Zane suddenly appeared behind Yuudai and rested his head upon his shoulder. "Dude, women are weird," he whipsered in his ear as he took his head off and suddenly appeared beside Rein once more. "Anyways, have you heard that they're going to picking the new Kage soon!?" he asked. The fact of the matter is, he was offered the position as Kage of Suna. But being the type of shinobi that he was....lazy...he politely turned it down but agreed to staying behind as a saanin to help the village grow.

Yuudai rolled his neck once again it started to bother him a little bit but nothing serious. “Yes I did I wonder who they will pick for the job. I heard you were a strong candidate what do you think about that?” He asked then sort of spaced out thinking of how the village would be if Zane ran it.

Rein quirked an eyebrow at Zane's whispering in Yuu's ear, but ignored it. What concerned her more was how Yuudai rolled his neck. She wondered why these people who have medical problems don't come to the medical center like they should. First she listened about Zane's being offered the spot of Kazekage before speaking. "Yo...you need me to look at that?" Even when she was off duty, she was never off duty.

"Yeah I was...though the council were against it, I was personally trained by the Kazekage himself. Being originally a Mist shinobi, the council were suspicious of my intentions," he sighed as he pouted. He had a mouthful to hear from the old farts that ran the councel and frankly he was sick of hearing it, which played a part in why he turned down the job.

Yuudai snapped back into reality and then looked at Zane. “Well if it is any consolations I think you would have made a good Kage. Well at least for the most part.” He said in a teasing tone. Then Yuudai turned to Rein and looked a little surprised at the question then remembered she was a very high medical ninja. “No thanks I am good I think I just slept on it wrong it should be good tomorrow” He said stretching his neck to one side and then rubbed his neck a little bit. “I just got a new mattress and it isn’t broken in yet so we will see if it gets better.” He said hoping she would just stop asking about it because he hated going to the hospital or even getting anything fixed by a medical ninja.

She nodded slowly, completely forgetting her previous embarrassment for the moment. "Alright, well let me know if doesn't get better." She figured she'd leave that line of questioning alone as he was an experienced shinobi and would know when he needed medical attention. Rein turned to Zane now. "Of course you would have made a fine kage, to be sure. It should be enough for them that the last kage trusted you." She glanced around at the passersby as they talked. "I wonder who the next candidate will be, though..."

"Aww...thanks!" Zane exclaimed as he began pondering on this. "I'm not sure. Hopefully though whoever it is will be able to deal with the rising threat...reports from shinobis are saying that the tailed beasts that have been lying dormant are now starting to rise. A sandstorm may be coming our way...and soon!" Zane told them as he had been keeping an eye on the growing threat of natural disasters that have been hitting several different countries.

"That’s horrible what will happen if it one gets into our village. We are at a week point because we don’t have a kage." Yuudai said as he began to look around. He focused back on Zane and asked. “How are our tensions with other villages right now? We might need some to back us up incase some of the tailed beasts start to destroy our village.” He said as even though this place was hot and horrible he still didn’t think these people should get hurt. Yuudai then took another drink of his water, and swished it around, it sounded as if he was about half way through.

Rein took a deep breath and sighed. "Yeah, I've been hearing about that. I don't think they will pick anyone who isn't capable. I suppose that I should be thankful that the only person I really have to treat is Akura each week..." She smirked over at Akura now for a moment. "...if this storms hits or a demon..." Rein thought of how she'd been sensing a growing power in the desert. The thought troubled her, but she'd keep it to herself unless she felt that it was a threat. Everyone already heard about the disasters and possible demon sightings. "...I could definately have my work cut out for me. Rest assured, Yuudai, I have my Eye on the desert. If anything as strong as a demon gets close, I'll know before it gets close. I just hope that we have an established kage before that happens. Having an allied village would certainly be helpful..."

"Actually....the current Mizukage is my best friend...Luo Ushio. We were squadmates when I used to be a Kiri Shinobi. So if anything, Suna always has Kiri to rely on, but Suna's been the type of village that does not like t rely on outside forces. They trust no one," he explained to them as he remembers the Councel's wording of it. "Regardless, I doubt anything will happen anytime soon, we'll be fine...trust me!" Zane grinned as he gave them a thumbs up.

“Also we do have a very elite shinobi to protect the village.” Yuudai said looking around to most of the upper ninjas in the village. “Ok.” Yuudai said with a sigh of relief. “I was mainly worried about one of the beasts coming for us in a surprise attack was it could cause the most casualties, and do the most destruction.” He said now looking around at the shops which did not exactly feel awesome on his neck. He looked at the shop that they were all standing by. “Rein I mean what would you do if the beast destroyed the shop? You have to be prepared so you can defend it right?” He said with a laugh.

She nodded in approval. "That's good to hear, though I know what you mean about the council...so stubborn." Then she stared blankly at Yuu, remembering her old embarrassment suddenly. She gave a short laugh as she reddened slightly. "You guys are never going to let me live this down, are you?"

(DOUBLE NICE!)
"You shouldn't be ashamed of what you like," Zane pointed out as he laughed childishly. "So Yun...have you seen what's face around? You know, the OTHER saanin," he asked curiously wondering where he was.

"Cody? No not lately he was supposed to train me a while ago though, but he had to cancel for some reason." Yuudai just had a flashback of all the things they did together. Yuudai thought of Cody like a big brother and wanted to be a lot like him when he got older. “The only guess I would have would be him taking another trip to the leaf village to look at the uchiha clans messages he has been almost consumed by his sharingan lately.” He said thinking of what that must feel like as his hand slowly went up to his face to cover his right eye.

She gave a heavy sigh and glanced off in some other direction away from the men. Seeing a less promiscuous stand--a food stand--she wandered over to get herself something to eat and to let the guys chat for a bit...before she punched one of them in the face.
