Well here are the current leaders. If the season were to end today these would be the teams going to the Playoffs.
NFC:
New Orleans Saints Minnesota Vikings Dallas Cowboys Arizona Cardinals Atlanta Falcons Philadelphia Eagles
AFC:
Indianapolis Colts Denver Broncos Cincinnatti Bengals New England Patriots Pittsburgh Steelers San Diego Chargers
But many teams are still alive and very much in the playoff hunt. Some teams chances are still good, others are watching the the door close really really fast on them. And while many of these teams will indeed make the playoffs, it is still important to point out that none of them have a spot secured or locked. So any one of these teams can still miss out of the playoffs.

Dude-LAP DoucheWagon ima disagree with the giants going to the playoffs, cowboys got their division locked up Wrapped up? LOL! The top three in the NFC East are a game apart between each other... That and with Dallas and Philadelphia loosing tonight that gives the N.Y. Giants some hope to bounce back from their bye week and reclaim the divisional lead they once had in the weeks to come. This race isn't over by a long shot.

Well here is a week 13 upgrade on the playoff race including percentages on who is most likely to win their division, who is still in the division race, who is still alive for a wild card, and who is out for the count by divisions.
Make Playoffs Win Division
AFC EAST Patriots 95.1% 93.2% Dolphins 10.0% 4.7% Jets 4.4% 1.6% Bills 0.6% 0.5%
Each team is still alive and have an outside chance for winning the division, but the Patriots are in command of their own destiny. And realistically speaking, looks to be the only team from the East to make it in, unless the Dolphins get outside help.
AFC NORTH Bengals 92.8% 84.5% Steelers 62.7% 9.1% Ravens 44.1% 6.4% Browns 0% 0%
The Bengals are in command and on an easy track to wrapping up their division, the Steelers and Ravens are still alive in the divisional race, but are most likely wild card teams. Cleveland is eliminated.
AFC SOUTH Colts 100% 100% Jaguars 19% 0% Titans 12.3% 0% Texans 5.7% 0%
The Colts have wrapped up the South, but is still fighting for placing and home field. The Jags, Texans and Titans are all still alive, but if the Titans loose to the Colts this weekend, and whoever looses the Jags/Texans game will most likely see their playoff chances hit 0% after this weekend.
AFC WEST Chargers 95.3% 80% Broncos 58.2% 20.1 Chiefs 0% 0% Raiders 0% 0%
The Chargers are in control, but the Broncos big win Thanksgiving over the Giants have given them new life in the playoff hunt. The Chiefs and Raiders are the only other AFC teams eliminated from playoff contention.
NFC EAST Cowboys 86.0% 60.7% Eagles 69.8% 27.6% Giants 38.8% 11.7% Redskins 0% 0%
The Cowboys are in a comforitable lead, bu the Eagles still have a solid shot at getting into the playoffs if not even wining the division. The Giants have a slim chance of winning the division, and have moderate wild card hopes. The Redskins loss last weekend saw what little chance they had go down the toilet.
NFC NORTH Vikings 100.0% 99.9% Packers 69.6% 0.1% Bears 0.4% 0% Lions 0% 0%
The Vikings are guranteed a trip to the playoffs, but are just one win or Packers loss away from wrapping up their division. The Packers hold many tie breakers and are a favorites for a wild card. The Bears playoff hopes is on life support, while the Lions, good job for winning a few games, but your season will end early yet again.
NFC SOUTH Saints 100.0% 100.0% Falcons 24.7% 0% Panthers 0.1% 0% Buccaneers 0% 0%
The Saints are returning to the playoffs as NFC South Champions, the Falcons still have a shot at a wild card, Panthers are all but out, and the Buccaneers, it's back to the drawing board.
NFC WEST Cardinals 94.5% 92.0% 49ers 15.4% 8% Seahawks 0.6% 0% Rams 0% 0%
Things are looking good for the defending NFC Champions, but a loss against the Vikings and a 49ers win over Seattle next weekend could see San Francisco's chances go up significantly. Seattle is on it's last breath, and the Rams are in the Tim Tebow runnings.
