Creas I do pull people across layers at events. I plan on starting a contest after the voting though so that'll be neat. I'm starting it after the voting so people don't think I'm doing it just for the position. I've wanted to do one for a while. We could do with some more contests...

And I really like what Shiori said, having the title doesn't change who you are. My old nick on zomg waaaaaaaay back in the day was "king", nobody calls me that anymore, do I feel bad? Nah, just because I don't have a nickname doesn't mean my skill is any less (perhaps a bit rusty though due to other reasons). Even if you're not a moderator, just making this thread with a sole purpose of selflessness, showing how much you want the position to help the guild, is admirable. That is something a mod does. Your respect is not earned by your name, it is earned by your actions.

Creas I really doubt anything would change save a few more people having extra buttons to screw around with, and the ability to poke around in the crew forum. The people with the most votes right now already act like mods. Who is this person you speak of. I'm sure I know what you're talking about, I just don't remember. It was in a different guild like a year ago. I rather not say her name.

On a side note - I think it is kinda depressing, that a lot of people are probably just voting for their friends. I'm not sure about this idea, but maybe next time people can apply for a guild position, don't include usernames? So the votes would be "Candidate 1, Candidate 4, and Candidate 5"?

All the others have mentioned reasons that I would also have liked to say. Though I would like to add that my votes were not based solely on popularity, but mostly on the individual's activity in the guild, along with their availability in being on Gaia.
In any case, there's always a next time, Creas. surprised Though I'll admit I had a tough time voting, because most of everyone on that list were more than qualified for the job.

If e'er an enemy force were to aim for someone's head, it would be the head of those in charge. [/random] All in all, the ones who get elected should be good candidates. It's not just a position. Being a worker at McDonalds is differnt from working here. You kind of have to really care. neutral Creas, I totally think you would make a good mod. But at the same time, it is in part, a popularity contest. You have to be known. If the people didn't have a say in who became moderator, they'd baw. >.x Ironically, I wouldn't say it's personal. You may just need to be more. . . flamboyant? =D If you can think of a better system for getting moderators, let me know. D: Oh, and there will eventually be more mods. Have no fears. it is just a position in fact a job at mcdonalds is actually higher up on the food chain because it actually offers money and work experience.
