rice and corn bread is usually pretty nice. I made red beans and rice a few days ago with some chicken and sausage gumbo.

I haven't even started cooking yet.
I've been stalking people on Facebook for a good hour now.

I've been out all day. I'm going to order a damn pizza. I'm too cold and tired to make anything. I wish I had a beer though.

I just discovered, out of sheer hungry boredom, that rice cooked in (jasmine) green tea with sugar is really really good. I'm not sure where the hell ideas like cooking rice in tea come into my head from, but there you go. Maybe the fact that I'm too lazy to go shopping for anything fresh and have to somehow make the dry foods in my cupboard appealing.

Hmm, I wonder if jasmine rice and green tea has the same flavour as rice and jasmine green tea? There would be a pointless experiment.
My flat still consider the fact that I cook soup from scratch a novelty, and 'don't get lentils'. x_x Also, today, one girl was cooking chicken from a packet, with sauce from a packet, a spice mix from a jar, and tortilla wraps from a packet and going on about how she was proud to be cooking stuff from scratch, and it was the most real cooking she'd done all week. sweatdrop

I am so win at vegan desserts and sweets. I should maybe force myself to work on mains because I'm always tempted to try veganism, buuut I don't think I can live my whole life on cupcakes and chickpea curry, tempting as it is.

I went to this place downtown called Little Nepal. smile It was delicious. Then my friend who I went with accidentally spelled it funny on facebook. I was like "Little Napalm is not tasty, dear" We had a good time, and the curry was damningly amazing.

Every time I look at this damned thread, I'm hungry. You guys are bad influences. I'm such a fatass because of you guys. I'm going on Dr.Phil and exploiting my problem to the world. I hope you're all happy. I'm going to go eat some more New England Clam Chowder.

"How do you make tomato soup? Do you use tomatoes?"
No, I use ******** apples and blood and pray to Demeter or something to transform it as she will.

Tomatoes seem like a key ingredient. I mean, I'm not a master chef, but it seems like it.
