I just stumbled upon the largest find I have ever, well, found.

Mai HiME/Otome must be HUGE over in Japan, and if you argue with me, then you are wrong. I found a Japanese image board with what I thought was a few pics. After clicking the thread, I soon found myslef thinking "Damn, I haven't seen this many HiME pics outside of my hard drive". Little did I know that there where not one, but THREE threads LOADED with Mai HiME and Mai Otome pics. I found, on that site alone, over 200 NEW pics.

Needless to say, I am very happy, and my computer weeps.

Anyway, getting to the point, at first I wanted to post every one of them, but about halfway through all the saving I decided against it. So, I won't post 'em (well, maybe some of the really good ones) unless I get some encouragement. I doubt I will, but just in case.

Here's one pic I couldn't resist posting, though.

Well, I started coloring some of those black and white pics I posted. Here's the first.

And here's another from the 200 that I got last night. It's the only fan art I've seen of Fumi in Otome. I guess being dead kind of puts a hold on the fan art made about you. *shrug*

Yeah, it's a splice job, more or less. I took the shot of her daydreaming about them from episode 6, moved her over, the basically traced and colored her in photoshop (to eleminate the poor video quality's color bleed). Of course, I wanted it to look different, so I didn't strive to make it look identical.

And no, there wasn't TOO much Fumi art from HiME, but there was a little, about 15 or so pics. About half of that was also with Mashiro, and since Mashiro was her Child in the first one, I count it as Fumi art, and a lot of it is really weird.

Oh, and I just recalled another Fumi Otome art work. so I was wrong when I said that that other is the only one. Now there are two. I wasn't far off.


If you want, I could do a mini-Fumi flood so you can snag some of the pics I have of her.

For now, though, here's another pic from the batch related to the coloration I did.
