From what I know of Gaia, it will never be fixed.

I'm the most anti-Gaia person you could meet and I got mine back. It's just a matter of how loud you are; they want to keep this problem under wraps, so they'll deal with the people who make a big fuss first. It's not right, but hey, fight fire with fire..
