, trying to spot some sharp, or big enough to cause a nice wallop once she could unleash her attack again. And then she saw it, at the edge of the alleyway, if she could just get it off the pole it'd be a magnificent hexagonal frisbie of death. She'd lifted a car once.. with the help of Mili.. surely she could do this if she focused on it.-
"You might want to watch out" -She yelled as she planted herself near the stop sign.-

Giving the youma another sound whack on the head, noting with grim satisfaction that it appeared to be stunned, she glanced over at Polaris and saw what she was attempting. Abandoning her branch, which was getting heavy anyway, she half-jogged over, trying to ignore the pain in her back as she did.
"Here!" Reaching for the stop sign, she pulled on it with all the strength she had, determined to get it loose. Her goal was to pick it up and fling it herself, as she still didn't quite trust the senshi to do the thing right even with a decent weapon, but as with most of her plans, it didn't quite go as she'd hoped.
With a mighty tug, she managed to get the sign free, but the force of the action sent her toppling back again. Worse, she could hear the youma stirring again, and there was blood blooming on the fingers of her gloves where she'd cut herself with the sign.
Pointing, helpless to do much else, she shouted, "Throw the thing already!" even though it cost her pride as she did. At this point, Magellan was going to be lucky to walk away from the battle - if it meant Polaris got the finishing attack, well, so be it.
Gritting her teeth, she closed her eyes, no longer able to ignore the pain all over her body as easily as she had been.

-Polaris' eyes widened in surprise as Magellan jumped at her proposed weapon, trying to yank it brutally from the sign post, ending up with a nice splattering of blood for her efforts. What a total brute! She hoped she was okay.. but really..- "Please try to think BEFORE you act" -She stated, unable to stop herself from the bit of chiding before she took the metal sign in her hand holding it like a platter.
The other senshi didn't have to ask again. As soon as the words of the attack left her lips, the metal disk soared from her hand, slicing and disapearing deep into the dark youma monster. It writhed and screamed, but it was only for a moment. Blackness billowed from the wound and then suddenly POOF! Youma dusted. The streets suddenly silent once again other than the sound of panting girls.
She exhaled a sigh of relief, knowing soon enough that the adreniline of the battle would leave her behind, leaving only the pain of being beaten around. Better to be home or almost home by then. Walk/limping over to the Sailor in pastel frills, she offered a hand softly, leaning in to try and get a look at her blood soaked gloves.- "We did it!"
"Do you need help getting home?"

From her uncomfortable seat on the ground, Magellan watched the youma be dusted, and she breathed a sigh of weary relief. The relief was short-lived, however, as she was actually scolded by the other senshi. She was sitting there, cuts in her fingers and blood on her hands, the very reason Polaris had even been able to throw the damn sign in the first place, and she was being scolded?
Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.
She smacked the other girl's hand away, expression bad-tempered as she struggled to her feet herself. "We did it, no thanks to you kicking the thing and then taking forever to get the sign loose."
She ached, everywhere. But there was righteous irritation in her face when she pointed one bloodstained glove in Polaris' face. "If I'd left it up to you, we'd both be getting our legs eaten of by that thing, because you'd still be trying to rip it free. So I think a thank you is in order, not some think before you act."
Her voice was all but vibrating with annoyance, and she shifted her weight, trying to find a way to stand that wasn't heinously uncomfortable. "Because it's obvious I was the only one thinking fast enough to get us out of here alive."
Fair? Probably not. True? Maybe only slightly.
Magellan didn't care in the least.

"Ummm... it was only held on by a few METAL rivots" -She spit back, with more venom then she might have liked to on a normal occassion, taken aback by the sudden 'attack'. One fist planting firmly against her hip, she added with a frump.- "I'm pretty sure they would have gone with it. I mean, I've moved a freaking car before. Pretty sure I can handle a stop sign."
-She was looking for partners and all.. but hell. Did she even WANT to pair up with such a brat? Insult after insult. Her teeth grinded lightly, releasing a sigh finally.
Even dealing with an insult throwing, egotistical brat was better then getting KILLED the next time she ran into the Negaverse. Partnering up for the sake of the princess was key. And besides... manners had the possibility of being cultivated. She'd just have to go out of her way to do it.-
"I'm sorry you got hurt. I'll try to do better next time" -She offered finally, sincerely, though it certainly wasn't the thank you that the other girl had been looking for.-

A little mollified by the admission that she'd try harder next time, Magellan adjusted the line of her skirt, still obviously and mostly in poor humor. Her hands hurt like nothing else, her whole body ached, and she was just ready to go home. Though it was one more youma off the street, it hadn't exactly been handled elegantly, and she was beginning to wonder if she'd ever really get good at the whole youma-dusting business. Almost as soon as she thought it, she dismissed it -- duh she'd get better, she was Daniela Rymner underneath the magical glamor -- but sometimes it just didn't really feel like it.
"See that you do," she finally said, sounding a lot more cross than she wanted to. Without anything else to do, she looked around, then added, "I'm going home."
Giving the other girl one final look, she grudgingly offered her hand for a shake, forgetting the blood all over her fingers. "Well. Next time, then."

-Well, she didn't want her help. Which was fine, since it seemed she'd somehow wrangled out what she'd wanted the whole time. An invitation for 'next time'.
Her fingers were tender and brief around the injured hand, nodding softly, as she lifted her fingers in a mild salute.- "See you again Sailor Magellan"
-Hand planted delicately on her side, she tried to dull the ache of her steps with pressure. She wouldn't be getting anywhere super fast. Bleh... why did Crystal Academy have to be so far away?-
