Oh, and here's a big don't: Don't sell based on your spending habits.
I've been working on enchanting with my priest, and thought it'd be a good idea to make a bunch of Gloves - Greater Assault scrolls. I used to buy them all the time~
Until... I remembered I did that because I was too cheap to buy Crusher. xp Now the extra scrolls seem like single-ply toilet paper.

I have come to hate dailies, but they are good for a couple hundred every day if you put the time in.
recently I picked up engineering and needed a miner too to help me level it so I dusted off my level 58 dk.
she made me mad money skilling up mining, oh my god.
even if you just run around and pick up copper, mining is pretty good money for low effort. thorium still sells very well on my server.
