Both of the horses gazes were now outward, out over the plains as the rain poured down on the eager grass that yearned for the precious life source. The sun was dim behind the clouds but broke through the nearly opaque white objects. As his voice broke the silence of the raindrops falling onto the ground and the leaves of the tree above them, she turned her head, her dark eyes frowning slightly. What did he mean that he couldn't offer more shelter? Did he feel the need to protect her or something? She was somewhat touched by it but once the small comment left his lips and the light laugh echoed through the air, her head turned back out to gaze out.
"No...I'm not dehydrated." She offered a small smile even though she found it less funny then he did. Why did he even find that slightly amusing? Maybe they had different thoughts on the whole situation. But she was glad he was loosing up around but he never seemed too tense. Why this was, she had not a slightest clue. Maybe she wasn't being mean enough for him to silence himself? But why bother? He hadn't done anything or said anything that she saw as a threat or a insult. So she shook it off and lowered her head to the ground, sniffing the grass lightly before slightly raising her head.
"The rain makes all the creatures around here so happy...." She mummered, her thoughts coming out loud on accident. But she really could care less.

Khajag's eyes danced upon all the tiny droplets falling off of tips of the branches that sheltered them fall on the ground. It didn't surprise him when one droplet would find its way through the maze of branches and land on his already cool body. The stallion was lightly shivering to try and regain his body heat that the rain and cold winds stole from him.
The stallion looked over to the mare with a light smile on his face. He was happily content with his current situation. "Alright." He said. "I don't think I would know what was giving you a headache. I do thought have a friend we can visit if you do need some medicine for it." He said with a smile.
He turned his gaze back outside. His eyes went up to look up to the sky, and saw the sun peek through the cloud cover, lightening up the gray skies. "Mmn.. I think it really depends on the soquili to soquili..." He said softly. "Some soquili can find the sound of rain soothing and relaxing, some like playing in the rain, some love the fact that it replenishes the earth, and thus thankful for it." He said. "While some hate the rain because it gets them wet and dirty." He said outloud, allowing some of his thoughts outside of his head.

"Just stress maybe...." Arcadia mummered more to herself then Khajag. Why bother. Her life was none of his business. But that idea of visiting the medic would be wonderful. She had always been fascinated with meeting horses that had healing abilities. That was one thing she was not jealous of. More...of she looked up to that horse, whoever they may be. But human's were a different story. She hated two-leggers with a passion and that wasn't going to change until she had no strength left in her and she falls to the ground with out a breath in her. But that was because of her father. He hated human's just as much as she hated her mother but that was normal in the family. Hate, fighting, jealousy, lust. Everything was everybodys in her families herd. Maybe that's why she left. For something more...But who knows.
Her ears turned forward as she listened to his words and could see the meaning behind them clearly. So, he was one of those stallions. She snorted lightly and cocked her head to the side as she looked at him. "Like me?" She cocked a brow, an amused but inquiring look on her face. She knew the answer because she had been complaining about the whole thing but she actually loved the rain. She just liked staying clean just to look nice. Yes, she thought this but underneath this b***h shell was an insecure brat, so to say.

Khajag blinked and looked over to the smaller mare. What did she say? She said it too quietly for him to actually hear it. His ears twitched, straining to listen to her in case she said anything else. "W-What was that?" He said softly, kind of embarrassed to ask her to repeat herself. "Were you talking to me?" He asked, not sure if she just thought something out loud. Of course, he knew how that felt.
The stallion was looking at the mare already. When she looked to him, he looked confused for a slight moment wondering what she meant by that. Then he looked at her innocently. "Like you how?" He said, thinking back to what he said. "If you mean about others hating the rain, I was not speaking specifically about you. I don't even know that about you to say that." He said softly, wondering if he offended her. He was starting to feel the bubbling feeling of doing something bad. "I-I just think there's just a lot of differing preferences when it comes to the subject of rain, so generalizations usually don't seem right." He said, not sure what he was exactly wanted to prove. "I mean.. It would make me happy if everyone appreciated the rain." He said softly, rambling on, feeling guilty.

The blank, confused look she got in return was something that Arcadia expected. Of course he would play stupid when he just plan as day mocked or ridiculed her choice in keeping clean from the mud. So what. She was a female she had a right to vanity and all that jazz. So she raised her head high, raising an eyebrow at the male with a look of question. As he spoke saying he didn't mean it to her, she snorted softly and turned her head away with a shake. Of course he didn't mean it like that. She listened to his babbling and sighed lightly, lowering her head for a moment.
"Whatever....." She grumbled, the wind pushing the rain into under the tree. She stepped back, her hide twitching from the cold water touching her thin coat of hair. She glanced up the sky, seeing the rain was going to recead for a long time. She glanced at Khajag then back out.
"Looks like we have a bit to wait..."

Khajag was silent for a moment, stuck in his thoughts. He was still worried about offending her, and still wanted to plead for her forgiveness. From what he could tell, she would be annoyed like she had been with him earlier when he tried to push the issue of her headache further.
The stallion was brought out of his musings when he hear her mumble again. Of course, just because it was a whisper, made him try and listen all the more harder. His eyes were bright, and curious at they gazed over to her as she looked out. His eyes followed her line of sight and looked out to examine the clouds.
"It appears that way." He said, softly. His mane was now completely dry, and his tail was still in the process of drying because it was tried up at the end. "What should we do?" He wondered, quietly listening to the soothing sound of rain.

"What to do? Hell, I don't know. If I was a foal I would go play but childish acts are something that is immature." Oh how she wished to be a colt again, just to run and be free despite her parents disagreements. Shifting her footing, her tail swished and she peered over at him with a curious look before sighing lightly. "Why must we do something but watch the sky cries tears?" She stated, raising a brow at him before peering up at the tree branches above her and him as the water splashed down from the canopy overhead.

Khajag looked over to Arcadia again, his eyes hiding a bit underneath his wet bangs, almost blending into the teal-tipped bangs. The stallion lightly smiled, moving his gaze away from the soft green mare. "That does not sound like a bad idea." He said softly. "But, what exactly would make them immature?" He asked, turning his gaze to peek over to her, before returning his gaze to the gray clouds above.
The stallion flicked his head to the right, sending his hair to sweep one way as it continued to dry and yet get re-wetted with the rain falling through the branches occasionally. "To pass the time, or just to deal with the inevitable." He said with a light laugh, and his cheeks burned with a light blush feeling odd about being more free about his own personality. "I'm already partially wet and a bit cold, why not try to make it more fun?" He shrugged his shoulders lightly. "We don't need to do anything. I would not want to force you to do anything you don't want to do. I suppose the last option would be keeping your company, and vice versa." He said with a light quirk of his brow. "... Unless you would prefer to be alone at the moment." He said softly, his gaze falling down to the ground, watching as the water collected as puddles in the soil and grass in some areas.

Arcadia could feel the gaze of the other horse on her and she couldn't help but sigh lightly, flickering the pale green bang out of her face before lowering her head. At his question, her brows pulled together thinking about what he had said. What would make them immature? "The fact that two adult horses act as if they have the mind of child. That is immature. Prancing like you have no care in the world when you do. Why let that hide the truth from what you need to remember?" Sighing lightly, she shook her head slightly, strands of hair falling down to brush the pale green fur that lined her skin.
Rasing her head up once more, she peered at him from behind the bangs, silence covering her as she searched his expression as the stallion let out a light laugh. The inevitable? With a slight tilt of the head she soon realized she had been looking too long for her comfort but she was strangely curiously about the male. Hiding something he was, but what she had not a idea. Fun? What was fun about being cold and wet. She felt slightly bad that he was cold but she glanced back out at the plans that surrounded the small patch of trees as the rain poured down. Listening to his words, her ears shifted towards him as he spoke of company. Company for one another. Would it better then standing alone miserable in the cold? She supposed so. Snorting lightly, she shook her head. "I don't care if you stay or you go-" She paused before adding quickly "-but it's cold out there and it would suck if you got sick because of me."

Khajag half-listening to Arcadia as he looked out to the gray clouds above them, waiting for her to reply. He wondered why they were gray instead of white, like the normal clouds that loomed in the sky when it was sunny. His ears twitched, bring him out of his thoughts. "A mind of a child isn't so bad. It's devoid from the bad things that dilute us, and closes us off to the world." He said softly with a light smile. "As an adult, don't you wish to get away from your troubles? Just even for a little bit?" His teal eyes once again looked to the spring green mare beside him. "Would you not feel a little more freer if you could just pretend there is nothing wrong, if just for a little bit?" He said with a shrug. "I see nothing wrong with it. I think its just a way of cooping for those adults that need it."
He paused for a moment, and blinked. Silence took over the stallion before he spoke again. "Have you ever wished to be a kid again?" He asked in a curious tone. "I know I have. I miss my mother, and being cared for. I miss being able to play, and have no worry about danger or having to find food, because I would have my mother there. I miss the freedom of my thoughts, and how imaginative I could be.." He said softly, letting his thoughts roll off his tongue. He then blushed, realizing what he had just said. The stallion was worried he would judge her harshly, and did not mean to be so free with her.
The stallion smiled at her with a hint of shyness behind the smile. "I appreciate your concern." He said in the same soft tone he has been using, but unless there's going to be a temperature spike, I don't think I'll get sick. There have been days where I traveled nonstop in the rain, even when I was a colt. To travel on the mountains where there was dirt and rain left the possibility of a mudslide, and my mother did not want me to get lost in the circumstance that a mudslide does occur." His gaze still was on her, his bashfulness kicked in to avert his gaze to something. "If I truly am a bother, I will not mind if you think so."

At his question, her hard gaze fell on him. Did she wish to be a colt again? No, she did not. What she had experienced when she was younger had brought her to be what she was to this day and she was strong. To be free, that was something else but nothing is free and never will be for everything is like a chain reaction causing things to happen down the line. If she thought like a colt, acted like a colt, then wouldn't that make her a colt? No, she was a mare. A strong grown mare. Right? Frowning slightly, her eyes moved down to the ground and she shuffled her feet softly before moving the eyes back to him as he spoke of his travels with the rain. So he was used to this ickiness? Her mind reeled before a spot of ice cold water landed on her nose causing her to shake her head. She hated the cold. Shuddering, she glanced back at him then down slightly before sighing. "No, no. No bother. Though your giving me a headache." She muttered which was partially true. He had got her thinking and that wasn't something she enjoyed most of the time. Being inside her head was like facing the fear of drowning in thoughts. And she really did. "On your question, no. I would never dream of going back to where I was and what I was. Weak more so then ever and was penalized for it. But I grew from it and I am here now, a adult with the ability to make her own decisions and thoughts without the permission of the parents." She spat the word with distaste, like a sour taste on her tongue. The parents she had where creatures from hell, or so she like to think, but never the less her distaste in them grew deep over the years after leaving home.

Khajag was left with silence after letting his thoughts run free from his mouth. His eyes peered up to the mare to see how she was fairing. It appeared to him that she was deep in thought, and he could only speculate what she was thinking. From what he could tell, she did not seem to agree with his line of thoughts, but maybe it was because she was raised differently that himself. She seemed like a prim and proper kind of mare.
Hearing her speak again, his attention shifted to listening to what she was saying. He frowned a bit. “Am I? I’m sorry. I r-really didn’t mean it.” He said softly, feeling bad for causing the mare pain. Maybe he should stop being so inquisitive, and let the mare open up on her own pace. Her voice brought him back to her again, as he carefully listened to what she was telling him. He was right in his earlier thoughts. She did not have a similar and pleasant past like he did, but he would never expect her to have the same past as him. It was only a hope that all foals shared a happy, and developing background.
The stallion just observed the mare. “I can see why you would think that way.” He nodded his head. “But, you did turn out to be a wonderful mare from what I can tell.” He said in an honest tone, smiling lightly at her.
