Hatmaster @Anael - ******** Yes Two Lumps Anyway, now that Guy Fawkes night is been and gone, the only interesting thing of November left is Armistice Day. As such, in the build up to it, I have my poppy on. If anyone is unfamiliar with the custom, do ask. Armistice day? Bonfires? Poppies? Are you guys going to get high on opium and set s**t on fire? That sounds like an awesome holiday. If that's not it, what is Armistice Day?

Okay, Armistice Day is the 11th of November, and commemorates the end of the First World War. Due to the poppy flowers that grew on some of the battlefields, Great Britain, along with a few other countries, have taken to wearing paper poppies, as a reminder of it. Also, on Armistice day itself, at Eleven o'clock, there is the Two Minutes Silence, which is usually followed by a performance of The Last Post, or Taps to you yanks, when available.
Yeah, it's quite somber, but everybody gets to wear a colourful red flower.

Yeah, thats pretty much it, though my poppy fell apart and I'm not happy about it...
