Nearly out of breath as she came to a stop, she was glad to see the bus was there. When the doors opened she gave a polite smile to the bus driver then moved to go find a seat.
"I seriously doubt they'd lock the rooms on us. Especially since we should have keys to our own doors." Giggling softly, she waited for her friend before claiming a seat. "But I'm thinking aside from our dress shopping some food will be in order."

"I was thinking the same thing, you know. There is this place in town which sells Japanese food. Its quite nice if you want me to take you. There is a huge koi pond there."
She smiled and nodded sitting down in her seat and looking out the window. She had a habit of getting bus sick, even on the smallest journey's so she always looked out the window. It helped in some kind of odd way. Resting her chin on her hand she looked back over at Melody.
"Yea. Although I was locked out once, had to send the night in a friends room because I forgot my key. Man I hate it when that happens, thats what you get for rushing around everywhere, is there anything you need to get whilst we are there?"

"I can't say I've had much Japanese food, my family mostly lives on Vietnamese styled dishes and such. But perhaps that wouldn't be too bad to try... Yes, that sounds wonderful." Nodding, she smiled to the blonde beside her and crossed her legs at the ankles. Her hands folded themselves gentle in her lap, one over the other, and she seemed to be the very picture of elegance. Crazy make-up aside.
"Locked out huh? Sounds tough. I have two copies of my key, though one I keep hidden above my door frame in case I should forget my other. It's a very handy trick that my Gran taught me years ago. Only because my cousin Monroe tended to lock me out of Gran's house quite often when I would go and sit in the gardens."

"I might have to take that advise, might get me out of a lot of problems, your grandmother must be a smart women, I have a little brother, he is living with mine whilst I am here. That said I am mighty keen to be getting back to him soon. I have not seen him in what seems like forever."
She stated with a small smile before she turned to Melody in wonder.
"Vietnamese? is that your nationality or is it just a family favourite?"
She asked with a small chuckle. She did not mean to pry however this was the longest time she had probably ever spent talking to someone. ESPECIALLY, someone who she did not really know before hand so yea. She did not want awkward silence now.

"Gran was a very smart woman. According to my mother I take after her a lot, especially in looks." The smile never left her face, though there was a hint of sadness to it at the mentioning of her long deceased grandmother.
Her companion's next question caught her off guard a bit, having been wrapped up in memories, and her brown eyes blinked curiously. "My nation-?" she echoed slightly before the question hit her fully and she gave a soft laugh. "Sort of? My mother is Vietnamese and my father is Chinese/Vietnamese mix. I grew up on Vietnamese food as it's what my mother cooks."

"your grandmother must have been pretty... if not a little wacky and colourful!"
She giggled and nodded looking out the window again.
"to be honest I have never had that kind of food before... maybe one day you can show me some?... Me and my brother are not from around here either. I think our origins make us.. special."
She stated before she remembered what life was like where she used to live, in the country so peaceful. Then that trip to Paris... the one that inspired her to play music.... the magic.
"... What inspires you?"

"Well I was born and raised here in Destiny City," or so she thought. She wasn't sure honestly, just like she wasn't sure how long she'd been in this school. "So it's not like it's all the rage around here. But I know this wonderful little place that does Vietnamese food real good and I go there when I'm missing home. I'll have to take you there one day."
Toying with her hair, she turned to face the other blonde. "Inspires me?" her tone was curious, browns furrowed in thought. "You mean to play music?" That was a tough question to answer, if her guess was right.

"Yeah to play music. I am sorry to ask such a odd thing, I guess I was daydreaming and it just came out. I was thinking about what inspires me, I guess. I remember once I went to Paris. It changed my life, the music, the dances, the gowns there was this women playing the piano, she was so beautiful and she looked at peace with the world and it showed through her music. I remember I was only a little kid but. I wanted to be like her so much. Thats why I play the piano, you know. So come on what's you secrete."
She smiled as she started to play with the little padlock she used as a earring. A soft smile on her face as she looked over to Melody. She could remember everything about that day. It was so awesome. She would never forget and if she got the chance, she would go back. Maybe even live there one day.

It was fine to ask such a question, especially from one musician to another. But honestly... Biting her painted lip, Melody had to think a moment on what was her inspiration. Did she even really have one?
"That must have been lovely, going to Paris. I'd love to go one day myself." Paris was the city of love and art, if nothing else she'd love to go there if only to play for the world.
"But to answer your question... I can't say whether or not I have an inspiration to play. When I was little, four or five I'd guess, my Gran played for me the Nutcracker suite and I fell in love. From that point I would listen only to classical music, drawn to it was if it called to me. When I was six I begged my parents to get me an instrument and I picked the cello... I've been playing ever since."

"Thats a nice story."
She smiled looking over at Melody and nodding before she stood up and moved into the corridor of the moving bus. She needed to go now, if only for s moment, there was something she needed to take care of.
"Listen, I need to go and do something, however I will meet you at the music shop. I am guessing you know where it is next to the jewellery store. I wont be long only about 10 minuets but it is private. A surprise maybe, get yourself a coffee or something. See you soon my little brightly coloured friend."
She smiled and saluted before she made her way off the bus before she had a chance to answer waving at her through the window as she made her way down the road.
(( we can start another RP later for them gown shopping and going to the cafe ^_-))
