I'm only a freshman, so I wouldn't really know. I do know that a lot of the couples i know about involve one person being in band and the other not being in band. It usually goes like this from what I've seen.
melloXflute melloXclarinet melloXmello melloXtrumpet brassXcolorguard saxXpercussion

The ones I know of currently are as follows:
Flute-Asst. Drum Major/Percussion (my section leader...ew) French Horn/Clarinet (and they're adorable lmao) Colorguard-Baritone/some guy outside of band Drum Major-alto-tenor/trumpet (Although I'm pretty sure they broke up...) Percussion/Trumpet ...although that last one is mine and that's not anywhere near official so I shouldn't count it >>
Very few band couples this year, everyone decided not to interbreed this year apparently; there's way more band/not band couples than I've ever seen xD

I'm part of a small band of about 20 people. So there are few couples. From what I know we have this Precession x Trumpet (been going out for 5 years and engaged) Baritone Horn x Precession wow the people in my band don't go out together...huh hadn't thought of that. question

Currently, this is what I can think of:
Flute x Grad. Tuba heart Flute x Trumpet Flute x Percussion Clarinet x Trumpet x2 Clarinet x Clarinet Trombone x Colorguard Tuba x Percussion Percussion x Percussion Percussion x Grad. Percussion Percussion x Colorguard (dunno how many, but it's common)
"Spring fever" usually hits around marching season and right after winter break. These are the current couple combos.

Alot of the battery people have girlfriends either in the pit or colorguard. I've also seen sax and mello. But most of the brass players pair up though.

I can't keep track of all the couples in my band. It's crazy, honestly, because they have raging hormones so they don't stay with one person long. Our shortest, that I know of, is 30 minutes. I'd have to say mine is the longest to record, of my knowledge, being a year and a half. We have a bunch that break up and get back together in days. Most just date for a few weeks then move on to another band kid.

marimbaXdrumline (percussion) ((me and Jarrod razz )) trumpetsXtrumpets clarinetsXtrumpets clarinetsXtrumbone clarinetsXtuba trumpetsXbaritone drumlineXflutes Mostly flutes are all preppy and go for the "populars" and honestly, their too scared of their reputation to go into band. bleh them lolz but i like a drumline guy, which in my band drumline and pit (marimba) are mostly together and he's in most of my classes so we're together most of the time.
