Nova ran over to Alexia and picked her up "Alexia, are you alright?" He asked worried, hoping she wasn't hurt or anything and started to help her up "you sure you don't want food first?" Nova suggested, thinking it may er...help with concintration a bit more?

Alexia sighed, realizing how stupid she looked, "Yeah...maybe we should eat first..." she said, feeling a bit sad. She took one step back towards the picnic, before wincing, "I think I sprained my ankle..."

Nova picked Alexia up in his arms and walked over to where the lake was and gently put her down and placed her foot into the water "I know it isnt great but that should help a little to keep the swelling to a minimum" he said as he picked up the basket and placed it next to her "will you be alright for a few moments? I will just run home and get something to help with that ankle and maybe someone to help bring you back to your place? So you can rest it, I won't be away long, I promise" he said knowing that the first twenty four to forty eight hours is good resting time and hoping she wouldbe alright.

Alexia was about to profess that she was fine, but Nova had already run off. Sighing, she looked out onto the lake, "I feel so useless...here's this wonderful guy who's sweet and fun and willing to take care of me...and I can't even show how much that means to me."

"Do you know Nova is gay?" A voice came from behind her, Bella had been sleeping up in a near by tree ever since this morning, she had always found sleeping up in trees comfy and today was no different, she had wanted to leave that 'eevee' friend of hers alone for a bit, she wanted to read and Bella, she wanted to just be the nice friend who wouldn't disturb her for a bit "alright, that is wrong, he isn't gay but bisexual" she said as she walked up and sat down next to Alexia "hi, im Belladonna, Bella for short and if you want to make any connection with him you are going to have to try harder then you are now, he is set in his 'neutral' ways, he wants to be with someone but, right now, he isn't sure if it is male or woman. Nova is friends with you sure and it is obvious he likes to cuddle and shop which he just thinks is a 'friends' thing to do but to actually BE with him in heart, mind and soul you are going to have to try harder. Nova cares about you but only as a friend, he doesn't know what he wants and as a woman, you are going to have to show him why he should be more with you, it is hard, I won't deny that, an audio at home fell for him as soon as she laid eyes on him but she had a defeatist attitude, granted he is doing to you what he did to her, the cuddling and the shopping and looking like he wanted more but didn't really which, in the end, is exactly what happened, he ended up just being friends with her and she had her heart broken but understood. You on the other hand, if you like him then do more then what she did though not so in your face about it, he is going to be REALLY hard to crack but in the end it will work out in your favor, take things slow and not just assume this is like a normal guy you are wanting to date because that won't work, given he likes both males and females he is going to need more then flirtation tactics and a bat or two of the eye lashes, you are going to need to think outside the box on this one."
Bella jumped into the cool water and swam around a bit before treading water and just looked up at her and smiled "I know it will be hard but if anyone can do it, it can be you, I can't really say what his likes and dislikes are, all I know about him from living with him for so long is that he likes cuddles and shopping, he keeps to himself most of the time so not much is known about him, Lenore, of course, knows the most, she found him and they have this special bond thatLenore has with all her audios but she isn't about to say anything, she keeps whatever we tell her a secret, doesn't breath a word to anyone unless the Audio allows her too so you have your work cut out for you" she said smiling at the other before diving down to the bottom of the lake and resurfacing moments later.

Alexia blinked, this girl had show up out of nowhere, and just dictated more about Nova than she could ever find out about him. Sighing a bit, she rested her head on her knees, "Maybe I should take things slow...I feel like I'm maybe forcing myself onto him a bit too much..." she mumbled to herself, as she looked over at Bella, "Um...Bella...thank you, I guess..." she said, forcing a weak smile.

((And I thought my post was long, that was...wow, words can't describe the length of it. XD
And yay for interfearing audios. XD *cuddles Bella* such a sweetheart even if butting into others business is (sorta) one of her favorite pasttime. XD;; ))
"I said try harder not give up completely, taking things slow may just give him the wrong idea, you need to maybe slow down a bit but not go so slow he may just not get the hint and youre welcome" she said as she drank a bit of the water "he needs to know you like him but not go so slow he is oblvious to the fact, yes he will need to time sorta get to like you but he isn't completely against the idea of finding someone to love either, if you go slow he may just end up ignoring whatever feelings he may slowly start feeling for you and that wouldn't be good. I guess all im saying is that maybe a nice mix between going slow and yet making your feelings known? Never been one for describing things prperly, im sorry" she said as she gestured towards the two audios comming back "sorry, I have to leave, I just never said a thing, nice to meet you as well" she said as she dived down and swam away, she didn't want Nova to think she was telling him what he may not want anyone to know so it was best that this conversation never took place.
Nova knelt down and placed a bag down beside Alexia "Alexia, this is Ramses, he takes after his father in mummification, that doesnt exactly sound helpful, no, but he knows of herbal remedies that will help, he studies the work of Imhotep, an Ancient Egyptian that knew many things, one was that of a doctor, one of the worlds first doctors apparently, anyway he is studying and nearly finished his studies on being a doctor so he will be able to tell us how bad it is" he said smiling at her as he placed a hand on her shoulder for comfort.
"Hi, Alexia isn't it?" He asked with a certain air about him, going on without waiting for a reply "please, can I take a look at your ankle?" He asked smiling at her, hoping she wouldn't mind some strange Audio looking her over.

Alexia blinked, before turning, hugging Nova's legs softly, "You're back...nice to meet you Ramses, and sure...I trust you." she said, smiling up at Nova. "Listen, since today's kind of ruined, how about I make it up to you? Next week there's this concert at the mall, and I know how to score a few backstage passes...sound fun?"

Nova knelt down and wrapped his arms around her and cuddled her, nodding "I...I actually can't say if it is fun or not, I have never been to aconcert, I have never really been one who has been into music, its strange, I know, after all we ARE Audio's so every one of us should be, at least, into some sort of music but I never have been one who likes noise of any kind unless its natrual noises like birds chirping or whatever. Given how I look I prefer quietness, especially watching the stars at night or talking a walk through the woods, concerts never really appealed to me but, for you, I guess I can take in a concert with you if you wish" he said to her, he knew he was completely strange, what Audio doesn't like music? All Audios are born from headphones which, of course, playes music through them but his, besides when he was a kid, has neverplayed any music except for his main song and that stopped playing several years or so before he even arrived here, he was just an odd Audio that didn't like music, he appreciated the music and let it play if he ever herd any but personally, the less music he heard the better.
Ramses picked up Alexia's ankle and carefully looked it over for a few moments while the other two spoke and gently found the place where her ankle was slightly different to her other ankle and gently put her foot down and grabed the bag, opening it he took out some herbs, water and a pestal and morter and started making mixing up a paste to slather on Alexia's ankle.

Alexia sighed in her mind, "Well, you might like this concert...seeing as how I'm the main singer..." she said, looking down bashfully. She winced a bit as Ramses looked at her ankle, "Maybe after the concert, we can have a walk under the stars?"

"Im sorry if I hurt you, Miss" the egyptian audio looked up and smiled at her, having seen her wince out the corner of his eye "but I promise, it wont be long now" he said as he went back to work, mixing up a large quantity of paste for her ankle, some for now and some for later use.
"Well, since you put it that way then how can I say no to seeing you sing?" He said as he sata bit more comfortably next to her "and a walk will be nice though, given your ankle, you sure you can handle being on stage?" He asked, not wanting to have her hurting more then she already does.

"No no, you're alright Ramses, it's just a bit tender." she said, smiling. A bit of blush was visible on her cheeks, "Well, if I can't, I've got you in the wings to come and carry me home, yes?" she added, winking at Nova. Her fur bristled as she shuddered a bit, "That paste is kinda cold Ramses."

"Yes, I will come and carry you home, promise" he said as he looked down to see what Ramses was doing.
"Im sorry, I would love to make it warmer if I could but the paste is to help take away the swelling and help heal it, the coldness is just an added feature to said paste, coldness, like im sure you have been told, will also help keep the swelling down but im going to giveyou this to take home, if you wish to warm it up a bit just leave it on the bedside table or on the bench or whatever, room temprature is fine, it will still work regardless, the coldness is just to help it more but it isnt really needed" he said as he cleaned the paste on her ankle up a but and wrapped a bandage around her ankle. "Right, that is all done, it will dry up and not be as wet soon enough but till then I suggest you just rest it, at least for a few hours before you sing tonight, keep using this paste, don't go over that, nd you should be back to normal in less then a week, the paste is an old herbal paste my father taught me how to make, it works wonders on sprains and twists and the like" he said as he grabed a jar and placed the left over into it and filled it up to almost he top and handed it to her "that should be more then enough and these are just so if one goes into the wash then you have spares" he said as he handed her three more large bandages still all new in their original packaging
I suggest also that you have a bath, someone may need to help you, the warm waters will also help a bit, so you just might need someoneto help you in and out of the bath though as for that paste I reccomend you just use it as much as you need, over use wont harm you or anything but you don't want to waste it either even though there does seem to be alot in there" he said as he took outa plastic bag and handed it to Nova "to carry those things home in" he said as heput everything away and shut the bag up.
"Thank you Ramses" he said as he opened the bag and placed the bandages and paste inside it "you going home now?" He asked, seeing the other Audio get up.
"It was a pleasure to meet you miss" he said smiling at Alexia and nodded at Nova's question.
"Alright then Ramses, I will see you at home and please, try and calm your father down for me?" He asked, knowing he would have to face him sooner rather then later and if it was sooner then at least he would like him to be calm.
"I will try but I make no promises, you know what he can be like once hes in a bad mood" he said with a sigh, thankfully, from what he knew, none of his sons took after him when it ame to his bad moods so at least that was something.

Alexia waved good-bye to Ramses, and sighed, "I feel like such a klutz...here we are on a really lovely picnic, and I have to go and ruin things." she said, a tear rolling down her cheek. She kept her gaze on her ankle, as her shoulders slumped slightly, another sigh escaping her lips. Boy, she had never stuffed up a 'date' this bad, the worst before this was accidentally stepping on her date's toe, which sent him home angry at her.
"Still, could have been worse, right?" she looked over at Nova, a few tears running down her cheeks, even though she bore a very warm smile. Amazing how such a girl could be crying while smiling, but for her, it was only a rare occurrence if she was laughing too hard, or she was in immense pain. Strangely, this time she was crying for ruining the picnic, and crying because of her foot.

((Thats alright, I understand life can be a b***h at times. ^^))
Nova knelt down and wipped the tears away that were falling from Alexia's eyes and smiled at her "don't worry about it, we could, if your up to it, have a picnic still, though I don't think you should be singing tonight, maybe you should call it off?" He suggested to her, he didn't want to upset her more but hobbling around on stage wouldn't help heal her ankle and he didn't want to have it end up becomming worse for her so maybe having the next few days or so off would be good for her "I know you don't want to hear that but I just don't think it would be wise to get up there with your foot like this" he said to her, hoping she would understand and not thinking him unreasonalbe or anything.
