Oh s**t. s**t. What the hell?! It had been ******** SILENT ******** ******** ********. Whirling around, she watched as Torbernite was stuffing the body into a cello case. How apropos. Hefting the cello, she shoved it against the door, hoping that the sheer bulk of it might keep the door shut just a second longer. What the hell had gone wrong?!
Gratefully, Linarite thanked whatever God was listening that she'd always been tiny and light on her feet. Just as the young man started to rush towards the window, she was yanking it open, feeling her nails break off under the new white gloves. Biting her lip against the quick pain, she gestured and pulled on the case as it came sliding out the window.
"Cmoncmoncmoncmon!" She could hear the keys in the lock now, and soon the wood would be scraping against the floor. It wouldn't take long before they knew that a struggle had occurred, but other than that? Who could say. Now unwilling to feed her partner in crime to the crows, she darted away, keeping one eye on him and urging him to keep up.
"Where do we go?!" Panic was setting in now, and she was totally unfamiliar with getaways when it involved the mundane folk.

Maybe in another setting he might have been proud at how efficiently he was able to make it through the window; and without further thought, he grabbed the case and gestured towards the school cafeteria. It was stupid yes, but noone, and he KNEW no one would be caught dead near the large dumpsters outside. Sure they smelt bad, but they were solid enough to conceal them out the back lot and into the shallow beginnings of an alleyway.
It occurred to him at this point that talking might be a little more useful than vague finger pointing. He cleared his throat, trying not to think outside of what was necessary, her panic only reinforcing a surge of his own. "Ok, once," he cleared his throat at the unexpected rasp in his voice, "-Once we get out the school we gotta get rid of it. Like preferably in the outskirts of down, but there's nowhere that we could-"
Torbernite pause. Wait a second. "The bridge. The one under the bypass, there's an old tunnel leading down to a construction lot that they haven't fixed for years, we can go there, its... its dark enough to hide it."
God, dont look at it, dont look at it. He tried to walk as casually as he could out the school with her, ignoring how the shoes of the victim sometimes brushed against his legs.

Confused and still somewhat panicked that they might run into someone, namely a senshi, while strolling around town had Linarite looking back over her shoulder frequently. She had no idea where they were going, but Torbernite seemed to have a good grip on things for a change. Until the plan was flawed, she wasn't going to worry.
Really, they could've left the body in the dumpsters for all she cared, but if he wanted to do things properly, she'd go with it. However, if she looked suspicious, they would agree that she was suspicious, and everyone would watch them. So Lina forced her body to relax, and she hooked her arm again in Torbernite's, seeming to care for nothing in the world but beaming up at him.
People really hated to look at overly affectionate couples. It was always embarrassing, for both parties! Nevermind that she wasn't exactly being affectionate, and was instead hissing in his ear that he immediately give her details on where exactly they were going, and how far it was.

All in all he was a little lost. Not to mention there seemed to be a rather adamant little demon whispering in his ear that he was going straight to hell - oh wait, that was just Linarite, asking where they were going.
Torbernite wanted to stop. He wanted to drop the body then and there, leave it in the middle of the road and tell her he gave up. Why did he even bother to take action anyway? What was wrong with just leaving someone dead in school: they COULD just be in a coma.
There were so many ifs why buts ands, but nothing could counter the fact that he was still holding it. It had turned from a vague passing empathy to a sense of strange and corrupt obligation. They had to do this.
It seemed even though his mind was beyond lost, his body still knew the motions. Ignoring dark thoughts reminiscent of when he had watched the 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' series, he dropped the body rather unceremoniously to the ground, at last willing himself to take a huge, deep breath.
He motioned to the scenery around them: a bleak rotting sight of abandoned construction cables and wires peering out from tousled piles of dirt.
Now that he had dropped the body, all sense of whatever responsibility seemed to have been severed. He shuddered and tried to avoid eye contact with the feet peering out - apparently they had lost a shoe, oh god, shut up Toby. Mind drawing a blank, he simply stared at the other.
"Now what?"

What, NOW he was going to ask her? Before, when she would have been more than happy to leave it in the chorus room to be found by the faculty? Now he asked. Peachy keen. Rolling her eyes and disentangling herself from the young man, Lina put her hands on her hips to match her attitude.
"Just leave him. Like I said back at the school, just dump the body and someone'll take care of it. I have his seed, he's not going to wake up and tell everyone what we did. Besides, you can tell there was a struggle back there, everyone is going to know that something happened. That's what I wanted, at least." Taking a deep breath, she kicked the case and listened to the heavy thud.
"I'm sure someone will appreciate the irony of a man inside a cello case at a construction site. It's actually rather amusing." Shaking her head again, the bluenette started to walk off. "Besides, I want to get this back to Charonite so he might get off your back for five minutes. You can come if you want."

He cringed as she kicked the bag, and raised both hands defensively, a little intimidated by her attitude. He resisted the urge to mention that a certain someone might have made it out had it not been for his quick wits (or so, he'd like to think), but Torbernite knew from mild experience that there was virtually no way to win an argument with a girl.
Yet that did not stop him from gaping a little as her comments sank in.
"Charonite!?! Are you NUTS?" Considering the General-King was currently Happily Not On His Back, he'd rather not invoke the greater forces and remind Charonite that he still existed, Linarite's good intentions or not. "Look how about this, you can go report to Charonite about our uh, deeds, and I'll deal with the cleanup. Since neither of us clearly wants to do the other."
It sounded as good a truce as he could imagine at this point, though he was seriously pondering just leaving the body there himself and bailing entirely. It wasn't as if she would know, or seemingly, care.

Shrugging, she started to turn, and then stopped. Turning, she gave him the grimmest smile she could muster. "Thanks, by the way. I know it kinda went weird, but I couldn't have done it without you. I'll get your game thing back as soon as I can, ok? Don't worry about it."
That was really the best she could do. Linarite was tense, still worried, and unsettled in a strange way. Hopefully accolades from her beloved General-King would help settle her nerves.
Without pausing to look back again, Lina fled through the construction site, off in the direction of Hillworth. Mission accomplished.
