Well, I think that, while they're totally different, they're also almost completely the same. sweatdrop

I mean, when you think about it, the basis is usually that some Psycho person is trying to destroy the world, and a motley crew is assembled to defeat said Psycho.

The presentation and characters are different each time, and there's just something about each one that makes it different.

Either way, every one of them is a masterpiece. 3nodding

So far X and X-2 are my favorite Final Fantasy games. That probably won't change really, since I enjoyed the characters and the storylines so much. Its just a story I clicked with in a way I haven't clicked with any other Final Fantasy. redface

lol im not a chick but i love ffx and x-2! 3 words....rikku, lulu, and auron thats it! so sad to depart with the storyline after beating the game

Wow I played Final Fantasy 5 and up. The best have to be VII and VIII. For all of you VII fans out there a movie will be coming out (Advent Children) and they're making a cellphone game of the Turks when they first joined Shinra.

I can't really say that I enjoyed the game to much myself sweatdrop

I mean I liked the story, and most of the characters were cool. But other than Shiva, most of the summons were pretty bad looking compared to their other versions in older FF Games. As well, the sphere grid system kind of made it so there was no customization in the game. I mean you could pretty much send everyone through each others route, and in the end they would all be the same for the most part. But at any rate, personally my favorite FF Game would have to be either FF4, or FF9 I can't decide

My brother had borrowed FFX from his friend, and we both started playing. My brother, being the little cheat that he was, simply copied his friend's almost completed game (It was up to the part where you fight Sin on the airship) and used cheats, so he and I were relatively at a tie. Unfortunately, my bro's friend had used lots of cheats, so he was leveled up to crazy heights, and beat the game before I did.

I had gotten to the end parts, where I was right in front of Jecht...then my brother gave the game back to his friend. I went insane for a few weeks, and then my brother bought X-2, which I've been messing around w/ever since. I still want to finish FFX though...Auron definitely rocks my socks, as does Gippal, who has become the replacement Auron.

I think the only problem was that I hadn't played FF before FFX, so I was totally used to the sphere grids and having turns in battle...then I get X-2 and my sphere grids are gone and there's dress spheres and real time play... eek

I do like the whole Lenne/Shuyin deal in X-2, so I don't miss FFX that much, especially since my brother told me the ending and ruined everything. Oh well, I still have Gippal!

FFX is one of my favorite games. Great plot and awesome graphics. The detailed character design and backgrounds really made the game compattable with every players prefernces. Plus, it also throws in countless plot twists, always sure to keep all gamers on their feet.

FFX was my first traditional FF game (FFT was my first FF game... sweatdrop Of course I start with the hardest one), and probably still my second favorite. Of course the graphics are addictive, and I enjoyed the battles and sphere grid system. The story was kinda lacking and I really, really hated Tidus, but I think Yuna's crisis of faith late in the game and other surprises really saved it.

final fantasy x is good but yunas voice gets annoying after a while, i also think the game was too simple and they could have come up with a better name than 'sin'!

Yea, Yuna def gets better in the sequal to the game (That sounds wierd saying sequal to a FF game ^^;; lol) But I do agree, she is kinda annoying in FFX, and they made her entirely to powerful, I mean all you had to do half the time is summon a summon up and bam, you could easily beat the game that way.
