A teary-eyed Hoshi looked up, and nodded unconvincingly. "M-Mm-hmm..." On his head was a little bump, as could be expected.
Ami knelt down. "I'm sorry, Hoshi-chan. We should get that looked at. And perhaps we should make this apron easier to walk about in. Unless you have anything to fit him, Mako-chan?"

"I think I still have that one that I used to use.." Makoto mused, setting down all the things she had been carrying on the counter, and moving towards the closet. She pulled out an apron, small enough for someone his age. "This should fit!" She said, handing it to Hoshi. "Try this."

Ami watched as Hoshi put the apron on, and then helped him to do up the straps at the back. It was more or less a perfect fit, though Ami had to wonder what the design would be like, if it was one of Makoto's old ones.
As Hoshi dusted the apron off, he looked up at Makoto, wide-eyed, asking what she wanted him to do.

The apron that Hoshi had put on was a dark green color, her favorite shade. "That looks nice on you!" Makoto said, smiling. "Now, can you pour this-" she held up a bag of flour. "into this bowl?" She handed Hoshi the flour and held the bowl to his level.

Ami got a stool for Hoshi to stand on safely, and watched this go on. She gently smiled, as she had a little thought about her own time as a child, making her own little cookies with her mother.
Hoshi meanwhile was obediently pouring flour into the bowl, being as careful as possible, not wanting to spill any of it. "I-Is this okay?"
((And yes, I so referenced the movie opening, with all the chibi Senshi, because that was just too adorable to pass up.))

"Don't be afraid to make a mess." Makoto told him, smiling. "And yes, you're doing fine." She stopped him from pouring more flour in when it was the right amount in the bowl. She poured some other ingredients in, then she looked at Hoshi. "Do you like chocolate?" She asked.

Hoshi looked thoughtfully, and then he said. "I don't know. Otou-sama and Okaa-sama have never let me have any. They say it's bad for me. They say it'll give me gravities."

Makoto giggled. "You mean 'cavities'." She corrected him. "And they do, if you eat too much of it. Brush your teeth well at the end of each day, and you won't get any." She pulled out a chocolate chip from the bag and handed it to him. "Want to try one?"

Hoshi looked down at the little chip of chocolate, looked back up to Makoto, as though asking once more if it was really alright, then finally popped it into his mouth.
His round, wide eyes sparkled like the stars they were. "That was yummy! A-Ah! I mean, that was delirious!"

Makoto giggled. "You wanna put them in the mix?" She asked him, handing the bag of chips to Hoshi. She held down the bowl so he could do so.

Taking the bag into his little hands, Hoshi bowed. "H-Hai!" Again, obediently, Hoshi poured about half the bag in. "Is that too much, or do we need more?"
Ami appeared behind Makoto, looking thoughtful. "Is there anything you want me to do, Mako-chan?"

Makoto smiled. "Just a bit more, Hoshi-chan." She responded, then looked at Ami. "Can you set the oven please?" She asked with a grin. "Knowing our two blond friends, they'll be rushing over here when they smell the scent of cookies!"

Mako-chan is there anything i can do to help out before the stampede enters? the raven haired miko asked as she stood in the arch of the kitchen entrance watching her two best friends and Ami's friend Hoshi-chan baking cookies that would call their leader Usagi and guy crazy minako over to Makoto's place immediately.

"Hmm." Makoto thought for a moment, looking at her raven haired friend. "Can you straighten out the kitchen a little bit?" She asked, her eyes darting towards the slight mess on the counter.

Ami was busily setting the oven to the right temperature, and making sure it would be at the right temperature at the right time. After all, she wanted to make things just right for Hoshi-chan to have the perfect cooking time.
Hoshi was indeed doing as he was told, and pouring about a third of the remainder into the bag, before he heard Makoto say about cleaning up. "A-ah! Do you want me to help? Did I make a mess too?!" Panicking now, Hoshi moved to help clear the counter, sending him nearly toppling off the stool. Falling forwards, he caught himself by grabbing onto the top of Makoto's trousers, or her skirt, whichever she may have been wearing today.
