Ebby smiled, "Don't be embarrassed, Ciaran. Lots of people don't know how to shop for themselves when they're young if they've never been. My Mama didn't have a clue and tended to let my elder brother take me. That's the only reason I know at all." the girl laughed.
"I'm sure we'll find you something nice." she assured him, patting the older spawn's arm as she took a sip of her drink. "Oh yes, this is very nice cocoa."

Ciaran smiled. "My friend has been teaching me how to live on my own, but clothing is one thing he cant do as he doesn't wear any. Well I think that I will learn plenty from you," he said.
"This cocoa is one of my favorite drinks and sometimes I come to the mall just to have some,"

Ebby nodded, "It is hard to find places that sell cocoa this good outside of the mall and ski lodges. All of the regular cafes that sell it sell it overpriced and cheap." she commented, "What'd be neat is if someone opened up a store for things like that." she laughed at that.

"You are total right about that." he said in agreement. "That would be nice and other things that are hard to find too, like some of the better chocolates or handmade candies," he added as he finished the last of his pizza and waited for Ebony to finish her lunch.

"That could be cool to do." she agreed, "Have you ever considered opening a shop like that?" Ebby inquired, finishing up her sandwich and throwing out the trash. "Ready to go?"

"I have never thought of that. It would be fun, but I will have to think on that and try and figure things out," he said as it was a niffty idea, but it might take sometime for him to do something like that.
"Yep, I'm ready." he answered as he thowing his own trash out. "So where are we going to head first?"

Ebony thought for a moment. "Well, what sort of budget do you have? Do you have a lot you can spend or very little? If you're trying to watch your money, I know a few stores nearby that sell things at discount prices. Though, a lot of them are secondhand. If you want something brand new and have more to spend, there are some shops with really nice items in the mall itself."

Ciaran smiled a little aquarkwardly as he really didn't need to worry to much about money as he was still getting a weekly alounce from his mother to help him live on his own. "I don't have a budget, but I don't have to worry on how much its going to be. I have been saveing up for a while now to get winter clothes and other thinks I might need." he sheepishly answered. "So if you want you can go wild, if you want," he added as he truely didn't know what would look best on him.

The girl thought for a bit. "Well, personally, I prefer the secondhand shops, I think it's probably better for you to get new things." she said, taking his hand and leading him to the nearest escalator.
Upstairs, the teen showed Ciaran to a large department store. "First, let's find you a light sweater. That way, we can get the worst part over with." Ebby told her friend gently, showing him to the sweater's section. They were advertising everything from thing button up sweaters to thick woolen ones, to sweatervests.
Spotting one of the vests, Ebby blinked. "Hey Ciaran, would you like one of those better than a regular sweater?" she asked, pointing.

He just nodded not really sure what to say as she took his hand and led him to a large department store.
"Ok, that sounds like a good plan." he answered as he looked over to all the slections of sweaters and he had to suppress a shiver as he looked at all the sleeves, but he did touch one and it felt nice.
He looked at the vest and thought it was a good idea. "I think you might be right," he commeted as he took one off the hanger and tryed it on showing it off to Ebony.

Ebby smiled, nodding her head. "It looks nice on you." she agreed, Though maybe this is more your color?" she suggested, plucking up another one. "If being uncomfortable with sleeves if your problem, then just wearing a sweatervest and a shawl would work to keep you warm." she suggested, grabbing one from nearby to lightly drape over his shoulders to show him. "See? All snuggly. Otherwise, a poncho might be good."

"Thanks," he answered as he took off the first one and tryed on the one that Ebony had picked out. "I like this one better, thanks," he said as he looked himself over as it was just the sleeves that reminded him of the stright jacket. "Yes its the sleeves that make me unconfortable and make me feel all restricted," he said as she put a shawl on his shoulders and looked himself over. "Yep and so much better than a straight jacket," he said as he smiled at Ebony as he was happy.

Ebby blinked, "A straight jacket?" she inquired, looking a little worried, "Oh dear, Ciaran, is that what happened to you?" she said softly, lightly reaching out to rub his shoulder. "I'm so sorry."
It upset the purple skinned girl a little that her friend had had to go through something like that. That must've been torture on him.

Ciaran smiled sheepishly he really didn't mean to say that and nodded yes to her first question. "I'm all right now, but I had an extended stay at the Labs for my mother not being able to handle me when I went insane and hurt myself," he answered as he smiled. "There is nothing you need to be sorry for its all in the past and I learned more about my self from it," he said giveing her a hug where she didn't need to be worry.
It might have been torture, but a lot of good things did happen because of it.

"I'm glad you're better now anyway." she whispered, hugging her friend a bit. The labs scared a lot of people, and having to deal with the techs for extended periods of time sucked, so the idea of having to stay there for a having a mental breakdown of sorts just seemed like torture. Especially since you'd have to be alone and locked up most likely - something that'd drive Ebby insane just having to suffer through that, all other issues aside.
Smiling again, she tried to revert the subject back to clothes and off the topic. "Come on, let's see about a poncho or something. They come with hoods so you can wear it in the snow or over your other things when it's colder.
