I find it so weird how there are so many people playing violin (that I know from the internet), but where I live I don't know not one single person that does. > w <
For 8th grade I am going to join the orchestra, but it's too late to start right now because I am moving soon, so what's the point? :3
For now I just want to take lessons and get better. So hopefully I won't seem that stupid when I want to join orchestra. xDD

Ayame-Yukari Ah... the Orch Dorks... This year, I'm playing 2nd Violin, but next year I'll be a senior, so I get to play first. (The seniors always play first.) I started Viola this year though. Our bass section is so funny. They all are really bad except for this one dude, but they have all these secret rules, like at least one person has to be "in the bathroom" at all times. One time in class a second violin sat on thins one guys bass, and the teacher got so mad, it was frightening 0_0 And the bass player was all freaking out, saying "I... I told her not to do it..." The teacher didn't believe him, nor did she care... I was laughing, mostly in shock... And you wont believe how many times a cello player has had there cello knocked down... and how mad the teacher gets and how awkwardly quiet the room gets... no one even plays for a good five minutes when that happens... scary...

Finally something for orchestra!!! I play the viola for Tuffree Middle School, and I am the only girl and I might be the only player next year... I'm going to get furst chair next year too!!!
I am proud to be an orch-dork!!! Though, my teacher makes fun of us Orch-Dorks to the Bandos... 3nodding

Everyone gasps. u should have went to my odl middle school (i am in high school) the muic teahcer hated this girls violin and one day she didnt even drop it that hard but she dropped it and the finger board came right off. I was laughing so hard. and this other time we were tuning and i was so mad that day that these two boys were talking i stopped and yelled at them. i almost made the teacher cry that same day

Cello POWA!!! We Cellist at meh school have random cello meetings. One of us screams "CELLO MEETING!!!" and we gather to usually laugh that we had a cello meeting.
We also rag on the 2-3 violas in the class. They put up quite a fight to be against 6-7 of us. Can't wait till next years battles.

I've been playing the violin for 8 years and school orchestra's always good, there's always a violist in the bathroom, which is kinda awkward, and we almost never get stuff done, we improv on the piano and instruments and stuff. And whenever we do play something we either play something way too easy or something way too hard like the firebird suite.

Woo! Go violas!
My high school orchestra is really good, probably one of the best in the area. Unfortunately, most of our talent graduated this year sad So I'm first chair with a scary senior second chair (I'm a sophomore) and a bunch of really crappy violists behind me....it's gonna be interesting...
