Dimitri chuckled and shrugged, interested in the fact that his childish foolery actually amused such a proper lady. He was a rather complex fellow; Dimitiri would never go out of his way to make others happy, however, he never liked it when the mood was to dark. He could be solemn for a while, but long periods of depression or anger weren't really his thing. It just took too much energy to be angry all the time. Dimitri replied lightly and playfully, "Well, we'll see how much you would like to put up with. I know you probably could put up with me, but why you or anyone else would want to is beyond me..." He smirked and continued, "And hmm... what would I like to know about you... hmm... what are your views on "adventure"...?"

Dimitri swished his tail and replied nonchalantly, "Well, Mr. Grumpy didn't really have anything in mind... I was just wondering. I'm not the kind of stallion who likes to get his hooves dirty, but if I had to..." He shrugged, not really sure how to go about asking any more questions. With a smile he replied, "I do many things for fun, but I just have this itch in my feet that tells me I should let you find them out for yourself, one by one..." Dimitri laughed teasingly and continued, "Mock me if you wish, but nothing you say or do will get me to reveal everything THAT easily..." He shirked to the side a bit, wondering if she would try to send a hoof flying in his direction for his insolence.

Dimitri smirked and felt a pleasant tingle in his hooves as Poppins flipped her head back; she was rather pretty. He snorted at the thought and pushed it away, not really sure where it was going to go, nor did he really want to know. Instead, he replied, "I would like many things, and that could very possibly be one of them..." He chuckled and tossed his head in amusement; Dimitri always liked leading people in circles, and wasn't the type to just give a straight answer. He then pause for a moment, and turned his head towards Poppins curiously, "...Tag? I... Well I mean... I know how to play... I just... well I did play when I was younger, but not really for years now... I don't really run very much, as it were. I like walking; you can get to where you are going just as easily if you walk than if you run... However," Dimitri coughed slightly, trying to regain his composure after he was so unceremoniously thrust out of his comfort zone, and his replied primly, "I used to be one of the fastest foals in my heard, I'm sure I couldn't have possibly forgotten how to run..."

Dimitri blinked, everything had just happened to quickly! First she was laughing, and then she was really close, and he was just about to jump back in surprise when he hears her say tag and take off running. Dimi snorted and frowned, how confusing... But the idea began to grow on him, and he couldn't help but crack a smile. "Oh ya?! Well you better keep running missy!" he chuckled, as he began to trot forward. It took a moment or two for his trot to start becoming a little faster as his legs tried to remember what it was like to run at full speed. He wriggled his head slightly to make sure that his mask was on tight, and then picked up speed again. Finally, his legs began to churn in the well oiled motion from his youth, and he whinnied with excitement before taking of at full speed; he would catch her yet!

Dimitri neighed happily and saw that he was gaining on the lady he was chasing. Just as he was beginning to near her, Dimi started to feel a new sort of air underneath his hooves; it was a completely liberating feeling. Quickly, his mind took wing, and he pulled up next to Poppins barely noticing her presence aside from the brush of her shoulder against his. He had completely forgotten what it was like to run, just run, simply for the sake of running. He laughed in a completely relaxed manner, in the exact opposite of the usual aloof chuckles and snickers that had escaped his throat up until then. It took him a moment to remember what they were doing, but the knowledge of the game they were playing finally reentered his mind, and Dimitri stalled for a moment; what was he doing?! His eyes opened in surprise and his front legs tried to stop running while his back legs decided to keep going, causing him to literally trip over himself. He flipped head over heels and, luckily, landed on his bottom instead of his head. Dimitri sat the for a moment before quickly regaining composure and standing up shakily, still recovering from his adrenaline rush... He called out in a rather confused manner, as though he wasn't sure of what just happened, "Tag...?"

Dimitri snorted and hung back slightly, frowning at how hard she was laughing at him. He wasn't the kind to blush when he felt embarrassed, so he simply felt cross. He sighed and shrugged his shoulders, letting the annoyance roll off; what had happened was pretty funny, and he couldn't begrudge her laughter. He smiled slightly, trying to laugh at himself as he replied, "Yes yes, I'm fine... I may not like getting my hooves dirty but I'm not weak enough to let a little fall shake me..." Dimitri was feeling stronger again as the shock subsided and he was readying himself to turn and run again when suddenly Poppins was really close. So close in fact, that their noses were almost touching. Dimitri barely had a moment to choke out, "W-what are you do-..." before Popping kissed him and then ran off. For a moment, Dimitri's mind went blank, what just happened had made no sense. Ya, he'd been kissed before, that wasn't the big deal... but, this had been different in a way that Dimi just couldn't describe. He blinked a couple times and lifted a hoof as though about to go after her, but he was still processing what had just happened. Standing stalk still, he just needed a moment, a quiet moment to understand....

Dimitri didn't move, even when Poppins trotted back over to his side. He didn't like feeling out of control like that, and he especially didn't like surprises. Breathing deeply, he let out a long sigh, swiveling his ear a bit, just making sure that he was still conscious and living. As he felt his ear move, he tossed his head slightly and finally began to relax. He then shook out each of his legs and, finally, turned his head in Poppins' direction and just looked at her for a moment. She, of course, was not able to see his eyes, so she was probably worried wether or not he was angry or upset. He wasn't really either, he was just confused. Dimitri flicked his tail back and forth a couple times, still looking into Poppins' eyes.

After a couple more moments, he turned his head away and coughed slightly before replying, "Well then... that would have to be one of the more... interesting... games of tag I have played in my life..." He paused and then looked over at her again before continuing, "What on earth possessed you to... to... to well, kiss me so suddenly like that?! I mean... I'm not upset or anything... well... frankly, I don't know what I'm feeling right now..." Dimitri snorted in annoyance and looked up at the sky, wishing he could be somewhere far, far away... far away from this rather confuddling female.
