"Never could forget my family, they're like the air I breathe. Always there." he stated, almost philosophically. Ariza could already see the reflection of the sun off the waters as they got closer to the water hole, purple eyes sparkling almost as much as the waters, which, would almost signal the end of this enjoyable walk - that he was not ready to finish just yet.
Turning to the lioness, he gave her a small smile, before stopping in his tracks. "I'm to believe we've come to your destination, but I'm not ready to complete my walk. The day is just way too nice and I'm still filled with energy. . . so I think I'll have to call in a rain-check from you, so we can maybe continue these musings at a later time, Miss Shani." He finished, bowing his head and smiling brightly.

"Always there," Shani repeated, agreeing for the most part but thinking of Vikasini very briefly. She wasn't really there, but she wasn't forgotten. They were out hunting for her, that was proof of that. She sighed, though she still smiled. Ariza had done a great deal to improve her mood, it was just so much easier to be happy. Or even just content.
"Thank you for the company," she said when Ariza stopped, stopping as well to say goodbye properly.

"Any time, I'm not hard to spot." Ariza noted, before giving her one last bright smile as she turned to leave for the waterhole. He waited until she was about half way to her destination, before a gust of wind broke his concentration, and he turned tail, and started on his way again, down the long winding road that would take him back to his little den.
It was a good day, indeed.
