"That's true." Cygny nodded "Especially the park near here, did you have a chance to see it yet?" And damn the smalltalk, it was all so much easier earlier. "It has quite an atmosthere, and many people tend to enjoy it."
The boy waited for the shop lady, not showing his impatience in the slightest. When the girl, Aurora, was she, denied his offer, he felt slightly better. At least that's good. "As you wish, then. good luck with your shopping." He paid for the clothes, and with a last smile towards the girl, he walked out. Should get a bit of a walk or something, his calmness got a bit too many blows today... Maybe he'll fetch his violin, and go to that gazebo in the park? After all, music is good for your nerves.

"I walk by it often, had a picnic there once as well." -Aurora answered, watching him go when finally his purchase was done. Placing her own things on the counter, she paid without incident before gathering her bags to go. On her trip home, her mind mulled over her strange new aquaintance. Little did she realize they'd bump into each other again so quickly.-

-As soon as she'd gotten to her dorm and began to arrange things in her drawers, it came to Aurora's attention that somewhere along her trip one of the extra pair of leggings had gone awol.
It wasn't like it was a disaster... she could always buy more. But it seemed a waste of money if she didn't atleast look for them. Retracing her steps, she trudged slowly through the halls of Crystal Academy, before going outside, eyes scanning the sidewalk and grassy entrance to the park for the silver fabric.-

The shopping bag was carefully hidden between the rest of his belongings, and as soon as he snagged his violin case, Cygny made way towards the park.
He realised with approvement that the area near the gazebo was empty, and that's for the better. He had all the time for himself, and nobody to disturb him or listen to him. He opened the case, took the instrument, and slowly touched the violin's strings, cleansing his mind completely...
The melody went wild and vivid, all his anger, annoyance and impatience turned into notes, played quickly in a beatiful yet crazy melody, like a merry-go-round in a haunted amusement park, and you listen and listen and just can't go away. His anger softened as the notes took a form, and while it did, so did the melody, slowing down, calming and inviting... And his mask was whole again.
He could've stayed and played here for hours, but it was getting late. And dark.
His job was waiting for him.
Cygny, with a sigh, placed his violin back into the case, closed it, and moved on, heading towards the exit from the park.

-She'd scoured all the way to the mall and back, sighing as the light began to fade from the sky. It was gone, surely someone had picked it up by now and made off with it. Oh well.. maybe it would go to good use.
As the streets emptied, people going home to eat and do whatever they filled their evenings with, Aurora tried one more time, knealing down on the cool pavement to see if the fabric had been inadvertantly kicked beneath the benches or the shrubs that lined the front. On all four, she barely noticed the familar figure as he approached, starting to laugh suddenly when she realized she did. One of those crazy, frusterated, think you are going to cry laughs. Setting back on her feet, she dusted her hands lightly, trying to look atleast a tad more ladylike.- "What a coincidence."

...holy hell.
For a moment Cygny almost lost his composure here. Just how did she get here, was she stalking him or something?! Yet he smiled to her, a polite, questioning smile. "Welcome again. That's quite a coincidence, I must say. What are you doing on the ground?"
He reached out his hand towards her in an attempt to help her get up. Damn, why did she see him? And now that he's in his school uniform, too? Bad luck really loves to gather more of it around itself.
And yet he was calm. He will be, for quite a while, letting his anger go the way he did. Now please, girl, go away like a good young lady, and don't ask anything about me...

"Looking for something I dropped on my way back to the Academy." -She stated, seemingly too drained to really put much eloquence or thought into her words. She did however accept the offered hand, using the other hand to help push herself up from the ground.-
"It seems to be gone though, and I'm certainly not going to find it in the dark." -Woe was her. Gently she wiped at the dust clinging to her skirt, on finally noticing the familar colors of Cygny's new outfit. Her eyes widened.
Hillsworth!
What strange feat of injustice had put this gem of a boy in that school? Polite, gentle, a shopper for crying out loud. Who in the world thought he belonged with a group of ruffians, perverts, and brutes!? Sure Marlo and Elzo had seemed like okay kids but still.. Cygny was.. like.. like Skip! A prince in disguise. Okay.. maybe she was putting a bit much into first impressions.
Unable to disguise her surprise, she motioned softly with one hand at his uniform.- "You go to Hillsworth? That must be just horrible for you."

"That's sad to hear, Aurora." He said, seeming really saddened at the bad luck that struck the unfortunate girl. Academy, yes? So it seems she was one of the Crystals, he could've guessed it, but still... Always better to be certain. "Was it somethin important? I could help you look for it." He asked, gentelmanly, waiting for the girl to stand up, and letting go of her hand. He fixed his hair with a slow move, and fixed the grip on his violin case. She'll probably say yes, goddamit, and the whole evening is destroyed. Simply damn amazing! But what can he do? That's who he is here, isn't it?
And it seemed she recognised his school too, for crying out loud, he put it on to be noticed, but not by a person who saw him shopping! Did she share the general dislike for the school that all the Crystals did? If yes, that would be good, she'd stop thinking about him and he won't have to worry. and yet...
"It's not that bad." He shrugged his shoulders slightly "It's not a bad school, just...strict. The academic level is quite high, actually, and that's what matters."

-Oh she was charmed by his little act, completely oblivious to the contradicting thoughts that ran through his mind. She smiled sweetly rubbing her hands lightly over her unsleeved shoulders, trying to will away the goosebumps that were growing from the cool night air, and maybe something else too... little to her realization.-
"Well, it's leggings for my dance class. I have others, so it's not deathly important. I've wasted enough of my day looking for them already."
-He might have thought he was getting away, but Aurora felt bad turning down his sweet offers so many times in one day. Brushing back her ivory braids gently, she smiled some more.- "But it is getting awfully late, awfully fast. I certainly wouldn't mind being escorted back to the dorms. I hear it's getting dangerous out here at night. Terrorists and whatnot."
-It didn't dawn on her that he might get in trouble for taking her home, or that he might not even want to. As she waited for his answer, she nodded softly to his words on his school.- "Academic level is what's most important about a school I think. And as long as you behave I can't see there being too much issue with the strictness." -Obviously 'he' behaved.-

...Leggins. So she spent no idea how much time here looking for a stupid pair of leggins, and now he had to deal with company. Damn the luck!
Yet he looked at her with a properly saddened expression, that she had to bear with such a hindrance. "If you say so, Aurora. Still, it's quite a shame."
He hoped that this will end it, but her next words killed the illusion dead. Oh great. To be seen by more Crystals, that this girl will probably chat with often... Yet he didn't have a choice. "It would be a pleasure." He smiled brilliantly "And I certainly wouldn't want any accidents to happen to you. The area isn't as safe as it's been before, recently..." He sighed and shook his head, offering his arm to the girl. "Still, I'm afraid my school isn't liked very much at your place. Won't you have any trouble because of it?"

-Her hand hesitated for a moment at taking the offered arm, not anything he had done, no. This was entirely her. Her mind judging and weighing what she knew of 'boys' and her general prejudice of them, with what she'd been presented with today. Her tanned fingers rest loosely on his arm finally, not a full loop like some flirtatious tart for she certainly was not, but enough contact to certainly be considered 'on his arm'.- "You're such a gentlemen" -She mused softly.
Aurora was surprised by the warmth of his skin even through the fabric, and comforted too, letting the little roadbumps of the day melt away.
Waiting for him to lead the way, she addressed his question thoughtfully.- "Well... I suppose hanging out with Hillsworth boys isn't something a good Crystal girl would do. But I've never striven to be a good Crystal girl."
"I'd rather be a good person in general, and an upstanding, moral person certainly wouldn't turn someone away just because of the school they've gotten into I think. It'd do them some good to see that all the boys of Hillsworth aren't so bad, you know?" -Just as she hoped eventually some of the Meadow and Hills students would quit calling her a spoiled Disney Princess.-

Her hand was quite warm actually, and to Cygny's surprise, it wasn't an unpleasant feeling. You would've thought that touching such an annoying, troublesome girl would make him feel bad or something. But none of that.Now that he thought about it, why did he have such expectations in the first place?
Oh well, not that it mattered now. Hopefully this will be the last time he sees her, and he won't have to think about it much anymore.
"It's nice to hear such an opinion from a lady." He smiled to her, And began walking towards the Crystal Academy, not too fast so the girl won't have trouble with walking at his pace.
At her opinion, he almost laughed, it sounded so much as if she wanted to state that she might be a bad girl, too. But none of that, apparently. A good person in general, eh? Nice thoughts of a nice girl that doesn't know anything. Still, for once he didn't mind it that much. Probably because he sent his anger away just moments ago.
"I am certain you won't have trouble with that." He looked at her. "And thank you. I just hope you won't have any trouble with your friends."

-All smiles and sunshine, as the sun was touching low on the sky, it was a beautiful sight really. Strange to think that two such different personalities would be sharing it. That a senshi and negaverse solider walked now arm and hand. Strange and funny indeed.
Watching the buildings pass by, she cast him another grateful look of appreciation as he complimented her once more. Nothing like her rambunctious and disorderly brothers. Nothing like the rough and tumble boys of her small Alaskan town. Were those honest to goodness butterflies tickling at her stomach? It was a feeling completely foreign to Aurora, so she ignored it the best she could.-
"Mmm... and what about you? Are you going to get in trouble? I hardly think someone could mistake it from our posture, but I wouldn't want you to get in trouble because someone thought you were harrassing me." -It was fairly obvious she was joking, trying to tease a bit. Sadly Aurora was rarely good at being funny.-

Cygny laughed quietly, with a friendly tone. "I don't think that would be the case." He said, still smiling "Unless you try doing a better job looking terrified of me."
Weird question from a weird girl. Was she one of those that can't stand the silence, and blurt out he first thing that comes to their mind? Might be. Annoying. Yes. Still, not in an unbearable way. If she only keeps quiet about where they met, he might let her live. Or something.
"So let's assume that none of us will get any trouble from it, and just let me do the escorting." With a smile, he continued on their way.

-She nodded in soft agreement, falling silent after her spoke. Yes indeed, that was what she hoped, that neither got in trouble, and she could just end today on a highnote.
Aurora was a talker, happy to be in charge, happy to verbally push her opinion in the polite way she did or nag someone to death if needed. But she wasn't the sort that absolutely needed to talk 24/7, at at the moment there seemed no rudeness in not talking. She was contented enough watching their shadows disapear, and the large school rise on the horizon.
It was only as she drew nearer that her voice lifted once more, beginning to string together what she imagined would be a fairly extensive goodbye.- "Thanks again for taking the time to walk me back. Hopefully we'll run into each other someday. Meeting you was quite a pleasure. Both times in fact."
-Aurora wasn't the sort to give out her number or anything. Really.. who had time for the kind of things that led too between school and afterschool activites and defeating evil minions of the negaverse? Nonetheless she felt compelled to offer softly.- "And if you're ever looking for a shopping buddy or something, you know where to find me. There is a directory with all our room numbers downstairs."

When the girl got silent, he felt a lot better. Oh, he never had trouble with words, but silence he enjoyed. Especially if the alternative was a chattering girl.
He just concentrated on the falling darkness, and the warm hand on his arm. Yes, the day wasn't that bad after all.
When they finally reached her school, Cygny smiled at the girl naturally.not much talking when not needed, how rare for a girl. He nodded. "It was a pleasure, Aurora. And ofcourse, I also hope to some day meet you again." He let go of her hand, making a step away. For a moment, he actually thought so.
But only for a moment.
Shopping buddy?! Well, I never! There was a moment of silence, and Cygny nodded with another smile. "Ofcourse, and thank you. Have a good night, then." Bowing his head slightly, he tightened the grip on the violin case, turned around, and went on his way back to his school.
Women! I hate them all!
