Cweam_Cake Well I mean with movie series the first is always not as good as the others it's almost like a rule biggrin they do that so when the second movie comes out people will want to see if it is as bad(or good) as the first one. I figured that out when i saw New moon.

It kinda sucked that they cut Tom Bombadil out of it and Frodo, Pippin, Mary and Sam's experience in the Barrow Downs as well. All in all it was good movie though, I loved it then and love it still.

If you have the Special edition all the actors that play the hobbits apologize for Tom Bombadil not being in it. In the commentary.

I watch it for Frodo as well. but not because he's played by Elijah Wood. Just because I love Frodo, and is married to him.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring was absolutely amazing! It is my favorite of the three films and has everything a film ought to have in it. Beautifully directed and acted...with an amazing soundtrack. I think it held the most charm over the other films (especially the extended version) with the most time spent in the Shire. I also am in love with this movie for its representation of Lothlorien - which isn't in the other films.
