reading that made me feel like i had gone back in time to the time of the witch hunts. I honestly found it scary to read, what if a large group of people believe what this woman say? i really really want to educate this IGNORANT woman. Maybe the article will act as a catalyst. If scared Christian mothers read it and start googling this scary "paganism" and its roots in various holidays, they might come across more accurate information.
Maybe, indirectly, it will help a few more people become less ignorant and more accepting of each other? *hopes* =)

Well that is just. Wow. As a Non-Religious craft studier I can say that most of us don't think that way. I don't think she is stupid really. Just closed minded and stuck in her own ways. Who are we to judge the way some one thinks? Isn't that just as bad as what she is doing? Do what you will hum.

I kinda shook my head at this. There are many things that I find wrong with this article. Mainly 20 things.
1. Lucifer isn't a demon or any sort of evil. She's spewing a misconception, as Lucifer is a Babylon King, also the word Lucifer means Bright and Morning Star, which is used to describe Jesus. So really, she's bashing the very Deity she worships.
2. Belial isn't a demon either, but an ancient God that was worshiped in I believe Sumeria..I could be wrong but he's in the Middle Eastern region, in origin.
3. Pagans don't believe in the Devil per say. There are various Horned Gods within their respective pantheons. Also, Halloween or All Hallow's Eve is the Eve of All Saints Day, which is a Christian holiday. She should really research her own religion's holidays.
4. There is a such thing as a Christian Witch. Not only that but Christians can also perform Witchcraft. In fact the term in Exodus actually referred to pharmaceuticals not witchcraft. So really the Bible doesn't condemn witchcraft but it condemns those who would "poison the well" or apothecaries who could concoct poisons.
5. The candy I usually got on Halloween, came from Christians. In fact their kids went to the same CCD classes I did.
6. She's obviously off her rocker and needs to know the difference between fact and fiction. This is quite laughable.
7. What she doesn't realize is that the various Paleo-Pagan traditions are far older than Christian ones. It made sense to make offerings and pray to the Gods to make sure a harvest went well. It's in the same tradition that farmer would pray to YHVH now in order to ensure a good harvest season.
8. Ummm wtf? Is she smoking crack or what? I can't help but laugh. Omg, the demons are coming after you, better drop that pumpkin carving of Garfield or the demon Belial might steal your soul. lol.
9. Christians actually attend bonfires as well as other non-pagans. Chances are she's never been to one at Texas A&M. razz
10. Yeah your prayers really don't do much for Neo-Pagans, all it does is make me want to pray to Belial and do a "blood sacrifice" by using corn syrup and food coloring. lol.
11: I almost spit out my water. Witches enjoy drinking blood? Since when? I didn't think doing blood sacrifices was really required anymore. And howling at the moon? The ********. The only person that's ignorant is this so called minister. There is no harm in celebrating Halloween. Maybe this minister should try finding her brain or getting a new one. I hear brains sell cheap on the black market.
13. Hey Kim, Newsflash, Setting up a Christmas tree is also demonic. If you do that, Belial might eat your soul along with the cookies you made. xD
14. a.How can you have sex with demons if they're not exactly real per say.
b. Bestiality is a crime. It's technically considered animal abuse.
c. Again sacrificing animals is animal abuse.
d. Abuse, murder and child neglect.
e. It's not rape of adults if it's consensual. And molestation is a crime. Not every pagan is like the Frosts.
f. Lmao. Not everyone are morning people.
g. Get off the crack pipe lady.
h. Really, you're going to have to look yourself in a mirror, Kim.
15. Abomination means that of which is ritually unclean. Or did you forget the memo on not raping the Jewish canon.
16. Stop taking verses out of context.
17. Pagans don't worship the devil.
18. Worshiping Jesus according to the Jews is idolatry.
19. Belial isn't a demon.

I actually started laughing so hard I could't breathe. My brother practically had to smack me. Its funny because, while I do not appreciate ignorant bashings and intolerance,it was just so stereotypically stupid. But maybe she has some good points?

Orgies between animals and humans-Dont knock it till you try it! xd
Animal and human sacrifices-Yup!
Sacrificing babies to shed innocent blood-Doesn't everyone do that?

I do believe I will be checking the family's christmas tree to make sure the demons are comfortable, then settle down for a nice session of moon howling and some lovely blood soup.
(If someone couldn't tell, which I always worry about, that was made in jest. I prefer to respond to these things in humor, its just the way I handle it.)

That has to be the most hilarious lie I have ever read in my life time. She could have had her facts straight and talk about samhain and not mabon. And who has ever associated brown and dark red with Halloween? Furthermore, not all fall colors are the devil you moron.
I have to say i very much enjoyed the comments on witches casting curses on all the Halloween candy. The poor paranoid fool.
My favorite line is most defiantly..."I am amazed at how we ignorantly participate in pagan, occult rituals." The poor ignorant woman. Dose she not know that all christian holidays have roots in pagan holiday? Even better, the practices are what make the link so strong. What a hoot that was.

2- that news reported made me laugh so much he was trying real hard not to laugh i could hear the amusment in his voice loud and clear
