She slid the flimsiplast in one of her small pockets and nodded.
"Alright. Just make sure you come back, Garr. You're quite fun to play with."
She laughed and ran off, leaving him there alone without looking back. Through the crowd, as she searched for those seadocks, she took the opportunity to fill her own pockets as well. Credits were always helpful for something.

Dismayed by losing track of the synthetic, Kael stops to wait for Karol to catch up with him.
As he waited, some kid bumps into him nearly knocking Kael off balance, "It's not very polite to run into people like that, you know."

Bumping into Kael, Kayla fell on the floor. Surprisingly, she was quick to stand on her feet again as the man adressed her.
"It's not very polite to run into people like that, you know." "I was jus' testin' your reflexes, but you seemed to 'ave failed.", she replied, dusting off her cloths a bit. "My apologies. I'm in a 'urry. You wouldn't know the ways to the docks, by any chance?"
Kayla looked up at the man, an artisan of sorts. Artisans, to her experience, weren't the richest. And the way this man was build, she didn't really feel like being between his hands either.

"'Testing my reflexes' sounds like an excuse," Kael says with a chuckle. Kael looked over the young girl, she had an aura similar to force users though much like his own it felt undeveloped, new. "Sorry for failing to meet your expectations, as you can see though, I may have a little trouble with sight," he says pointing out the tattoo that outlines his nonexistent eyes.
"We're on our way there right now, actually, join us if you want." nodding towards Karol approaching them.

"Heeeh? I'm sorry for your eye, but the tattoo looks nice nontheless."
As he mentioned a 'we', Kayla shifted her eyes to a nearby person that was approaching them. Two strong men, one little girl. She chuckled. If it kept going on like this, she'd have to believe herself to be a 'Lady' with a personal escort after all.
"Much appreciated, thanks.", she paused. "So uhm, why did you get that tattoo over your eye? It must hurt an awefully lot."

"I'm Miraluka, we're born without 'em. A lot of us keep something to cover up since people find eyeless humans unnerving, I decided against that. It's just skin where they'd be anyway," Kael explains with a shrug.
With Karol caught up, Kael resumes walking towards the shore lines, resting his hand on his dagger's hilt as he does so.

"Miraluka huh?", she shrugged. "Never 'eared off. Besides, I'm sure there's worse than 'aving but one eye."
From the corner of her eye, she saw that Kael rested his hand on his dagger. Though not sure why, she kept up appearances and acted as if she hadn't noticed. It could have been merely the Ports that required a bit of caution, but then again, Kayla was always cautious and alert.
"Are the docks far away?"

"No eyes," Kael correct Kayla, "sorry if there's a mix up or you didn't see it, but both are tattoos. We see things... differently, you could say. In any case, we aren't too far off, you should be able to see the ships soon enough."
Kael turns his attention towards Karol, who had been quiet since she caught up to him, "Is something wrong?" Karol, who wasn't paying attention, snapped back to reality, "Oh, umm... nothing. Just sorta daydreaming," she uncomfortably laughed.

"You see... differently?"
She thought about the words. She had heared before of people who could 'see differently', though they were usually referred to Force users like Jedi or Sith. She wondered...
"You don't look much of a Jedi in my eyes. How can you see differently then?"
Karol's reply, however, was betrayed by her uncomfortability. Though the little girl couldn't read minds, she had learned to pay attention to bodylanguage. Especially when she was bargaining with other rogues. Since Kael had mentioned they could see when the seaport was closer by the ships, Kayla turned her head and saw the ships nearing. Happy that she'd soon be able to finish her little errant, she did no longer bother about Karol's unease.

Kael laughed quietly to himself, unaware that Jedi had a 'look' to them, "I see through the force, though that's something I share with my people. It wasn't something I learned."
Now interested in why she'd ask, he continues, "If you're interested in the ways of the force, you might want to join the Order. Master Skywalker's teachings were quite enlightening for me when I was younger. Of course... there are other paths one can learn from."
Karol's uneasiness was growing, something was wrong, "Kael, I think someone's following us," she whispers nervously.

"Master... Skywalker?", she asked, lifting an eyebrow. "Who's that 'gain? I'm sure I caught his name b'fore."
She did. He, along with Darth Sidious, were common names among Force users. As if they were of some high rank. If she wasn't wrong, Skywalker was one most favored by the Jedi, those "Lightsiders", the Jedi who claimed to protect, yet had let her mother die among the many more casualties. She could feel anger come up as she thought about the words that man had said: "You want revenge? Go find your own. Perhaps you could catch the attention of the Sith Lords". Yes. The people had pointed their fingers and said it were the Jedi's fault for not coming to their aid. Then why should see ask for their aid?
But Kael spoke about 'more paths'. Pushing away her anger and taking a deep sigh, she admitted to herself that, despite their arrogance, she was curious about the Force.
"Heh. Even if I was curious to learn 'bout the Force, I'm not fit for it. Aren't you s'pposed to be Force sensitive or something..?"
Karol mentioned the probability they were followed and her uneasyness grew. Kayla oddly didn't seem worried, though perhaps that was because of her life in Nar Shaddaa. Being followed, treatened and bountyhunters were common stuff.

"Skywalker is the only properly trained Jedi left, and by members of the last Council no less. He is seen by many disciples as what we should all strive to be, but but I should stop before I drag on in respects of my former master," Kael saw the aura around Kayla shift violently for a moment, a foreign sight to the miraluka, who had only seen the energies of other disciples.
"As for me, yes, I am a force sensitive but I found that the teachings of the Light were far more noble than what I seek. I only wish to know more about the force in its aspects." Kael remembers leaving the academy, final warnings on the pull of the dark side as well more joyful partings with his fellow initiates.
After a moment of silence, Kael decides to speak up, "What is it that makes you interested in the force?"

"The aspects...?"
"Noble. Heh."
She let it rest. She had no intention in offending the Mirakula. Even if he could 'see', to her he was blind. And he was helping her out finding the seaport, so until that 'conctract' was finished she wasn't about to lay any hand on him or his compagnion.
"I wonder what it is. Why do only a few have it? And what is it? I can only say that Force users seem to have special powers. And since you speak about 'aspects'... are there different Forces?"

"Good... With her holding onto the papers, I don't have to worry about them damaging anything other than me. A good time to bleed, if I were Organic," the cyborg thought to himself as he watched the bounty hunters come closer and closer to him. The mercenary crossed his arms pompously, smirking smugly as he watched the larger of the two bounty hunters, a Wookie, raise his bowcaster to aim. Omikias' wrist turned upward into his jacket, drawing both Enforcers to the ready. "Drop the caster, Zeke!" he called, drawing a bead with each pistol on them. "Drop it or I drop you."

"Not necessarily different Forces, just some believe different things about it. Some for instance believe that it is only what many consider the 'light side' while the dark side is a twisted manipulation of it by its users. Others believe it is a living thing with its own will that chose to give us all its presence. As for everything else, I cannot really say, I'm told that it is universally accepted that it is 'the energy that binds all living things' and that is all around us. I'm still looking for those answers myself to be honest," Kael began thinking back to his training and research.
"From what I have learned, the way of the Light is one of self-control and discipline while the Dark feeds on fear, anger and even more primal urges." Kael took to a hushed and sombre tone, "And though I've been warned many times to not answer the call of the Dark Side, I feel that one day it is a path I must follow to understand more..."
All who feel the force know of the pull the Dark Side has, he first felt it at the Academy when he learned of the demise of other students due to the wars.
"Heh, as for powers, I did learn a few things back at the Academy, it's not going to be anything impressive here but," he cuts himself off as he makes a brushing motion his hand while concentrating on some small rocks, sending them skipping a few feet in the dirt.
