"I would be more than happy to take care of Sangreal..." Shou said as he laid his hand on the sword tied at his hip. He smirked at the last time the two had argued. "I nearly did it a few months back. Had my father been elsewhere Arcadia would have a mate unable to uh 'perform' correctly." He looked off and smiled slightly at the thought of Tempest. "She would take in anything no matter who or what they were. It's why I love her so..." He shook his head and smiled at Garnet. "In regards to the pocky, I love chocolate and strawberry. Those are my favorite." He took one of the hard boiled orange candies and bowed slightly to her. "Arigatou..."

"Garnet giggled "somehow, I dont think she would care...at least not that much, might get bored with him after a while though" she said as she carried on walking, taking out Zidanes wrapped gift from the plastic bag it was in and placed it gently on the rest of her things and plut two packets of chocolate and two packets of strawberry pocky into the bag and handed it to Shou "small thank you gift for helping me" she said to him as she took another peice of candy and stuck it in her mouth to suck it, placing them back into the bag. "Youre welcome, by the way" she said as she finally reached Lenores gate and opened it, always having been glad she lived so far out of town that she got peace and quiet "and your right about that, lately Tempest hs taken in a stray kitten, hasnt left it out of her sight for more then five minutes, granted, I do know she was forced out of the house earlier, sometingabout 'needing time away from the kitten' or something, anyway its old enough to be by itself now anyway, she just wants to spend every waking moment with it, even sleeps with it at night."
Garnet said as she opened the gate and walked up the path "Lenore, im back with with you wanted" she said as she gestured Shou inside "after you."

Shou graciously accepted the bag and was already making plans to hide it from the other moonlits in the small group that followed his father. He was sure they would find a way to rob him of his precious pocky before he had a chance to even try some of it.
"I hope they don't tire of each other because if they do, they'll just turn their attractions to others and the world will end up with even more twisted spawn." He laughed at the mention of Tempest taking in a kitten and he shook his head. "A kitten of all things to take in... she'll make a great--" His voice trailed off as he wasn't sure he was able to finish that thought. Tempest as a mother? She'd probably in enjoy it. He stared up at the house and was grateful that he didn't have to end up wondering around like a complete fool for hours looking for the place. "Arigatou Garnet-san... I appreciate you showing me the way." He said to her as he stepped inside.

"Well, yes, that would be true, we couldn't have that" she said in agreement with the comment on the two worst 'parents' that one could ever come across in the Moonlit world "...a great mother?" Garnet finished for him "don't worry, we all think she would, several of us, attimes, play 'mother' as it is with some of the younger moonlits when they come here, she just goes beyond the norm" she said as she nodded "an youre welcome, if you want her, she will most probably be in the kitchen, just follow this hall and take a left" she said sming at him "please, excuse me, I best call Zidane" she said as she turned and went upstairs.
"Garnet, is that you?" Tempest called, filling up the basket with some of the food she had already prepared, having wanted to ask her something, not that it was important but still, could of used her opinion on something, oh well, if it wasnt, it wasnt, no big deal.

"The kitchen... right." Shou watched Garnet go and waved after her, thanking her silently again for leading him here. Taking a deep breath, he headed off in the direction that she had pointed out to him. As he turned left and continued, he heard Tempest's voice ask for Garnet and he chuckled to himself.
"Garnet is upstairs," He said as he entered the kitchen. "My dear Tempest."

Tempest looked up and grinned, basically throwing herself at him and wrapped her arms around his neck "Shou!" She said as she hugged him "I have missed you! I guess I really do need to start hanging around a bit more often don't I?" She said to him, knowing it was basically because of a certain kitten she had taken in that she had been losing all track of time, not her fault the kitten needed her though, poor thing was illtreated and left, she had to take it in.

Shou grinned as well and caught her easily as she practically flew to him. He wrapped his arms around her and held her to him, having missed the feeling of this.
"It's alright, I've heard you've been busy with things." He pulled back and tapped her nose playfully. "I hear you're the mother of a kitten."

Tempest grinned and nodded at him "I am! It's an adorable little thing too!" She said as she pulled away from him "wait here" she said as she ran out of the kitchen and up the stairs and straight to her room, the kitten playing with a piece of string on the bed "hi sweetie" she said as she reached over and patted it before picking it up and cuddling it "want to meet your daddy?" She said as she kissed the top of its head, the kitten letting out a little mew which made Tempest giggle. "I guess I will take that as a yes" she said as she held it close to her and left her room, shutting the door behind her and walked back downstairs to Shou "say hello to Bastet, Bast for short, the Siberian kitten and your new 'daughter'" Tempest said as she held the little grey and white fluffly kitten out to him "she was tied up in a bag and was near dead, left dumped in a near by bush, covered with branches and leaves, only saw her when I went to grab something Majestic, a duo bird, dropped and she was terribly thin and had a lump on the side of her which, thankfully, was only a cyst.
She was lucky to be alive when I found her, if I didn't find her that night, the vet said that she would probably have been dead by morning, she was just in that terrible of a state, I let the vet do whatever he could to save her and now I have taken her in and shes been living with me ever since, of course the other moonlits are happy to have a kitten in the house but she always comes back to me whenever she needs anything, regardless what it is, so whilst I have offered her to the whole house, she doesnt want the whole house so shes technically mine" she said as she lent down and kissed the little one on the head.

Shou watched Tempest leave to retrieve the kitten and he waited patiently for her to return. Unlike most wolves who hated cats, he had grown to love them just like his own human who cuddled with her various cat plushies around the house. It sort of just rubbed off on him he supposed because he found himself extremely excited to see this kitten she had adopted and couldn't wait to tease Starr when he returned home.
The first thing he noticed when Tempest returned was the fluff of fur she was holding in her hands and he leaned down to get a closer look at the kitten when she held it out.
"Bastet-chan.... she's beautiful Tempest and very lucky to have been found by you. She's certainly seems like she's recovering well from all of that. Poor thing...." He pulled back and bit back the urge to growl so as not to scare the kitten but was scowling. "Who could have the heart to mistreat her?" He didn't understand how anyone could be capable of that sort of cruelty without any remorse or guilt. It sickened him. Sighing, he managed to smile at Tempest and reached towards her to brush his claws against the side of her face. "We're the parents of someone else's kids and a cat...." Shou chuckled and shook his head. "What a strange family we have made for ourselves..."

"If I ever find the person who did this to Bast I would kill him or her myself, I am not one for fighting but this poor little thing..." she said as she started to hear it purr at all the attention it was getting "I guess if I ever find out how someone can do that to a poor kitten or any animal, I will tell you, too bad there are far too many assholes in this world that we will never know said answer." Tempest said with a sigh before nodding "we do have a strange family but at least its somewhat normal, at least we havent adopted a human child yet, I think we are fine untill we start going away from fur and feathers and other animal traits she said giggling.

Shou nodded his head in agreement, knowing he would react the same way if he ever saw someone mistreat another animal or he found the one who treated Bast so cruelly. He stroked the tiny kitten's head, careful of his claws and smiled at her. He was going to have to find something nice to bring her sometime.
"I'll have to make sure to visit now that I know where you live." He gave her head a pat before looking up at Tempest. "If we adopted a human child that would be... different." Shou couldn't see that one. Perhaps a lizard or a turtle but not a human. It just seemed like it would be extremely strange. "I'm not saying that I wouldn't care for the child as if he or she were my own but it would just be strange raising a human. They're complicated creatures."
He glanced around the kitchen and noticed the basket and tilted his head curiously to the side. "Did I interrupt something? Were you busy?"

Temptest laughed "in more ways then one, Lenores one of the most complicated ones out there but yes, I would take care of it also" she said as she smiled at him "and visiting wuld be nice...staying the night would be even better" she winked as she looked down at her bowl and noticed some food left in there "come on sweetie, hungry?" She asked as she walked over to it and placed her down in front of it, watching her nibble on bits "I will give her to Garnet when we go, at least then she will have some company" she said as she silently hopped she wasn't going to visit Zidane today or at least not till they got back. "well, busy yes but nothing you wern't able to interupt me for" she said as she walked over to the basket and looked in it "just making a picnic for us, its well over due that we went on a date so I thought a nice picnic in one of my favorite clearings in the woods might be nice, im just half way through making the basket up" she said wondering if Lenore would mind if they took the strawberry cheesecake and/or the chocolate gataue and/or the chocolate mint slice tha was in the fridge.

Shou smirked at her comment and her wink and shook his head. Oh it would certainly be nice to do that. He reached down and gently stroked Bast's head as she nibbled on her food and laughed at the mention of Garnet.
"Speaking of Garnet-san, she gave me a little gift." He held up the bag he still held in his hand filled with pocky and other treats. He stood again and set down the bag of goodies on the counter as he headed towards Tempest. He moved to stand behind her and wrapped his arms around her as he leaned down to whisper in her ear. "A picnic sounds lovely Tempest. I definitely glad that I came to visit today."

Tempest lent her head back and nuzzled him "I am glad you did as well, but that is mostly because I am a little too lazy to come search for you" she teased as she kissed his cheek "she did?" She asked as she looked at the bag on the counter "perhaps we could have them for the picnic?" She asked, understanding if he said no, they were his, she wouldn't take them if he wished to save them for himself "how did you meet up with her?" Tempest asked curiously, its not exactly common for the queen to be out by herself...at least not with some sort of guard or two around her or her boyfriend...or were they mates now? She never could never keep up with who was mates or boyfriends/girlfiends with who around this place. "And maybe I could talk you in to staying the night" she said as she sighed contentedly, dragging a nail ((claw? Whatever anthros have XD; )) gently across the other anthros arm "have dinner with us and just come back to my room for dessert" she said as she looked down at Bast "I am sure Bast wont mind staying out of the room for an hour or two before we actually go to bed" she said as she lent down and kissed her mates arm.

Shou chuckled and returned her nuzzling affectionately with his own. It was nice to have this moment to relax and enjoy the company of someone he loved though he had never truly voiced his feelings to her. He was more for showing than telling any way. When asked about how he met Garnet, he shrugged.
"We accidentally ran into each other and I decided to ask her for directions since Starr proved to be hopeless when I asked her where Lenore lived." He sighed and placed a chaste kiss on her shoulder. "I was lucky to have run into Garnet-san. And I don't mind if we take some of this with us just so long as I leave a box for my Otou-sama." Though his father wouldn't have thought to share with him if he came into a nice stock of Pocky, Shou was more like his mother and was more inclined to sharing.... with some aspects at least. When it came to the female in his arms, he was rather greedy and he didn't much like the sound of only an hour alone with her.
"Koi, there will never be enough hours in the day to satisfy my desire..." He let his voice trail off before he added, with a smirk. "For dessert that is."
He laughed as he reluctantly released her and went to retrieve his bag of Pocky and goodies.
