Iliad waited for the silver haired girl to answer his questions but instead he felt her pulling his again, this time down a dark alley. She slammed him into one of the brick walls and pressed her body against his. He was slightly turned on by the sudden change of events, but Iliad tried not to say anything too kinky. Before he could say anything at all though her hand came up fast to cover his mouth and she squeezed herself tighter against him, looking down to the end of the alley, Is she really hiding from a royal guard... in an alley, Iliad tried sighing but with Sabine's hand over his he just let out a long breath through his nose, Amature, always go for a roof, hiding in an alley is stupid, its easy to get caught and makes you look guilty, and me look guilty by association. He followed her gaze down the alley and saw the royal guards walk by, one of them commented said something. Iliad smirked, or tried to, Damn kids? What do they think we're doing? They most likely think we're out here in the middle of the city ready to have sex with eachother in an alley, how I wish I could prove them right...
A few seconds after he completed that last thought he felt the girls hand pull away and her lean back off of him. "Thank God huh, you wouldn't happen to be associated with any of the local riff raff are you, gangs and such, thats the only reason I can come up with as to why you just did what you did." He said with a smile. Iliad ruffled his hair, "Well, no matter, are you going to show me that restaurant or not?" Iliad asked casually.

She sighed and groaned, nearly forgetting that Iliad was there standing next to her. She looked up and saw him smiling which made her shake her head. She had a feeling that a lot of questions were going to come out, and she really wasn't in any mood to answer them. As if on cue, he had asked her if she was associated with any of the stuff going on. Well, not technically. She was a rebel, but looking for the people in charge of the Rose Line. Till she found them, she was a rogue, basically killing those who tried to take her magic.

She... was rather grateful when he changed the topic, and still suggested going to get breakfast. She cocked her head to the side a little to see what he was playing at, but when he smiled she nodded.

"I make no comment on the first question just yet, but yeh... the breakfast." She said standing up. "It's down here. They have awesome food there."

Sabine started heading for the end of the alley, before cautiously looking around. Seeing that the coast was really clear, she walked out into the street and waited for Iliad.

Iliad laughed, "Yea, no comment, can't say I didn't see that one coming," He smiled, "Can't expect you to tell me your gang affiliations before I even get your name, but hopefully you wil tell me soonl, your name I mean." He chuckled, "Maybe even the affiliation too, who knows, we might even be on the same side here." Iliad left a lingering smile, Not untrue, if her side has the money I'll wave its flag like it was my own, just a sticky situation when the money runs out. Iliad followed her out of the alley way and into the street, his steps light and his attitude equally light hearted.
Turning to Sabine he said, "So, please tell me, whats the name of this place, I've lived here my entire life, I can't imagine there being a place in this city I don't know about." He said with a smile, Wow, an honest statement, I should lie to her just to even myself out again. Iliad shook his head at the thought, a small shake. He didn't want her to think he was a loon, prone to fits of uncontrolable body movements. "Also, what's the deal with the headgear? Not that it is unbecoming, just don't see too many beautiful girls with something on their head other than a tiara or a hat." He spoke casually, as if to an old friend, as he walked beside her. Iliad shot her a glance and smiled, no perverted thought, just a small smile, trying to win over her trust.
Just as he turned back he saw a familiar face, you could only be a thief in this city on your own for so long before it became neccesary for outside contacts, and one of his most trusted was part of the crowd right infront of him. Iliad didn't change his facial expression, he didn't even make eye contact or show any other tell. The man was equally as discreet, blending in with the crowd and looking casual. As the two men passed eachother Iliad grabbed a slip of paper, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. He crumpled it into his hand as soon as he grabbed it and sighed at the same time to hide the sound. He slipped the ball of paper into his pocket for a later date and no one was the wiser. Iliad was a pro after all, he would bet that a trained sniper couldn't catch his movements, and Iliad was usually right.

She turned her head and gave a smirk. It was in her nature to be allusive, and she didn't give out her name to most anyone. Before she said anything she would need to get to know him first.

"The circlet belonged to my Great-Great Grandmother, and was passed down. My mother gave it to me before she died. It helps... with my magic." She said quietly as they walked down the street. "And this place is known as the Underground if you know where that is, or have heard of it. There! Thats the tavern. Come on."

She walked into the Tavern and walked to the very back. She looked around and tapped the wall, before it opened. It was a place to eat, and a place to relax if you were a rebel.

"Welcome to my home away from home."

Iliad looked at her as she spoke, he didn't give off anything to let her know that the word magic made him want to do a happy dance, She's either going to lead me to someone who will pay me, or the rebels, either way I get paid. He thought wickedly. "Oh, okay, I'm sorry about your mother, it must be hard, I never knew my mother, and my father passed away a few years ago." He sighed, Yea, and by 'passed away,' I mean, 'Got hanged in public.' He smiled a sad smile, he was unsure if he was using it to get sympathy or if he really was sad about his father, he opted to go with sympathy. If we have something in common she'll be more willing to trust me. He thought.
Iliad then looked up for a second, "The Underground, yea, heard of it, never been there," He lifted his hand and pointed to exemplify the remainder of the statment, "I've had a friend go there once though, but I doubt he was looking for bacon and eggs." In honesty his friend was there on a recon mission of sorts, and friend was a word used lightly. Iliad put his hand down and chuckled, "Sorry about the gesture, I... work with my hands alot, after a while my hands started doing what my mind thought, even if the two were unrelated, talking is a good example of this I guess." He stated.
Iliad followed her into the tavern and smiled, Huh, kind of a complicated set up, wonder how that guy found out about this place, probably the same way I found out about him. Iliad smiled and looked at her, "So, I've seen your home away from home, know a little bit about your familly, and know a pretty big secret of yours that is a little bit on the illegal side of the law these days, but I still don't know your name." Iliad lowered his smile to a smirk, "Care to change that?" He queried.

Idril had traveled many days and nights on the run, as usual. Out of her curiosity, she had already heard of the rumors of the Knights of the Rose Line and the mischeif going on in Dru-Kai, so she decided to stop there. She looked about the town and it was the busiest place she had ever seen, then again, she hadn't been in a town in a while now. She thought it might be nice to refresh herself at an inn when she saw royal gaurds running up and down the streets. One of them looked at her suspiciously. "Hey, kid, what are you?" his face was rigid and his expression stern. Idril was quite excellent when it came to deception and changing the conversation when she didn't want to answer a question. "Good Sir, I'm not a child..." she thought that by saying "sir" he'd be a little more leniant with her. Her convincing smile also helped his rigid face soften, but his expression he tried to keep a stern one. "Answer my question." he demanded. Idril sighed then looked up at him with her scintillating, cerulean, innocent eyes. What do I look like, sir? I'm only a human from the city of Argiona." she said sweetly. "Argiona? Never heard of it. As for your appearance, doesn't matter. It's my duty to ask these questions. You're free to be on your way." he said, turning his back on her, not really caring for her since she was clearly an outsider and what sort of outsider who could use magic would enter a town of conflict? If anything, she was a fool, but her curiosity got the better of her and she was careful not to use her magic in front of these people. She then walked about the town and marveled at all the small industries and as she kept her keen ears open for gossip, she heard someone mention an "Order of Light." She listened in on the conversation by a nearby resturant, careful not to be seen, which was helped by her small size. After hearing about the Order of Light being the opposing side of the Knights of the Rose Line, Idril inquired on finding more about these knights. Unforcunately, she wouldn't be able to find them easily.....she knew they had to be hiding somewhere and thought it best for now to keep her magic powers out of sight. She then paid for a room at a nearby inn and happily refreshed herself with food and drink before wandering off again to buy a new pair of clothes, since hers had been worn from her running and hiding in the outskirts of the world.
While shopping, she had bought herself a cute white blouse, a black mini-skirt and black tights with black leather boots. Not her typical traveling wardrobe, but she thought it might be nice to look a little more casual and clean. Also, this would make her image as a traveling rouge unsuspectable.

Sabine -o- Winters

Sabine sat down at one of the tables and before long she had a glass of ale put down in front of her. She looked up and saw the barkeep. He gave her a wink before walking away, enticing a groan from her lips.

"What is with all these men who just want to get into my pants?!" She said as she clunked her head down on the table.

Sabine heard Iliad speak of his father who had been killed a few years before which made her lift her head and nod.

"Mine too... by the Royal Guard. He was protecting me..." She said before an angry look crossed her face. She gritted her teeth and hit her hands against the table, before grabbing the glass of ale and downing it as if a man had. She thrust the glass down on the table again before taking in a few short breaths. "I can't stand the Guards... The freaking Order of Light."

Her hands clenched into fists again but before long she looked up and the anger dissipated.

"A name is a very personal thing. I could tell you everything there is to know about me... but it would be useless without my name. I don't just hand it out to anybody. It's easy to tell that you're overly trusting, but I'm not. You're lucky your friend didn't die here... most of the people are very cautious about who enters. You're with me so don't worry. They'll stay clear from you. As for your hands, it's fine. It doesn't bother me."

After talking to the man for a few more moments, Lynda waved him off. Looking up to the sky, she enjoyed the gently kisses she retrieved from the sun. Smiling gently, Lynda wished her family yet another good day. Turning back around, she dressed in her usual attire, loving the gentle colors. Deciding she might as well bring her blade with her, she attached it to her side, then covered her form with her cloak. Standing before her mirror, Lynda stared at her reflection, not seeing herself but her mother. Smiley sadly, she swiftly turned to the door, in no mood for tears. Swiftly making her way through her large home, she payed no attention to the empty rooms.

Remembering that her mission for the day was find and retrieve the princess. Sighing, Lynda silently wondered why her beloved, the oldest prince, couldn't go look for her himself. Knowing that he probably had more important things to do, she still questioned his priorities. Pulling a piece of paper out of her patch, Lynda quickly scanned the information. It seemed that the first place to look would be at some man named Marcus Natali's home. Groaning, Lynda figured she had to find some way to get there, but first, where did he live?

Iliad sat down opposite the girl and shot the barkeeper a look. Do that again and you'll wake up in an alley without the keys to your house, or a shirt on your back... He wished he could say it outloud, it was actually a common verbal attack of his, but that wouldn't look good in front of the girl. Sighing he said, "I know, some guys are just pigs huh." There was a healthy amount of sarcasm laced in his voice. When the bartender returned to the table with a glass of ale for Iliad it was quickly refused. Probably spat in it... Aside from Iliad's baseless paranoia, the reason he refused the drink was the fact that Iliad hated the taste of the stuff. He could hold it well enough, but getting it down was just way too bad. He was a fan of wine however, ever since he stole his first bottle at the age of 14 and got smashed.
Iliad looked at Sabine throw quite a bit of a tantrum before calming down, That was... cute... He thought to himself. He was all for women to be firey, but he prefered that fire to come out in the bedroom, not in public. It went against his very nature to be seen in public, but he was hard pressed to think that there wasn't someone here who would recognize his face later on in life at the worst possible time. Iliad sighed, "Yea, my father was killed by the Royal guards too." He wasn't lying, though it was hard to feel bad for a crook being hung. "I hate them too, but be easy, there is nothing banging a table and drinking yourself into a stupor can do to bring him back, and even worse you don't hurt them by doing it, you only hurt yourself." He said in as compassionate a tone as possible.
Iliad leaned back in his chair, a sigh excaping his lungs and a disappointed smile playing across his face. "Can't blame me for trying, but what makes you think I'm so trusting?" He asked, jabbing himself in the chest with his thumb as he did. He shook his head, his father said the same thing. He tried to wean his son out of the habit by tricking him every now and again. His tactics included things like sending him into a room with an angry dog, or into a room only to be locked in, just to show that Iliad couldn't trust anyone, not even his own father. The message never stuck to well though.

Sabine -o- Winters

She shook her head not really looking up at him. She pushed her empty glass away before clenching her teeth again.

"You don't think I know that..." She said, her anger from earlier still there. "You don't think I know I can't bring him back. He's dead, and I couldn't save him. He died protecting me... do you understand the guilt there. If I had just did what I was told... never mind. I'm not interested in sympathy, or sob sessions. I just want to see those Guards and that Order brought down to their knees."

She took another deep breath calming herself down again. Sabine wasn't like most other women who lived around. She was... different. Always different, and always alone.

"The fact that you asked me out for drinks and breakfast say's one thing about you. How do you know that I didn't bring you here to kill you? You don't. Unless your magic is reading minds you don't know anything."

Iliad smiled at her words, she was angry again but not making as big of a scene, she reminded him of a sad puppy, kicked one too many times. Iliad smiled, "How do you know I'm not a mind reader?" He asked, "Better yet, how do you know that I wasn't reading you since the first second I saw you ontop of me?" Iliad smiled and leaned forward. "If you were going to kill me you would have done so in the alley, also you wouldn't have let me walk away that first time, and another thing, why wouldn't you tell me your name? If I were to die you could tell me your whole life story, and measurments without a second thought, the dead tell no tales." He smirked, "But not only are you underestimating my ability to read people, you're also over estimating your own abilities, even if I were suspicious of you, I would still follow you, what makes you think you could have killed me if you wanted? What makes you think that in that alley way, while you were paying attention to the guard walk by I couldn't slit your throat?" He smiled wide, "What makes you so sure that while you were banging tables I didn't slip something into you're drink?" He waved the palm of his hand in her face, turned it over, then turned it back to reveal a folded slip of paper which seemingly appeared out of thin air. He pulled his hand back and blew the papers contents into the air. A pure white powder, the poison was harmless in the air, but lethal in large enough quantities while in a drink. "You see, its not that I trust easilly, its that I know who to trust, and since your drink is fine and I didn't slit your throat in the alley it looks like you have nothing to worry about either, Miss... what was your name again?" He asked with a wide grin.
