Xiu smiled as he was led by the excited grey frei through the many game stalls that dotted the fair. The grey frei seemed interested in one particular stall though. Within minutes the grey frei had paid for a couple of balls and had given some to Xiu before turning and focusing on the game. The white frei silently cheered his friend on but as each ball missed their mark, the grey frei seemed more and more annoyed and had finally turned to Xiu; asking him why the ball was not entering. Perplexed, the white frei gave the bowls a glance. The game seemed straight forward really…throw the ball into the bowl and win a fish.
The white frei gave his first ball a try and it missed. Laughing to show that it did not really matter, the white frei gave his second ball a toss. The ball bounced lightly against the rim of the bowl before falling off. Offering his third ball to Domevlo, Xiu gave a soft chuckle. “Sorry friend, my aiming skills aren’t any better,”
Unknown to the both of them, a figure was eyeing the raevans…

It was obvious of Domevlo's frustration by this point, he watched Xiu toss two of the three balls he'd given him: both missing. Frowning he took the last ball back and gave it a nonchalant toss. Turning to Xiu without even looking if it would go in or not Domo decided this game was broken only until the attendant began ringing a bell. "Winnner winner winner! We have a winner!"
Yelping and ducking back behind Xiu, Domo looked up peering curiously at all the hullabaloo. "What that?" Slowly he moved from behind the white frei gearing for a smile when he saw the attendant hand him a bag with two goldfish inside. "Domo win?" He asked.
"You won buddy. Here's your prize."
Reaching his slender hand out he peered at the bowls noting one floating in it the goldfish inside nipping at it curiously. The shy smile soon turned to a full one and burned brightly in the frei's amber orbs. "Xiu friend! Domo win!" Holding up the fish for Xiu to see he beamed happily now eager to play more games in hopes his luck was not completely gone. "We play more games yes?"

Xiu could not help but laugh as the younger frei yelped and ducked behind him; clearly alarmed by the sudden ringing of the bell and the shouting of the attendant. “Congratulations, Domevlo!” cheered Xiu as he pointed to the bag containing two goldfishes.
“You really won!” chuckled Xiu as he floated beside Domevlo and the bag of goldfishes. “And yes, let’s play more!”
A little further away from the excited duo, a man eyed the raevans quietly; noting with exceptional care the location in which their money was kept.

With the excitement of winning, Domevlo tugged on Xiu's arm directing him to yet another game. This time it was his usual game with the clown faces and the balloons that pop at the top. With a slight frown he gave Xiu a look. "No good at.. Zul teach but Domo no win." Though he knew it was a game he probably shouldn't play he wanted to at least try one more time.
"Domo play with Xiu, make fun yes?" Well at least he had the white frei with him this time. It was much more fun with friends around and this time he would try not to break the toy gun. "Xiu play?"

Xiu allowed himself to be tugged along by his excited friend. Along the way, a rather shady human had bumped rudely into him. The frei had noticed a rather odd dark aura about that person. However, before the white frei think or do much about it, said person had vanished into the moving crowd and Domevlo had tugged the white frei to their next gaming booth.
Watching the game that was being played by other humans at the booth, Xiu nodded. The game looked fairly simple theory wise. “Yes, we shall play this, Domevlo,” said Xiu with a slight nod to his friend. Reaching for his wallet, Xiu frowned. It wasn’t there. A feeling of dread came over the white frei.
“D-Domevlo, I do believe that…someone has taken my wallet,” said Xiu quietly. Meanwhile, blue eyes were searching the premises for the likely culprit.

Domevlo was content to play the game with Xiu when the white frei made a startling announcement. Turning toward him, Domevlo raised an eyebrow in question of his distress. "Wall-it? Why do that?" He wondered more to himself then asking directly. Looking down the lane of games, first left then right, he saw no one that stood out, most everyone was pulling out a wallet to produce money to the game attendants. Seeing Xiu's distress Domo suddenly felt angry. He didn't like seeing his friend upset, who took his wallet?
Snapping suddenly, Domo bounced with a new form of excitement. "We find Xiu's wall-it. Get back then play games..." Growling slightly at the shift in their day's plans, this change of events was slowly grating on Domo's nerves. Having to stop their fun to find Xiu's wallet was no fun. "When last have wall-it?"

Xiu watched as his grey friend hovered up and down and was rather alarmed to hear the growling sounds that accompanied Domelvo’s erratic gesture. Domevlo was certainly expressing his feelings very well and the white frei was touched by Domevlo’s action.
“Yes, we shall find it and resume out games,” said Xiu gravely. “I recall having a strange person bump into me Domevlo. Perhaps it is there that I have lost it?” said the white frei as he floated towards the scene of the crime. “He’ll probably be miles away by now though…my wallet was such a nice one too,” sighed Xiu. “It was brown leather with a red strap attached to it,”
Unknown to the two frei, the pick pocket was hunched suspiciously by a cotton candy stall not far from the scene of the crime. The thief in question was going through the wallet’s content which consisted of a week’s allowance and nothing else.

It was quite upsetting to see his friend sow down. Having lost his wallet was not the best part of their day but maybe if they did a bit of looking around they might find some leads. Domevlo gave a soft sigh mixed with something akin to a grumble and a growl. Scanning the area with his shinning amber eyes, his rune flickered slightly -- following the shinning in his eyes -- a quick shift of radioactive green before returning to its dull gray. "Domevlo will look this way, Xiu can go that way. We meet in the up here again." The lead frei instructed, his speech shifting just enough to pass as decent grammar and vocabulary. "Guy not get too far! We find him quick then make pay for spoiling fun."
Patting his friend on the shoulder he offered his usual smiling eyes then began to float off in the direction he had picked, scanning around for anyone that looks out of place or suspicious. Clouded by a simmering displeasure he poked at a few people that was just idle standing around but quickly found they weren't who he was looking for. Snorting grumpily a group of little kids scurried to their mothers scared of the 'grunting monster' that floated by. Domevlo ignored them moving further down the walk mindful to keep an eye out on the design Xiu had explained for his wallet.

“That’s a good idea, Domevlo,” said Xiu with a nod of his head. “And indeed, he shall pay dearly for his crime.”
There was a slightly chilly edge in the manner which the white frei spoke those words and with a silent nod to his grey friend, Xiu made his way down the path Domevlo indicated. The fair was fairly crowded and…try as he might; there was no sight of anyone particularly suspicious. Xiu frowned. This was getting frustrating. The person responsible for the disappearance of his wallet was obviously keeping away from the crowd. Was he hiding in the less frequented areas then? Floating to a less crowded location, Xiu hoped Domevlo had better luck…
The pick pocket had taken all there was to take from the wallet; which wasn’t much but it’d do for a couple of cheap booze. Flicking the wallet in his hand idly, the thief then flung the wallet aside; not noticing the approaching Domevlo. “Heh, cheap stuff. Probably imitation leather,” said the thief before skulking off.

Domevlo had better luck as he spotted the man removing money from what could pass for his wallet, except he discarded the thing shortly after. Though that wasn't particularly an issue, the direction of which the wallet was flung was right in Domo's face. He caught the wallet with a snort glaring at the wallet then the man. For what seemed like moments Domevlo assessed the situation... A man with a discarded wallet, money in his hand... wait! Xiu's wallet!
Growling at this, Domo quickly tucked the wallet in his tunic then launched himself at the man full force. "Take Xiu wall-it! Not yours... give back what inside! Now!"

Everything should have gone smoothly. He had taken the wallet, emptied the wallet and tossed the wallet. There should not have been any interferences. Except…
“Ow! Gerrooff me!” shouted the man as something slammed itself into him. Twisting himself to get a better look, the man’s eyes opened wide at the sight of an enraged Domevlo.
“Argh! Help! MONSTER!!!” the man yelled at the top of his lungs. Already there was a crowd forming as the two struggled against each other. Using this to his advantage, the man screeched. “MONSTER! THAT BEAST! IT ATTACKED ME! HELP!!”
Instinctively two men stepped forward and made a grab at Domevlo; each human grasping an arm each. Then, Domevlo was forcefully pulled away from the man while the crowd watched.
“Domevlo! What has happened?” a voice within the crowd called out and as the crowd moved aside, the floating figure of Xiu could be seen. Floating up to Domevlo, Xiu gave his friend a worried look. “Domevlo? Wha-“
“THAT THERE FREAK! HE ATTACKED ME! MONSTERS! THE BOTH OF THEM!” screamed the man again; worried that the arrival of the actual owner of the purse might turn the tide against him.

Domevlo was not sure what monster meant he'd heard it before on the tv and from some descriptions at the museum but he hadn't taken time to really understand what monster meant. Somehow the way it was being thrown at him, it was like being punched in the face. Was he being insulted? Domo didn't like not knowing things and most of all when it was being used to describe him. If this man were using a word so negatively, did that make Domevlo a monster? Inverted eyes narrowed taking on the form of a very angry beast. If he were a monster then best to play the part well...
"If Domo monster, then man be scared! VERY SCARED! Give wall-it back to friend... thief! Take what not belong to you!" He glared, snarling his displeasure of having Xiu's money stolen. Before he could grab at the man again to pummel him hands reached out to hold him back, hindering his progress for retaliation. "No touch Domo! Thing try take friend wall-it, give back give back give back give back!" He roared continuing to shout while struggling against the arms that held him. "Go sleep, make go sleep! Go sleep!"
By this time Xiu had entered the scene with a confused expression on his face. Domevlo yanked his arm free rushing for the man once more just barely passing Xiu before he was snagged again and held back. "Xiu wall-it! Thing take, Domo saw... thing take. Make pay, make sleep! Give back!"
With more of the commotion, security had been called on the scene looking between the two half creatures and the man on the floor screaming about monsters. They didn't know which to believe as one of the 'monsters' seemed just as confused as they. "What seems to be the problem here?" One of the security guards questioned his gaze turning to Xiu considering he wasn't one of the two yelling obscenities.

Well, from the angry outburst of his friend, it was not hard to put two and to together. That and the fact that the man was giving off an aura that was similar to the one he had seen just before his wallet went missing.
Turning to the security guards, Xiu said gravely. “He was the pick pocket who stole my wallet. My friend Domevlo must have seen it,”
“LIAR!!” the man shouted pointing at Xiu. “If I AM a thief, where’s the wallet I stole, huh? HUH?”
Xiu hesitated. It was clear that this man was a criminal but… what Xiu could see could not be seen by others and this made things complicated.
“Perhaps…you might have discarded the wallet and my friend Domevlo happened to see you in the act of doing it?” prompted Xiu quietly. “This would give you the confidence to state that the wallet isn’t with you now,”
“S-STOP MAKING FALSE ACCUSATIONS!” the man yelled angrily. Pointing to the two raevans the man turned to face the security guards. “Officer! They are tarnishing my good name! I want them arrested!”
“But…if that were true, you must have taken the money I had in the wallet,” said Xiu calmly. “No point throwing away a full purse is there? In that case…there should be…two tens, three fives and six ones and the number printed on the each individual notes are different, yes? In that case…,” said Xiu turning to the security guards. “I could tell you the numbers on the notes that were stolen and the man is in possession of them, would it help in proving his guilt?”
Seeing the disbelieving faces of the security guards and the crowd, Xiu looked embarrassed. “W-Well…I don’t normally do that of course…,”said Xiu. “But I while I was waiting for Domevlo to arrive, I errr…had nothing on hand, so to pass the time…I…tried memorizing the serial numbers of each note in my wallet…,” explained Xiu sheepishly.

This was truly a moment of disbelief for the officers but if Xiu could prove the man was in possession of his money then it was best to hear it from the horses mouth... so to speak. "Very well if you know what the serial numbers are then we'll listen." The officer motioned for the two men to let Domevlo go.
Upon which the lead frei quickly moved behind Xiu shielding himself from the man and the security. He didn't like all the people crowding around them either. And to be called a monster didn't help his virus induced emotions. Some part of him wanted to cry and ball his eyes out but he managed to hold on to his dignity if only not to embarrass Xiu. Instead he wrapped his arms around the white frei while resting his head on Xiu's back until everything was straightened out.

Xiu nodded and told the officers the serial number of the notes he lost. Stiff incredulous, the officers then grudgingly searched the man and found all of the missing notes. Returning them to the white frei, the officers then grabbed the protesting thief away. No doubt to be charged for stealing.
Seeing the excitement gone, the crowd slowly dispersed and Xiu turned his attention to Domevlo. The poor frei looked positively worn out and Xiu reached out a hand to gently stroke the grey frei’s soft hair. “Thank you, Domevlo,” said Xiu quietly before taking hold of one of Domevlo’s hand. Nodding encouragingly, Xiu led the other out of the fairgeounds. “We are going home now. I warrant that that was enough excitement for one day,”
