The sound of Simon crying made Elzo's head turn and just the right moment. Letting the bottle pepper spray hit him in the eye. "ARG! What'd you go and do that for?" He bent over and offered the bottle back to his assailant. "What would happen if that broke huh? We'd all be in a world of- Simon. Are you crying?" Bottle back in it's owner's hands, Elzo left the drawer to it's rightful owners and Elzo began to shake defenseless Simon by the shoulders. "Bro. What's up? Like, come on, we've been planning this for months. I mean... Simon, like, what-" the girl's accusations at Simon's weeping was his fault made Elzo clench his fist.
"MY FAULT? I'm not the one that can't just be like normal girls and just stay out of the way for a panty raid. I mean, you attacked us! What kind of girls do that? You're supposed to cower while we grab some panties and scram! It's not like we're coming in to beat you up or assault you! We're just here to grab panties and go. It's a guy thing, and now you've ruined it." Elzo began to pat Simon's shoulder, ignorant to the fact he was still the one who instigated all this. "It's okay Simon, we'll go find some other chicks and grab their panties, okay?"

Being addressed, and subsequently shaken, by Elzo did some surprising good as far as stopping Simon from crying was concerned. His sniffling and choking abruptly stopped as soon as he'd heard his accomplice's voice fired in his direction-- however, this had nothing to do with being jolted back into reality by his teammate or how Elzo had more or less established himself as the 'leader' of this small raid team.
No, this was because the Spartan had made the grave mistake of addressing Simon by his real name.
It was like a splash of cold water to the face every time he said it, and it made Simon flinch more violently than Elzo's chronic use of the word "panties" during his debacle. If these two Crystal girls reported this break-in, well... combine 'Simon' with 'tall boy with dark hair, tan skin, and green eyes' and 'probably a Hillworth student,' and cue the Killingworth that wasn't Marlo in a wig kicking down the door to his dorm and dragging him off to cigarette smoke-filled hell.
Needless to say, the pat on the shoulder did less than nothing to alleviate his emotional distress. The touch collapsed him into a heavier slouch than normal, and he sighed miserably, unable to contain himself from whining out an equally miserable "Oh, no..."

" 'Like normal girls and stay out of the panty raid'? Um, excuse me, I have NO idea what girls you've been misled by, but no girl here is going to sit there allow their property to be stolen, panty or no."
"You've also CLEARLY upset this poor...Simon," She continued. What a bunch of idiots to be tossing around real names, too, and Alba made sure to remember this one. She felt genuinely sorry for the fellow; had the spartan brat, Alba was sure the boy wouldn't have even stepped on Crystal Academy grounds, let alone their dorm room. "Of course it's your fault. I don't see anybody else in here."
"And I will not allow you to go and "find some other chicks and grab their panties", as you've so eloquently put them. What do you say, Bell?" She tilted her head towards her roommate, who now had the pepper spray in hand. "What should we do to keep them from doing just that? ...Tie them up and call our supervisors, maybe?"
